• Manuela (8/5): Consiglio questo appartamento alle persone che vogliono soggiornare ad Atene. - La struttura è ben collegata , molto vicina all’Acropoli e alla metro. Offre varie attrezzature per un comodo soggiorno , come ci si aspetta da un appartamento. Quartiere tranquillo, ottimi ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Buona comunicazione con l’host.

• Matteo (1/5): Basement apartment with serious hygiene issues - The apartment in Athens was unfortunately a major disappointment. Despite being advertised as ground floor, it was in fact a basement unit in a rundown building with a broken main door and no corridor lighting. The room was damp, poorly ventilated, and lacked any proper system for air circulation, making the stay unhealthy and uncomfortable. Cockroaches were present both at check-in and check-out. Privacy was compromised, as the only way to get fresh air was by opening the window directly onto the sidewalk above, allowing passers-by to look inside. At night, it was impossible to darken the room due to a broken curtain. The bathroom had no ventilation, and the waste bin was broken, requiring direct contact with the lid. Basic amenities were poorly managed: the air conditioner had no functioning remote and could only be turned off by unplugging it from a socket 2.40m above the floor. Finally, the check-in was entirely impersonal, with no host present, only a lockbox system run by an organization managing multiple apartments. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, unhygienic, and far below the advertised standard.

• Marios (9/5): Comfortable - It's a very modest room, with TV, a very comfy double bed, air condition, fridge with some kitchen facilities, and a nice bathroom. I stayed there for 2 nights and my stay was very comfortable. There were plugs on the wall in very accessible areas of the room so you don't have to worry about plugs in weird locations. And the most important part is that, the hosts are very friendly, understanding and cooperative. Can't find anything to add

A good value for money. - Well, the outdoor is bit hectic to open, and somehow later on I got to know the there is trick, do not push the whole key inside, and turn it around (anti clockwise). The room was bit cold as it had marble tiles, probably fit to Athens environment. However, my pain point was the air ventilation, through there is a huge window, but cannot be tilted. Therefore, in the morning, it becomes a suffocating, when the air conditioner is off.

• William (4/5): The owners are genuinely lovely and very responsive, but the flat itself leaves a lot to be desired. - The owners are lovely and very responsive. They were very very good. The bed was very comfortable. Location was okay if you don’t mind 25-35min walks to attractions in city centre. The property wasn’t ready at the stated check-in time. There was no hot water in the shower in the evenings. Rather than replace a cracked toilet seat, the cracks have just been glued. Despite being quickly mopped, the floor remained dirty. The neighbours were incredible noisy - flat above were banging on the floor until the early hours of the morning, and a family in another flat had a screaming child throughout the night - all keeping us awake. The communal hallway was filthy and had food thrown all over the place. Flies all over the bathroom due to window needing to be open for ventilation as a result of no extractor fan. Basement flat with window into the road, so very noisy when cars drive or people walk past.

• Katherine (8/5): Nice spot near metro station - The room is very clean and close to a metro station. There is a cool kitchen with fridge and microwave oven. Also the owner is very kind and responsive. Something small. The outside door was hard to open for some reason.

• Paweł (2/5): Good experience totally destroyed by bedbugs - The apartment was in very nice location, close to the Athene's centre and going over there by foot was a pleasant trip. It also had a pretty nice equipment. Host was helpful and communication was very easy. Unfortunately, the thing that destroyed our stay were bedbugs. We found them on our 3rd day inside of the bed frame, it didn't look fresh, more like something that was there for a while. Host tried to overcome the situation in the best way possible, easily offered us other apartment. There were some hassle though, because they hadn't other apartment available for our whole stay and we had to move twice. Moreover, the other apartments were much further away from city center and other conveniences. To add to this, we had a few hours that there wasn't an apartment available for us, because we were supposed to leave one, but the other wasn't cleaned yet.

• Oscar (5/5): First time in Athens , taxis don’t speak English and very difficult for taxis to find the Apartment - There was no Breakfast there , we didn’t find any sugar or coffee , the bed was in not a clean condition , my wife left with bed bugs on her body The bed was not clean , my wife got bed bugs on her body , no sugar or coffee , when we arrived we couldn’t drink coffee .
• Samuel (8/5): Good for a short stay - The bed was very comfortable. It’s very close to Petralona metro station, which is very convenient. 20-25 minutes walking from the Acropolis. It’s quite modern with a smart TV. The hosts are present via email if needed. Everything in the bathroom needs re-tighting. The shower handle is loose, faucet, shower doors. We also had to kill a couple of bugs in the room. Please know it’s not a hotel, more like an Airbnb.
