Guest Reviews
- Allan Bradford (8/5): Super house in beautiful location high up over the Derwent river. - The home is very well appointed large 5-bedroom home with everything you could need. All the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, ample closets and access to good bathrooms. The kitchen is very well appointed and easy to use.
The house sits high up over Sandy Bay, the views over Derwent River are superb! The house does not include access to the garage which means driveway or on-road parking only with limited security.
The location is a 10-minute drive from shops and restaurants - so nice and quiet but a drive to everything.
- Sherry (4/5): You are paying for the view alone. The standard of cleanliness, comfort, and transparency does not justify the high pric - The view is beautiful, but unfortunately that is the only strong point. For a property charging over $1,000 per night, this stay was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, not worth the price. The property was not properly cleaned, with hair found on the sofa and beds, dirty kitchen areas, unclean dishes, and ants throughout the kitchen.
The house feels old and poorly maintained. The mattress was very soft and sagging, lighting was dim, furniture was worn, and the washing machine was difficult to use. Communication with the host was also unhelpful.
Additionally, after booking we were required to pay a mandatory $35 insurance fee, which was not clearly disclosed upfront and was only found later hidden within the Booking.com listing.

- Bruce (8/5): Nice place but not well kept; beware of charge beyond my comprehension. - Good view, spacious, quiet neighborhood Some of the bedding is saggy and need replacement. Circuits were tripped a couple of times. Some lights are out, eg., dinning table lamp is only half lit. Most annoying is after booked, the agent needs information which is understood but I was hit by a damage liability of GBP25 which I think is totally unacceptable.
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic property with wonderful views! We had a lovely family holiday. The amenities were great, the house was spotless and we would definitely stay here again.
- Claire (10/5): Excellent stay as a group of work colleagues - huge treat to escape from our working day to such a beautiful retreat! - Absolutely stunning!
- Choge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmen (9/5): Superb -
- Sanket (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent arrangement and facilities
- Angelina (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - Beautiful clean house. Breath taking views. Space catered to the whole family. Space also allowed for different areas of quiet times. Beds were comfortable and anything we would need was supplied (kitchen utensils, towels and washing condiments, etc). Will definitely be back here. The price is indicative of the property you reside in. Nothing.
- Saukatali (9/5): Superb - The views were spectacular. Enough space and comfort. Lady managing friendly and helpful. Furniture and beds a bit outdated but that was no issue for us.
- Tan (8/5): Very good - Check-in was easy with a door code. Great location with good view over the bay.
