Sofia (3/5): The cleanliness left much to be desired. - Location was good. Facilities were fine. The cleanliness was terrible. There was a cigarette butt and books under the couch, which showed the couches hadnt been moved to clean. The toilets had remnants of the last person's usage in it. We communicated this to the host, but nothing was done. We also paid for a cot, but it wasnt there on the day of check-in. We had to follow up with the host, and it was delivered the next afternoon. The pool furniture was in disrepair, and dirty, The pool was cloudy on the first day. On our last morning, we wouldnt dare to go in, because the pool water had turned green. The amount of bird droppings was astounding. There were also a lot of bees around the pool area, which made it hazardous. The bbq had charcoal in it from the last time it was used. Finally, one of the ACs in the room was not working. The host clearly knew about it, because there was already a fan set up in the room. When we communicated this to the host, we went back and fourth with them sending them pictures of the remote, switches etc (per their request). When clearly they already knew there was an issue (given the presence of the fan). They did not offer to send anyone to fix it, or look at it.
Alan (9/5): Would high recommend for families. - Villa itself is large and spacious downstairs with plenty of room for 4+people. Pool is well maintained and the added bonus of the squat rack with pull up and dips, and several kettlebells. A bit remote but enjoyed the walk every morning to the local bakery and coffee shop.
