• Anita (8/5): Perfect location and pools - Great pools and location- right at the Marina, next to IGA, bottelo and the bus. There was a smell in the bathroom, which didn’t go away- had to leave the light/ fan on in the bathroom in order to make it better. Also, less than ideal to wash dishes in the bathroom sink and to expect to clean them all by the guests before leaving. Not really hygienic.
• Claire (9/5): A great place to stay on beautiful Magnetic Island. - Excellent location, great value for money, hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
• Rolf (8/5): Good value, good facilities, mostly good location - The room itself was very nice, clean with reasonable facilities and a very comfortable bed. The 1-minute walk to the ferry and the island's best supermarket were great, and the amazing pool has to be seen to be believed. The room door was opened with a keycode, so no keys to deal with, which was also nice. There was one thing, however, that we didn't like at all - the room faced and was just metres from the noisy ferry/supermarket carpark with its stream of people, cars and trucks passing by.

• sass (7/5): - Great location. Great pools. Not the cleanest, needs updating, needs a lick of paint and new furniture, but O.K if you want something cheaper. Owners were helpful, and gave us new supplies when we asked.
• Kerry (9/5): Very relaxing apartment in a good location. - The location was good. The pools were lovely. The apartment had a choice of books to read. Handy having a supermarket, car hire and bottle shop close by. It was a little noisy being so close to the terminal.

• Gina (9/5): Superb - Location was great for ferries, buses, restaurants, food shopping.Good size unit. Intrusive Noise from the buses, trucks etc as very close to ferries. Balcony is not private however it was interesting observing ferries being loaded/unloaded and we would stay here again.
• Sharon (9/5): Relaxing and Tranquil - The communication and directions of the hosts were fantastic, the facilities were beautiful and the pool was amazing. The only thing that the room needs is a luggage stand (perhaps one of those fold out ones) that you can store your luggage on. Other than that it was great.

• Cassie (10/5): Super clean & convenient room close to everything - Location was 2 steps from the ferry and conveniently near IGA, the bottle o & only a short walk to surrounding restraunts, cafes & take away places. Room was exactly like the photos and felt very clean. One small touch was the clothes drying rack, super helpful - our towels and togs dried super quick on that instead of hanging stuff over furniture. Everything you needed was in the room. They key lock box was also great because we could leave the key there without worrying about losing them whilst out There were blinds but some curtains in front of them would make it better. The place was very clean including the bathroom but the drain was a bit smelly, nothing major but enough to notice a little bit.
• Chris (9/5): A comfortable place to stay. - The location was excellent. Close to all transport facilities, shopping and restaurants. Magnetic Island is a wonderful place to holiday. Peppers Blue on Blue would be the first choice on our list of accommodation. The bus service on the Island is amazing and the drivers are so welcoming and helpful. We shall certainly visit again. I was unable to locate the instruction email and consequently the reception was not good, the concierge did not know we were coming and was unable to assist us. I did eventually manage to contact the owners who were most helpful. After a long day traveling this reception was not what what we wanted. Perhaps it would help if he owners could notify the concierge that private guests were arriving .
• Claire (8/5): Great location. Very basic self catering. - Great location by ferry, bus, supermarket. Comfy bed. Huge pool. Would recommend and stay again. Poorly equipped to do much self catering. Limited crockery and had to wash dishes in small bathroom sink. Small ants were all over the apartment and got into food. To be fair this could happen in any apartment. Needed net curtains as interior of apartment visible from main car park to ferry port so only option was to close blinds. This would be a cheap and easy fix. Think has been mentioned on previous review ...surprised it was not done really.

• Ash (8/5): Fantastic! Thanks guys. - Property was clean, as described, close to ferry and accessible to everything we needed. So easy to access with the lock box. The lagoon pool was especially beautiful and relaxing. It’s a shame it faced onto the road.. but we weren’t there to spend our time in the apartment. We used it as a base to explore the island. It was perfect for that.

Given the room faces onto the ferry car park, some sheer curtains would be the perfect touch for that added privacy, while still letting the light in

It was getting dark as we arrived so we were thankful to find the property straight off the ferry. The view of the car park on the ground floor meant we wanted to keep the blind down the. Whole time and it was a little noisy with people walking past. We still slept OK though as the bed was lovely. The room is very grey!

After some confusion they did explain that, but we thought we had just booked a normal room at a hotel and didnt understand why reception couldn’t simply check us in.

We book 1 bedroom apartments as they have cooking facilities, washing machine & dryer. The owner got quite direct about it & didn't take responsibility. He blamed Booking .com.au I get up earlier then my husband, of course I woke him up, been in the same room. We are accor group members. We stay at Mantra & peppers alot.

• Anonymous (8/5): A family reunion had many of us staying in various locations in Nelly Bay. This room at Blue on Blue was very well posit - Clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given it was on the ground floor and looked out to the ferry car park. No complaints
