• Charly RN (6/5): Had a decent/pleasant stay. Could use a lot more attention to details, cleanliness & communication - We were a family of 13 visiting from 08/02/25 to 08/08/2025. PROS: It's a lovely home. I really liked the size of the home and the amenities (pool, jacuzzi, and game room). The home was conveniently close to Disney World & Universal Studios, Walmart, Souvenir shops, 7-11, & fast food places. There were plenty of towels, dishes, pots/pans, cutlery, a starter package, & more. There were 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, & 2 W/D sets upstairs & downstairs. The rooms were very spacious and each room had its own bathroom with the exception of 2; but it wasn't a problem b/c they were close to a shared hall bath. The beds were fairly comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. There was ample storage, a fan, & extra comforters. The community was nice, quiet, and clean. The guards at the gate were courteous. The property manager, David, did an awesome job of making sure any problem we had was promptly addressed. We rented the home for an excellent price for an entire week! CONS: I was really upset about the lack of communication with the homeowner. I didn't get the rental agreement or instructions to the home until the evening of our arrival while we were already en-route driving from Texas. I finally had to contact the resort itself and found the property manager, David, who I spoke with regarding entrance code to the gate, front door code, and all other issues with the home. David was a great help with any issue and available at late hours with a prompt response. The current condition of the home did not quite match the photos on Booking.com. Upon arrival, I made every family member photograph any issues they noticed with the home regarding wear & tear, broken items, scuff marks, etc.. The home could've been cleaned a lot better!! The glass on the oven door was dirty. I was disappointed that the dining table was missing several chairs, 1 was broken, & 1 or 2 others were sunken in & uncomfortable. The walls were scuffed & dirty. The games in the game room worked, but were a little dated & kind of small for older kids. The tv's in every room were not working with the internet/cable. I notified David and he was able to get a technician there within 2 days to fix it. I did not like the fact that all the downstairs windows were unlocked; discovered that on the 2nd night. The kitchen smoke detector (annoyingly) rang every time the oven temp was increased. The crock pot had a broken dial so I couldn't use it. The microwave above the oven did not work. There was a huge water park that we were told we did not have access to when I booked it. However, we were told by security that we could use it, but we never did. There are minor issues that could/should be quickly and easily addressed. The one thing that definitely needs improvement is communication from the host/homeowner.
• Crystal (1/5): Enjoyable but could have been better - I like the fact that it’s a huge house I didn’t like the fact that nobody responds in a timely manner. None of the TV’s was working neither the WIFi so the kids couldn’t play the games. Microwave wasn’t working nor not working, the maintenance guy had to bring us one. Cock roaches in the house.
