• Vanesa (8/5): Stay here if you enjoy excessive instructions placed all over the apartment (it’s very clean at least, so make sure it s - The apartment was very nice and clean. Location was convenient- literally next to train/metro station. Neighbourhood was a bit questionable at night in terms of safety, but we didn’t wander around much. The property manager (or owner) was a bit intense. A few days before the stay, I woke up to 20 messages, the first one being something along the lines of “not trying to make you feel unwelcome but I’ve had bad experiences so if you do ANYTHING wrong or break anything , you’ll be in trouble”. We were literally walking on eggshells. The apartment was filled with notes such as “don’t touch”, “pull gently”, “use this way, not that way”, etc. I was told that if we change the TV language to anything other than English, there would be a £20 fine, which I just don’t understand. And the funny thing is, everything in the apartment was either white or made out of glass (including the table, A BENCH for sitting, and even some coasters for your cups). Obviously, we left the place pristine and the property manager commented on that and because we didn’t touch any of the complimentary drinks and slippers, they said they’ll try harder to make guests feel welcome. I am not trying to be mean, really, I hope this review comes off as constructive criticism. Maybe this is standard practice in London/the UK, but it’s certainly the first time I’ve had to deal with anything like this and I use booking.com A LOT.

People who need total darkness to sleep may struggle with the all white blinds, but this is a problem you will face in many places. Another problem you face in many places, the communal areas leave a little to be desired....HOWEVER DO NOT let this overshadow how stunning this apartment is.

The flat had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and overall it offered great value for money. The main downside was the noise from the trains, which was quite noticeable and made it harder to sleep. Also, the lighting in the living room and bathroom was quite dim and could be improved.

Indicazioni da parte del proprietario molto chiaree comunque molto gentile e disponibile. Nulla.

• Robert (4/5): Tidy apartment in Limehouse but unpleasant landlord - Nice and tidy apartment, close to public transport (DLR is opposite), responsive management and clear instructions, easy to find when exiting from DLR. Heating in the apartment worked very well. Security guard on duty in the building. There could have been a dish washer instead of washing machine, but this was no problem for us. Proximity to train and DLR could be occasionally noisy, not a problem either but good to know. Beware: When you book this apartment, make sure to document absolutely everything which is broken or does not work when arriving - the owner will follow up any damages, even the smallest meticulously. If you do not document the damages beforehand, he will blame it on you and try to charge you, even for the smallest amounts.

Nous recommandons vivement. - Appartement idéalement situé, très bien desservi par le métro et le bus, ce qui permet de rejoindre facilement le centre de Londres. À l’intérieur, l’appartement est extrêmement confortable, impeccablement propre et très bien aménagé. Tout est pensé pour le bien-être des voyageurs : café, thé, tisane, eau fraîche dans le réfrigérateur, nombreuses serviettes, chaussons d’intérieur, produits de douche et de bain, ainsi que des jeux de société et des livres pour enfants. La TV et le Wi-Fi fonctionnent très bien. Des magasins d’alimentation et de restauration se trouvent également à proximité, ce qui est très pratique. L’entrée de l’immeuble et les couloirs ne sont pas très engageants au premier abord, mais ils sont parfaitement sécurisés, ce qui est rassurant.
• Gerhard (10/5): Ein sehr praktisch eingerichtetes und sauberes Appartment in guter Lage direkt neben der DLR-Station Limehouse. - Die Unterkunft ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der DLR-Station Limehouse auf halben Weg zwischen dem Excel Messegelände / City Airport und dem Stadtzentrum. Das Apartment ist leicht zu finden und ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sowohl Adapter, als auch Spiele und alle notwendigen Küchenutensilien sind vorhanden. Cathrina und Lola sind sehr nett und geben viele gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt in London. Nur ca. 200m entfernt ist das Yurt Café, wo es gutes Frühstück und Snacks gibt. Auch ein Tesco Express Supermarkt ist in ca. 3 Min. erreichbar. Für höhere Ansprüche ist das Restaurant von Gordon Ramsay „Bread Street Kitchen & Bar“ direkt an der Themse sehr zu empfehlen (5-7 Min. entfernt). Mit DLR ist man in wenigen Minuten an der Endstation „Bank“, von wo man in andere U-Bahn Linien umsteigen kann. Man kann aber auch mit dem Doppeldecker-Bus 15 bis ins Stadtzentrum (Tower) fahren. Es war alles rundum ausgezeichnet.

Right in front of DLR station so easy to get to anywhere in London via the underground. Felt very safe in and around the flats. If you’re a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend the front bedroom due to noise from close proximity to DLR.

• Vladimír (9/5): Very comfortable accomodation for 3-4 persons, perfect connection to the centre, very good kitchen. - The appartment is located directly opposite DLR station Limehouse, which brings you comfortably to the underground (Bank) or Tower Hill, and the opposite direction to Canary Wharf. The appartment itself has very well-equipped kitchen including dishes. The accomodation is appropriate for family with kids, provides two separate bedrooms, one oriented to DLR station (noise is heard) a the other oriented to the courtyard (noise does not disturb). The table in living area of the kitchen could be bigger and higher, but there was no problem with breakfast here. Grocery across the street - only the most essential things can be purchased here. 200 metres far than DLR stations you can find bus stations to the centre. After arrival was perfectly cleaned and there was water in the fridge. During your stay you live in a house with locals, flat is on a 3 rd floor (elevator). There is a bathtub in the bathroom, there are shampoos available. Just little things as a table in the kitchen (see above). Insufficient cleaning in common areas of the house, but we knew that before from other previous reviews. Outside noise may be disturbing in just one of the bedrooms if you are sensitive to it.

Abbiamo trovato l'immobile pulitissimo e ben arredato con tutto il necessario per il soggiorno, dalle ciabatte, acqua, succhi di frutta, ombrelli, insomma non manca assolutamente nulla e la cucina è perfettamente funzionante e accessoriata. Ci sono stati dati tantissimi consigli per il soggiorno. L'appartamento si trova proprio di fronte la stazione che consente di arrivare in centro in appena 5 minuti (si sentono i treni, ma sinceramente a noi non ha dato fastidio e il fatto di abitare fronte stazione è stato comodissimo) Vicinissimo si trova un supermercato a prezzi vantaggiosi e fornito. Il palazzo non sembra lussuoso all'esterno, ma l'appartamento è davvero grazioso, pulitissimo e dotato di confort. Superate le mie aspettative. Qualità prezzo/offerta secondo me eccellente. Sempre disponibili per informazioni e assistenza, lo consiglio assolutamente, se dovessi tornare a Londra non avrei dubbi su dove prenotare

Además, todo estaba impecablemente limpio. La anfitriona fue encantadora y muy atenta, respondió rapidísimo a cada mensaje y nos facilitó todo durante la estancia. La ubicación es perfecta: justo al lado de la línea de metro DLR, y en apenas cinco minutos estás junto al Tower Bridge. En resumen, un alojamiento de diez. ¡Totalmente recomendable! Todo perfect!

We were arriving early and the manager was exceptionally helpful in getting us into the apartment as quickly as they were able. They were very helpful with suggesting places to go, how to use the tube and I found the level of customer service extremely high. Nothing comes to mind.

It was also very clean and it smelled really good upon arrival. The owner was very nice and communicated well via booking.com and whatsapp. It was a little hot in the apartment. We travelled in London during summer (everyday was 29-30 C) but we had fans in each room which helped a lot with the weather ! And we had a lot of traffic on our first day, i recommend you take the train / underground when you first arrive in london, it is way more convenient ! But overall, it was a great apartment and stay !
• Euan (9/5): A very comfortable small apartment, perfect as a base camp for visiting the city or the ExCeL. - This flat may be my new go-to whenever I travel to London. The location is fantastic, located within the Limehouse Basin area and directly across the road from the Limehouse DLR/National Rail Platform means that the area is relatively safe and incredibly convenient. Key handover was performed via a lockbox which meant that I was not rushed for time in arriving at the property. The hosts were very generous in what they left for us on our arrival, with water and fruit juice in the fridge, ample tea and coffee provided, and even some washing pods left for our use (even though these weren't needed as it was only a short stay of a few days). The flat is small, by around 50sqm at my estimate, and this is reflected in the price. The hosts made great use of the space, however, and both double bedrooms were easy enough to move around. We did not use the sofa bed, but there is more than enough space in the main living area to move around it when laid out. The bathroom is shower-over-bath which was a nice surprise, although the shower head was mounted a little low (I am 5'7" and my hands were grazing the head while washing my hair, so anyone taller might have to duck a little). The hosts were kind enough to provide shampoo and shower gel. Coat and shoe storage is available in the small landing area. The property provided all amenities I would expect from an apartment, as well as some nice little touches like water bottles, ice cube trays and serving bowls that went unused but were appreciated all the same. The hosts provided everything needed for meal prep as well such as foil, baking paper, pans and tins, which is greatly appreciated. The knives could do with a little sharpening, but they were still good enough to use for what they were needed for. The beds were comfortable, but very soft compared to most hotels/apartments. I was still able to sleep comfortably as a single sleeper, but I can imagine sleeping beside someone might lead to a little bit of discomfort as the mattress has a habit of swallowing you. The apartment can also get very warm in summer, although this isn't the hosts' fault: fans were provided in all rooms and windows can be opened fully, should it be needed. I can't imagine this being too much of an issue for most though, as I tend to be out most of the day while in the city.

Owner was easily contactable and kept us well informed of how to reach the apartment, things to do/see, cheaper ways of getting around London...all very helpful information. First impression of the main entrance to the apartment block was that it was old and not very clean. But pleasantly surprised on reaching the apartment.

The location is great, right next to a DLR station that can get you in 10 minutes to the Tower or Bank where you can transfer to most other tube lines.

• Masa (9/5): Perfect place for family near london - Everything. We were made very welcomed. We were given all the check in info well in advance plus recommended places to visit. Catherina also checked whether we had arrived and made sure everything was ok during our stay. The place has almost everything that we need for our short stay Not really a negative thing but a dishwasher would make this place a 10. The living room and the bathroom could do with brighter bulbs. Other rooms are perfect We also booked this apartment on the fact that it was right across DLR.. Then the DLR was not working for 2 days over the weekend due to maintenance issues. Unforseen circumstances. Not apartment fault.

The mattress in the bed was also super comfortable and tbe communication was excellent Not a problem for me if you are sensitive to noise when you are sleeping, it might not be the best location for you.

It is also in a very convenient location - the DLR station is just outside and we reached the centre of London within not more than 20 minutes! • Mukalel (9/5): Clean apartment with great access to attractions - I stayed in this apartment with 5 of my other friends...we really loved the apartment and felt welcomed... The apartment is very clean and all the toiletries were provided... location is also very close to Limehouse tube station from where you can travel to all the London tourist attractions .. Host was very kind and gave us lots of suggestions for restaurants/shopping/ tourist attractions.. P.s: They even decorated the house for Christmas which was very nice..made our stay extra special .. Only one small inconvenience: if you are a light sleeper, maybe not to sleep in the bedroom facing the tube station as you can sometimes hear the trains passing.

Excellent location, just next to DLR Limehouse station and close to bus stop. Very good contact with the host - you will get help anytime you need. Apartment big, clean and comfortable. Kitchen equipped very well (including toaster, coffee machine, microwave and everything you want:) ). There was also washing machine with portion of washing powder. There is elevatior in the building, so you don't need to use stairs. We were with 4 kids and we got full equipement - baby cot, high chair and pushchair also. Thank you a lot! Nothing, it was excellent stay.

• Alina (10/5): 100 star accomodation! - Excellent accommodation for our group of 5 people. Very very clean. Very easy to reach from the airport. It is close to the main sights of London. The DLR station is exactly as you exit the building. Cathrina is extraordinary. She guided us step by step, recommended a lot of places to visit and eat. The cleaning lady is also fantastic. She helped us with everything! From our sights it is worthy 100 star! -

• Renata (7/5): Good apartment for a short stay - Comfortable beds. Although sleeping rooms are quite small there is good space in the living room. Apartment had all needed kitchen equipment and amenities, even the electricity adapter!, that is very appreciated. A bit noisy from the train station and the inner yard when kids were playing. The apartment is quite weared off, especially in kitchen furniture. The shared space in the house of apartment was not pleasant , i.e diapers and trash were thrown and was not collected for a few days during our stay.

• Theo (9/5): Superb - Access to the Train network was amazing with Limehouse station right next to the building. The apartment inside was awesome with enough space for the whole family. The building itself is older and given its mixed use you are part of daily living conditions of the normal Londoners. Really awesome host!!! A Dryer would be nice and remember to buy your own washing powder.
• Rok (10/5): Very comfortable and relaxing! - Even though the apartment isn't new, it's very clean and tidy. The host even went so far as to give me extra recommendations on what to do and where to go in this part of London. The maid even left a new milk bottle and two water bottles in the fridge for me, which came very handy!
• Simon (9/5): Family visit to see some London sights, the Vaccines and Witness for the prosecution. - Convenient location (near Limehouse station) for a gig at the Troxy. Great breakfasts at the Yurte and 2 Magpies cafes locally. Great for further excursions, daytime Thames river walk into central London, for the theatre second night of our stay too. Host very attentive and apartment well thought and fitted out for guests. Too much info. from the host on what to do in London and how to do it in their messaging. Made it more difficult to find needed check in info. in amongst many messages. Although maybe helpful if your first visit or you are not sure about London. This was a small niggle and I get that it might be a benefit for a lot of London visitors who are not so familiar.
• Nick (5/5): Passable - Good location near the Limehouse rail station with easy access to many of London's key sights. The owner is extraordinarily pedantic and fussy - many rules about what to do and not do sent via messaging and signs throughout the flat.. There is even a container supplied and labeled for bread and biscuits - which we discovered was probably to deter the mice that got into our food one night. I broke a glass when cleaning up the mouse mess, and despite me telling the owenr this, she still tried to charge me £6 to replace the glass!! The building in which the flat is located is also rather dirty and lots of rubbish around when we were there. The area around the building is also quite depressed.

• Anna (8/5): Very good - Very nice place where to stay, good location, clean and comfortable. Friendly host and even left stroller for our kids. We had possibility to check earlier, thanks! Kitchen tops were full with dishes and other things, so we putted all in cabinets and made place for our grocery. A bit noisy because of station. Too many glass tables.
• Ray (8/5): Lime house station apartment. - Great location in London if you want to get around using the train or bus. Close by Tesco Express and a sainsbury local for grocery needs. Cozy apartment has most amenities you need. If you have a vehicle it's a bit tough finding parking, but not impossible.

• Ramon (9/5): Great value for a great property - Super nice apartment. One of the cleanest I've ever been to ;) Only 2 metro stations away from Bank on one direction or Canary Wharf on the other. Metro stop 50 meters away from the building. Very convenient location to stay in London. We would choose it again without hesitating. My family really liked the place! Perhaps a curtain in the shower would be better than the current crystal screen (lot's of water spills out).

Cathrina and Fumi gave us so much information on where to go and how to get everywhere that helped make our visit so much more enjoyable! I will definitely try to book here again on my next visit. There were some downstairs neighbors that had loud conversations from 2 am - 3 am every morning, but earplugs took care of them.
