Le jour de notre arrivée, le propriétaire m'annonce que le couloir entre la chambre et la cuisine sera partagé car il vient juste de faire des travaux. Il me propose 50£ de dédommagement sur un budget de 1 000£. J'avais sélectionné ce logement car, justement, il était entier. Quelle déception!

• Martina (1/5): Terrible. They left us out late at night. They didn’t reply to our messages. - There was a common door. So other guests had to pass through our place. There was our room, a corridor ( where strange people could pass through) and then the kitchen.

• Kalina (3/5): Terrible experience – last-minute apartment change ruined our stay - Unfortunately, there was nothing I liked about this apartment. We had booked this apartment well in advance for a special family trip, traveling with two small children. One of them was supposed to celebrate a birthday during our stay. Just a few hours before our flight, the host messaged us that there was a leak in the original apartment and that we could no longer stay there. He offered us a replacement apartment at 212 Brick Lane, London, E1 6SA with no compensation and little choice, as we were about to board our flight. The apartment can be found listed on Booking.com. Upon arrival, we were shocked. The area is extremely noisy and unpleasant – filled with 24/7 shops, cafes, and unfortunately a lot of homeless people and drug users right outside the building. The apartment was dirty, damp, and smelled strongly of mold. The conditions were unacceptable, especially for a family with children. There was no dining table, no dishwasher, and many of the listed amenities from the original apartment were missing. The Wi-Fi worked only in the bathroom and the living room. The bathroom door couldn’t even close, and the front door lock was completely broken — there was no lock cylinder, just plastic stuffed into the hole. In a neighborhood full of drug users and homeless people, the only thing securing the entrance was a flimsy latch that barely worked. We had to wedge a drying rack against the door at night so it would make noise if someone tried to come in. There was a dirty mop left in the apartment, but no bucket or anything to rinse it in. In the bedroom, there was a large sticky coffee stain on the floor that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. When we complained, the host did bring a small table so the children could eat – which we appreciated – but this doesn’t make up for the overall poor quality of the accommodation and the last-minute switch. For the amount we paid, this experience was extremely disappointing. It completely ruined the special occasion we had planned.
• Mia (6/5): Fine for short stay,but should enhance mentioned things. - Close to underground station, close to supermarket. Salt,pepper,Sugar available in the kitchen. Laundry machine. The couch is so uncomfortable it shouldn’t be advertised as for sleeping, specially not for 2persons. Kitchen is poorly equiped, only one pan and small pot (couldnt even cook pasta). The neighbourhood isn’t very European. Complicated boiler and shower to get warm water.

• Emma (1/5): Horrible stay, unhygeinic, cold and humid. - It was dirty when we arrived, there were makeup stains on the bedsheets, as well as big yellow stains. There were long black hairs everywhere on the floor. The towels were dirty and stained. ut seemed the flat had not been cleaned since the previois guest. The shower was broken and had only boiling hot or ice cold water. The heating was shut of the entire time we were there. We tried to contact the property several times, after two nights the arrived with ONE new towel, and new bedsheet for ONE bed (we were four people). Two of us went home with a flu, none of us could shower the whole time we were there. Overall it was very unhygeinic, i think it some of the worst i have ever encountered. The sofa bed was unbelievable uncomfortable.
