• Helena (7/5): Great location and view but facilities are not adequate. - Excellent location in the heart of Thredbo and not too far up the hill. Beds were comfortable and we loved the view to the mountains. We were two couples in our early seventies and we unfortunately found the unit’s seating totally inadequate. The only place to sit in the whole unit for four guests was a 2.5 seater sofa in the lounge! No other chairs in the whole unit except for three beanbags, one of them needing a refill. There was no dining table or chairs of any kind. The long strip of wood with four bar stools on the balcony were only usable when it wasn’t too hot/sunny/windy or cold. Ie not that often unfortunately. We also missed having a microwave in the kitchen, which bizarrely was quite well stocked for cooking but there was nowhere to eat a meal!

• Courtney (9/5): Cosy and Homely, in a Central Location - We have stayed in Mowamba E3 a few times now. It is a very cosy and homely apartment, in a great location. It is very clean and the hosts are always extremely helpful and quick to respond. I love that it has a washing machine, Dryer, and a drying closet in the apartment. It also has nice views of the mountain. As others have said you just need to work around no microwave or TV.

• Natalie (9/5): We loved it. The apartment was cosy and we were very comfortable, close to everything! - We had a key code which made it so much easier than carrying around a key We managed but it would have been easier if there was a microwave and small breakfast table.

We booked for 4 and had to eat our meals sitting on eskies (our own) bending over a coffee table! Very strange! There were 3 bean bags but it was impossible to eat or play games on the coffee table from them...

• Andreas (5/5): Great location, poor value for money - Location is magnificent. Bedrooms are small-ish but very functional and nice Lack of Wifi, Microwave, oven works very poorly, hence even re-heating food was difficult. No dining table, no ability to have a dinner (other than outside on a bench). Shower temperature is a pain to control.

• Merilyn (8/5): Easy access; cosy apartment close to everything; birds in the eucalypts outside the balcony - Great location - close to supermarket, pub, restaurants, river and chairlifts. Beautiful view across to the ski slopes. Parking easy because of allocated spot. No dining table was a real disadvantage. Bar stools and ledge on the balcony are good in fine weather but not suitable on a chilly night.

Only negative was no dining table. There are bench seats with at a bar on the verandah which was ok as the weather was good.

Instructions on entering and the carpark excellent. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was good to not have a TV and we were able to use our phone service data without any problems. Hearing in bedrooms very good. The lounge heating wasn't great which I think is because there is no door to the hallway area. Didn't have instructions on how to use the heater so was a bit of trial and error.

All staples such as salt, pepper and olive oil were in the great little kitchen with dishwash - Excellent location, lovely bedrooms and fireplace, we arrived late and owners had some milk and weetbix for us to have, staple items were available such as salt, pepper and olive oil. Perfect little kitchen with dishwasher. love the outdoor bench and BBQ. incredible view of the mountain. no microwave no dining table Only a 2 seater couch for 5 of us (3 bean bags were present also but we had to eat off the coffee table from the floor). Could do with an L shape lounge in the corner and small round dining table for 4-5 people. Not complaining though we made do just fine.
