- Johnathan (7/5): Good stay, poor implementation - That place was nice, great pool and hot tub. Close to everything you'd need. The fact I paid 130 for a cleaning fee for no reason. When we arrived into the room the dish washer was STUFFED. Dust all over every piece of furniture, the shower had hair on the wall. The carpet had stains and was only half vacuumed . You could clearly see where it was vacuumed and where it wasn't. Pretty disappointed in the fact I had to pay a fee that is clearly not used to actually clean the place. Also it was never implied it was a fee until I actually got to the payment page. Most likely will dispute this charge with my bank. Thanks 👍
- Wendy (7/5): Enjoyable stay at Aspens condo - Good location with ski in/ski out availability
Nice pool and hot tubs
Ski Valet Carpeting in condo torn and tiles cracked
Dated decor in condo
Poor lighting- dark
Pay parking
- Marcia (3/5): Aspen good - Very rough condo.

- Zoe (9/5): Great location! - Amazing location! Comfortable, quiet. The gym wasn’t open early in the morning.
- Margaret (2/5): The Neglect Zone - She used Aveda products and other than odd and not much glassware and bubbled, scratched warped frypan kotchen was adequate stocked. Good location. Dirty. Dated. Holes and multiple warps and rips in carpets. Windows and balcony filthy. Not all burners work and are the old coil kind not flat .the only frypan 9" warped and the only spatula bubbled so PFOA city. Oven actually brown and grease residue everywhere absolutely filthy and baked on old as was the broiler pan. Some black mold in shower. Ill fitting flat sheet. No Temp control but open windows so hot.....broken towel rack w sharp edges a safety risk.broken window latches, exposed sliding light switch.
Loud as it looks over main entrance plaza and dropoffs/delivery starts 6am and some dropoffs late at night..so again location. The place needs some love it looks like it hasnt seen a maintenance man a carpet cleaner or a deep clean housekeeper for at least 20 years. Extremely work and water damage on deck . I have stayed at Aspens and multiple properties in Whistler since early 80s...thru whiskey Jack ownership and this was the WORST stay ever for 230 US a night I expect better.

- Ludovic (8/5): Good location and good price - Location is great, pool is also a plus ! Close to the gondola and easy access even by walk The pool looks a bit weird with all the fence ; would recommend to maybe update a bit the decoration. A bit messy with all the AC units / portable heating. But great for the price !
- E (9/5): Excellent ski-in location. Loved the three hot tubs. Owner answered questions promptly. - Hot tubs were great. Convenience of ski shop on ground floor for rentals was excellent. Pull out bed was not the most comfortable pull out I've slept on. The spatula could be replaced.
- eric (9/5): All good - Close and convenient Parking with an SUV wasn’t easy
- Sharlene (2/5): Not great. - Well, the unit was old and needs some renovations done. The kitchen chairs are falling apart. The deck, windows and screens were filthy. The furniture is worn out. In order to close the fridge door properly you have to slam it. Shelve in fridge doesn’t work properly. The place needs a good cleaning. The microwave outside is dirty. The carpet needs to be replaced. Some light bulbs were burnt out when we arrived. My husband had to change light bulbs around so they would work properly. No oven mitts. The oven was filthy. I think I paid to much money to stay in that unit. My husband and I have been staying at The Aspens for the last 20 years and this was the worst unit ever.
- Steven (4/5): Was only here for one night for a company Christmas party. Would only stay here again if I was in a pinch . - The Property location is good plus the hot tub/pool The unit was old and outdated , was also hit with about $160 extra fee s . Just so you know the price listed after tax for the room is not the final price. There are extra fees/ taxes
- Steve (6/5): Have always loved the Aspens, but with the suite not in the greatest shape or cleanliness we may need to review our choi - The quiet location and the amenities Certain areas of the room could be cleaner
- Brent (2/5): - Location and pool The unit was dirty, really dirty. Had mould in the shower, dust everywhere, rips in the carpet, and holes in the walls to name a few issues.
- William (8/5): - Car parking Having to pay for car parking
- Ivana (10/5): -
- Jodie (8/5): -
- STEVEN (10/5): - Nice place very spacious and the facilities were very nice. Nothing reallly except I got a parking ticket
- Conway (7/5): Good value, good location. - We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. We were confused by the check in procedure-had difficulty accessing room. Also room was not comfortable for relaxation.
- Viktoriia (8/5): Nice - Pool and hot tub Mattresses
- Tatiana (8/5): -
- olaf (8/5): -
- Miho (8/5): Reasonable prices and ok for a a few days - The price was reasonable compared to other locations. A little dated, the bathroom fan was very loud. Shower water wasn’t hot at all.
- Lisa (10/5): Good location and clean living space! - Great location, easy to walk to Whistler village Shower curtain wasn't secured
- Annette (9/5): Great - Good value for a last minute booking Smell coming from A/C unit in bedroom when heat mode turned on
- Antoine (10/5): -
- peter (10/5): Gr8 start 4 whistler/blackcombe adventure - Great loco, village center in walking distance, chilling atmosphere, blackcombe
- Elena B91 (10/5): -
- Oxana (7/5): Don’t expect good customer service and you will be happy there - Location, hot tubs and swimming pool are nice I didn’t not realize that it was not really a hotel but suite provided by the private host. I had to do garbage/recycling myself, bother the host for the coffee refills as I brought cartridges for extra coffee but coffee machine was simple needed regular coffee and filters, so I just had to walk to the grocery store one morning because there was no coffee. My family likes watching movies at night but there was no smart TV and we couldn’t connect our phones or see any apps like Netflix or YouTube. DVD player that was in the room with instructions and some DVDs didn’t work as the host told us when we contacted them after couple of unsuccessful attempts to play DVD (what the point of having not working DVD player with instructions in the room, not sure). We forgot to place a receipt for paid parking on a dashboard ($26 additional per night) right away and got parking ticket 1 hour after we parked the car in the garage which was waved after we found it hidden in the front of the car (were driving half day next day not even realizing that we had a ticket) and went to the concierge but still not very convenient. Otherwise location and hot tubs with swimming pool were great.
- Nancy (7/5): We stayed only one night so it met our needs very well - Good location TV hard to use. Unclear instructions
- Philip (10/5): Great unit and location -
- Fiona (5/5): ok but not 'the best' of anything - location and pool I was not provided the door code to enter the room and spent over half an hour chasing to get this.
The power kept cutting out, every 15 mins I had to re set the breaker. It was 32 degrees and the AC would only work for 15 mins at a time if no other electricals were being used
The unit is looking quite tired and a bit grubby
There was no tray to heat sonething in the oven
- Ken (8/5): Very good -
- Eleanor (10/5): Great place, great location - We are a couple with an adult son who works in Blackcomb. This place was ideal for the 3 of us. Large one bedroom apartment with good sized sofa bed, well equipped kitchenette ski in/ out, hot tubs on site, easy ski/ walk to Blackcomb shops/pubs and gondola Nothing
- Nevene (3/5): Avoid this unit - Location and size of the unit The 2 most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on, general uncleanliness of the unit. No basics to use to cook meals, poorly stocked kitchen, bathroom shower curtain fell on my friend in the middle of the shower, and to top it all off, we couldnt get a hold of the owner after i messaged, tried calling and texting. The unit had an unbearably strong curry smell the second you walked into the unit. We had to keep all the windows open to air it out.
I can't believe how much we paid for this experience. Would not stay here again or recommend.
- Britch (2/5): Very poor - Great location ski in ski out It was dirty. Run down and not well equipped
- Sylwia (9/5): Great quiet location, easy and affordable parking, awesome outdoor hot tub - Nice quiet place The pass code for amenities didn’t work
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Key (9/5): Superb - Convenient ski-in/ski-out location, fully equipped, comfortable facilities and friendly staff. Nothing.
Everything was convenient and good.
- Archana (4/5): Disappointing - Location is good 👍 It's really bed smells in bathroom and room also.
Bedsheets is not really clean..
- David (4/5): I was going to stay another vacation here but changed my stay to another hotel which has better room with same facilitie - Pool, ski in, on a free bus run. Nice to have a front desk, The room was a disaster, no proper heat, leaky faucet, grimy bathroom, carpets were disgustingly and needed replacing , burners didn't work on stove damaged walls, furniture was old and needing replacement thermostat for fireplace fell apart when trying to use it,
- Al (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
- Sheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Accessible to Whistler shuttle
- Sampath (9/5): Superb -
- Marek (1/5): Bad - Nothing. We came and apartment was dirty
Mess everywhere so we did not even put our bags down. We called booking.com customer service which was nightmare he didn't help us at all We were forced to pay cancelation fee to get another accommodation. I travel a lot and this
Was worse experience ever. As far as I see this
Situation owner James Wong owe us $150 in cancelation fees. Another thing about this place is you can't reach the owner even managing company dos not have his phone number. Everything . Worse place ever dirty messy not
Ready for coming guests. Door to patio was open it looked like somebody is living there.
I booked 3 nights and vacation turned into nightmare.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Location, amenities was a great stay very comfortable
- Willie (7/5): Weekend getaway - Everything was great, the location and price can't be beat! The pool was closed which stunk cause our son really wanted to swim... we ended up going to meadow parks rec centre but it would have been nice to know the pool was under maintenance.
- Ramandeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (3/5): Enjoyed Whistler and the outdoor facilities at the property, but our overall experience was tainted by our accommodation - Good location. Great front of house staff. Great pool and hot tubs. As recently retired adventurers, we were looking for a base to explore the town and the surrounding area.
This unit was deeply, deeply disappointing due to its condition. We talked to the front desk about this but we were informed that the units in the property were independently owned. Hence, no overall owner was responsible.
The AC was totally ineffective as a well intentioned but ill thought through lash up. It was impossible to achieve a comfortable temperature, especially at night.
The cleaning was at best, superficial. The condition of the patio area was horrible. The carpet was ripped and there were many gouges and scuff marks in the walls. Some floor tiles in the kitchen area were broken - dangerously.
In summary, may we suggest this unit needs a total makeover to bring it back into an acceptable condition. It could be so good.
We will be taking this up with Booking.com.
- Tinh (10/5): Good place to stay for small group or family. - Manager was super friendly and supported.
- Sharlene (8/5): Very good - Love the location. It’s just far enough from the village to be peaceful but still an easy walk to the action.
- Eimear (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (8/5): Very good - No breakfast was provided. The parking garage is ridiculous to get into and out of. The pool is only open until 10pm, and it should be open to adults only until midnight. The bed was lumpy. We check in at 4pm but have to vacate at 10:30pm . To pay all that money for not even a full 24 hours, denied a late check out. They should give you at least 20-22 hours and the parking should be free
- Aravind (6/5): Pleasant - Good Kitchenette is used and dirty. Not cleaned. Missing dustbin and kitchenette cleaning soap and sponge. Broken lights are not fixed and made the room dark
- Charlotte (9/5): Excellent - The location was perfect. Key access was super easy! Staff were friendly, and able to answer questions. The room was decent, clean, and had everything you needed. Bed was very very big and comfy. Maybe just a bit of updating however the style of the place really matches the area and makes you feel cozy inside.
- Amrit (9/5): Superb -
- Hyunwoo (6/5): Pleasant - Hot spring Bed
Many Access code
Little bit pricy for facility
- Nat (9/5): Superb -
- Gerardo (10/5): Exceptional - The location is the best Furniture is quite old
- Emily (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, really friendly staff, hot tub was divine after skiing! Heating was set to v high so it was a little too hot in the night!
- Gulin (8/5): Aspens and upper village whistler is amazing! Apartment 333 not so much… - Great location for ski in ski out I love the Aspens and have stayed there before, however this apartment had a broken Fawcett the fan/air conditioner looked disgustingly dirty and it didn’t have basics such as salt and pepper, just empty containers. Also didn’t get my code or check in details until after 4pm had to chase them. Disappointing…
- Kani (8/5): Very good -
- Yong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irena (6/5): Roomy but dated, needs some tlc. - The hot tub amenities, ski in/out and proximity to the gondola. Lack of dishes, small appliances need upgrading. Room very dated and not very clean.
- John (1/5): Avoid this dump!! - Location was good It's a dirty dump. Room 437.
It was disgusting. Ripped old carpets, tub never drained, mold in bathroom, furniture from 1985, no glasses, coffee pot was broken etc.. And it was storage for owner's junk. There were 3 portable air conditioners with tube hook ups in the small condo . aveda Management team on ground did nothing. Never returning.
- Anonymous (4/5): Not worth the price we paid - Location Not clean
Not enough crockery cutlery for guests to eat
Family of four but only 1 spoon 3 knives two bowls etc (company bought some but it should have been there on arrival)
Broken bathroom light, I asked for it to be fixed but they didn’t fix it so we were in dim dark bathroom for the entire trip
- Lucas (1/5): Don’t rent the 333 room ever. - Room 333 in terrible conditions. Very dirty. Balcony floor horrible, dirty carpet. TV in the room doesn’t work, no remote control. Fireplace doesn’t work at all, cabinets of the kitchen damaged, toster damaged. Bad quality furniture.
I have got in contact with the company that rented to me to solve TV and fireplace since yesterday and no response yet to solve the problems. I asked to give my money back and I would leave this apartment and he never answered back.
The worst experience ever in my life renting an apartment. Nothing.
- Cirjak (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (6/5): Aspens is great as always, but this particular condo (437) is quite worn out... -
- Marcus (7/5): It was a nice stay - Great location just above Whistler village although it was a 20 minute walk to the village. It was pretty close to the Blackcomb gondola and other chairlifts. It had a small but functional kitchen which worked well for us. The apartment was run down looking with some things like blinds broken. The parking was expensive at $25 a night.
- Justina (9/5): Superb -
- Pedro (7/5): It was good but I dont plan on going back! - the location was good enought. the room was not clean on time, I had to wait about 30 minutes
the sofa bed was terrible ! with the springs hurt those who sleep on it !
there no blanket for this sofa bed.. I asked to the host, he told me: there is only one blanket for this room!! but once we are rent the room for 4 people, 2 blanket would be mandatory!
I got one from the front desk
- Martin (5/5): Passable - The place had alot broken - needs attention especially when paying that sort of money.
- Yannick (7/5): Good -
- Anastasia (8/5): Very good -
- Helena (8/5): Very good - Good location Carpets could be replaced as there are scratched up. Room was extremely hot when we first arrived
- Jadyn (6/5): Pleasant - We couldn’t find any shampoo - unsure if that was supposed to be included
- Welsh (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our week long stay! Location is incredible, even saw bears just outside the property. The unit was big, clean and very well equipped with all kitchen needs. The staff were very helpful with storing our luggage and helping print some things.
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Woodman (3/5): Fine, but not a fan of the hidden fees and inability for Vacasa to locate the booking. - The somewhat hidden cleaning fee of $100 for one night which was basically the price of the rental. On top of that you had to do your own dishes, etc.
This unit wasn't managed by the Vacasa.
- Chad (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Miguel (1/5): Bad -
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Ciara (5/5): Passable -
- Leo (10/5): ski in/ski out and hot tub! - great location, clean, good sized space for four people, great facilities (including hot tub), good staff availability
- Kim (7/5): We would stay again! - Great ski in and out location with friendly staff. Easy check in with key code being sent the week before with all instructions needed re: Parking, ski check in and out, etc. Loved the boot dryer and the pull out couch was very comfortable. Additional paid parking was not clearly outlined in the booking website. $25 per night. Though it was convenient.
The place was not the cleanest and it had definite wear and tare on the carpet so the nightly charge was definitely too much but it was still comfortable with an amazing view.
- Mason (7/5): Good -
- Anton (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (5/5): Disappointing, great location but substandard unit - location was great. Building staff were lovely BUT this was a privately owned and managed unit so the staff were not able to assist for any concerns. unit is not well equipped for a kitchen unit- no basic supplies (cooking oil, coffee …) few dishes ( glasses cups) so breakfast in wasn’t a reality, even though we bought groceries. Dishwashers had not been emptied, unit wasn’t very clean especially the shower ( black caulking ) fireplace wouldn’t turn on, sofa bed was very uncomfortable
- Sue (7/5): The Aspens is a fantastic location - true ski-in / ski-out !! - Blackcombe is great, so quick to walk across to Whistler village and The Aspens is true ski-in / ski-out. We loved the ski valet too.
The apartment is cosy and very relaxing and had everything we needed to cook of an evening.
This is the third time we have stayed at The Aspens and will definitely stay again. The apartment is a bit tired and in need of a coat of paint, new carpets and generally a bit of love. That said, it’s still a nice place and good value for, money.
- Heidi (9/5): Superb -
- Vince (9/5): Superb -
