- Petersen (4/5): - Location to airport and transport system, surrounding area very interesting . The 2nd bedroom was non compliant, no windows, the unit hadn't had a good clean for ages, the noise at night was terrible, the beds uncomfortable. TV had a crack, cupboard broken, tap leaking

Had to follow up 8 days after check out for my $1000 security deposit - which was only processed when I requested and will take another 5 days to land in my account.

Easy of access to train station and University of Sydney. Text message with the check-in instructions would have been good as I arrived at the apartment with no information. Needed to check the booking app.

- Ada (7/5): - De locatie was uitstekend vlakbij metrostation en bushalte. Toen we bij het appartement aankwamen, hadden we een toegangscode nodig. Wij bellen. Kregen we te horen dat we eerst nog een deel moesten betalen. Dit was vlgs ons voor borg. Dit bedrag zou dus terug moeten komen, maar tot nu niets gehoord of ontvangen. Het bedrag was AUD 72,74. Hoe krijg ik dit nu terug?

- Jai (1/5): Disgusting property, would not recommend. - Location was in a decent spot, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Photos used in advertisement were misrepresented. Property was filthy and was not cleaned properly. Mattress was stained and there were no mattress protectors used. Shower was mouldy and shower door handle was disgusting. Furniture was damaged, dirty and lounge pillows were stained.
Random items from previous stays were left under the bed (hair clips/dirty shoes) and there was hair all throughout the apartment.

- Serginio (2/5): Uitermate slechte accomodatie die ik niet zou adviseren - Contact verliep erg goed tot het moment dat ik aangaf dat ik niet tevreden was met de accommodatie. Na het delen van de problemen zowel via de mail als via booking kreeg ik geen gehoor. Alle afbeeldingen en video’s waarin te zien is hoe onhygiënisch het verblijf is ben ik naar booking gestapt in de hoop dat ik zowel mijn geld als de borg terugkrijg. De borg is namelijk geheel afgeschreven en dus niet terug ontvangen.
Daarnaast was het erg onveilig. Er werd iedere ochtend of avond tape geplaatst wat ervoor zorgde dat onuitgenodigde personen (dakloze onder andere) naar binnen konden lopen. Dit heb ik zelf eenmalig een keer weggehaald na het zien van dakloze die gewoon naar binnen liepen, maar gek genoeg plaatste iemand die telkens weer terug. Ook als ik dit zelf niet weg had gehaald, dit in de middag ineens spoorloos was en ik in dr avond weer terug kwam.
Tot slot veel problemen gehad met de hygiene en de opwarming van de kamers. Aangezien een kamer geen raam heeft en een wel is het moeilijk de temperatuur in te stellen voor de kamers. Een kamer wordt namelijk erg koud (met het raam) en de ander erg warm. De koude kamer werd opgewarmd en de andere kamer werd alleen maar warmer en blies veel vuile stof in de kamer wat mij ziek heeft gemaakt. Op al deze berichten heb ik geen gehoor gekregen van de accomodatie en ik ben hierdoor mijn geld voor 3 nachten volledig kwijt.
- Susan (7/5): Apartment close to public transport - Apartment was close to Waterloo station and buses. Not much around the area other than 2 hotels and a mini mart. Apartment is comfortable and clean (skirting boards could do with a dust). Beds comfortable and big bathroom and shower. Lots of crockery and full Fridge, washing machine, dryer, iron and dishwasher.
- Stephanie (7/5): Good - As described BUT very industrial area. Access to train good but not when station closed. A couple of broken things, clothes horse, plug in kitchen, no instruction re t.v so frustrating for old/ no tech folk. We were happy with everything else.
- Corina (5/5): Great location for exploring the city. - The location is fabulous for people who want to be out exploring! It's a really short walk to the Metro and not very far to the train station. You're in the city in no time, and getting to the airport is easy as well.
The sitting room is pleasant, the shower works well, and the bed in the small bedroom is very comfortable. The street noise is pretty bad, especially in the big bedroom and the sitting room. We had to keep the windows closed at night.
The kitchen was very badly equipped, no salt, tea, not even a tea towl or a cloth. And the shampoo and body wash in the bathroom were nearly empty.

Quiet house
Rooftop excellent The dishes have still been dirty in the dishwasher when we arrived. The dishwasher is to small for plates. They fit in but the dishwasher won't work properly. So I cleaned them by hand, but just found a sponge with some hairs inside. And something smelled burned when you enter the flat. That smell stayed the entire week. No idea where that comes from.

- Brown (9/5): Superb - So well connected, both Redfern train station and Waterloo metro within minutes, and not too far to loads of activities on foot. It is a bit noisy but not unexpected for central Sydney and not the hosts fault. One of the beds was quite squeaky.
- Amber (6/5): Great location and good apartment, but needed a clean - The apartment was easy to check into, with very clear instructions. The hosts had even left us some welcome treats. The apartment space and amenities were perfect for a longer-term stay - clean and well stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, wifi, aircon etc. The hosts were easy to get in contact with and help out and fix any issues/problems. The location is ideal, far enough away from the city center to be on the cheaper side, but quite easy to get to central Sydney - Waterloo Metro station (1 min walk), Redfern Train station (10 min), walk to Central (20 min). There were plenty of eating places nearby, as well as several grocery stores. One minor issue was that the amount of traffic noise that could be heard within the apartment was moderate - the bedroom next to the alleyway was worse, while the other room was a bit more protected from the noise.
A major issue was the cleanliness of the apartment overall - the kitchen and the beds were clean but the rest was not. There was a build-up of dust throughout the apartment, the big mat in the main living area was covered in hair, dust and other debris, and the bathroom had black mold in the shower and around the sink. It did not feel like it had been cleaned prior to our arrival and we had to spend a couple of hours cleaning it when we arrived.

- Caitlyn (8/5): Lovely stay, perfect location! - The location was just under a 10 minute walk from Redfern Station which was then less than a 2 minute train ride into the city so pretty ideal location. The property was styled very nicely comfy sofa, smart tv, dining room, decent sized kitchen space. It also had air con and good wifi! The area felt quite safe as a female traveller but i’ve felt safer before. The door lock didn’t seem the most secure, it could do with a proper lock just to make it seem secure. (although in the apartment block I always felt safe) The bathroom was also not super clean, and the beds weren’t the comfiest. Also no hangers in the wardrobe so all that storage space and nothing to hang up.

The location is just 10 mins walk to Redfern station, and hopefully in one or two years, there'd be the Waterloo station just around the block from the property. I honestly can't think of any we didn't like.
