- Scott (8/5): Right in the middle of the action - Location, size of room, air conditioner worked, size of bathroom was large. Privacy was good.
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Litall (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - Perfect location. Owner is very responsive. Room feels cozy and is well decorated. Many steps to get to the room, not a problem for us but taken in consideration.
- Laura (9/5): Great value for money local room in old town - Lovely room in old quarter, very local feels like you’re staying at a friends house. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Great value for money The bed was on the soft side, not super supportive for those with bad backs
- Aisling (8/5): Pleasant - Provide water and amenities Odd shop hours can make it hard to check out
- Alli (7/5): Awesome location! - I like the location. I was promoted to the penthouse suite for free which meant more steps to climb. I am very capable of climbing steps but for someone who struggles, just be aware.
- Joel (9/5): Superb -
- Ronja (1/5): Bad - I had already booked the accommodation when I read the bad reviews on google maps. After that, I felt it was too risky to stay there. I couldn’t cancel one night because I had booked it separately. And as described, on the day of arrival, two hours before check-in time, I received a message saying the water had been shut off. I was told to cancel. I didn’t do anything and informed Booking. I didn’t have to pay the money. Luckily, I found a relatively good and affordable alternative. Booking refunded me the difference.
- Thắng (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay at the Luna homestay, the homestay is located right in the heart of the Old Quarter and it's very close to many amenities, just a short walk away from the main attractions in Hanoi. The homestay itself is very clean and the owners , along with their families, will do everything they can to ensure you have the most comfortable stay and make you feel home, they're very knowledgeable about all the best places in Hanoi and they can help you with anything you need. I'd also recommend you to book any tours you're planning in Vietnam directly with them, initially I was a bit reluctant in doing so because I thought l'd be saving money by booking them myself in one of the many places around Hanoi but actually that's not true, you can get higher quality tours at a better price by booking them directly with Thang.
- Corinne (10/5): Nice and cosy - Location was very central, room nice and cosy with a very comfortable soft bed, great situation for the price paid! We needed an early check-in and since the room was free they have allowed us around 10.00 am, We have been received from a little sweet 10 years old girl who was helping the parents in the business family with her nice English, we have really appreciated her and also the mother was super nice, we were there in the Chinese new year time and they offered us a delicious dinner, very kind from them! Recommended
- Thắng (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location. Close to tons of really local restaurants and good coffee shops. In the middle of everything without being too busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Luca (8/5): Very good - Staff was very friendly and cooked us dinner, room was well equipped with things like hairdryer, drinking water or blankets. Room is not as in the pictures anymore. Walls are not pained anymore and instead of the pillow with tables there is a single mattress.
Toilet was not clean and it was very loud during the night.
- John (10/5): Worth the pay - I had a wonderful stay. This place is very unique because it feels like home instead of just an airbnb. The vibe is really good. It is literally walking distance to almost everything. The bed is the softest of all the airbnb and hotel I stayed in Vietnam (I stayed to 6 different hotel, hostels and airbnb). They gave me a wonderful and delicious dinner on my second night --- and it was so good. Recommendable.
- Cat (10/5): Wonderful! - Lovely room, great area. Owners were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Only the stairs but I am old with dodgy knees >.<
- Thắng (10/5): Good - It is located in a small alley in the center of the old town. The hotel is small but the rooms are quite big and clean. I see all rooms have windows, a very rare thing for the same price hotel in Hanoi.
- Đorđije (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice and hospitable hosts. Beautiful place to stay.
- Lily (10/5): memorable - Stayed here for several nights, had the most comfortable stay and experience. I'm going to miss their level of hospitality everywhere I go next. Nothing
- Finn (9/5): Comfortable stay with a great family - Duong and his family were extremely kind and welcoming, they carefully attended to my every need and request. I was delivered a delicious homemade breakfast to my room on my first morning, and they also did my laundry for me. The room is cute and the bed is super comfortable While it is very centrally located, the Hoan Kiem area is just too chaotic for me personally. There is very loud music on weekend nights.
- Tanawat (10/5): Exceptional - Couldn’t ask for a better location. It locates right in the heart of the old quarter. If you’re looking to stay in a place that is not a conventional hotel room, you should definitely try this place out. The room was cozy and relatively spacious for 2 people. The bed was comfy and there are everything you need. The host is more than exceptional. They cooked us one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Nothing major, but I would recommend you using orange or yellow lights, rather than white LED light in the room. I think that it will make it even more cozier for the next guests.
- Toni (8/5): Convenient location, comfortable stay. - Check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. I was able to check-in earlier without an extra cost. Staff was very friendly, lovely, welcoming and accommodating. English understood and spoken well. The host helped to carry my bag to the room, as there are stairs only. The lady gave me dinner my first night and it was a huge portion, very very delicious. Property is accessible 24h, as you get a remote to open the entrance to the store/building.
Good WIFI. Perfect location, right in the middle of everything. Yet, its not too noisy. Very close to beer (party) street, coffee shops, spas and restaurants.
The room was very cozy and homey, it felt like I was staying over at a friend's. Powerful Aircon. Clothing rack, hairdryer, mini fridge, kettle, filter water, conversion plug, extension cord, steamer to steam your clothes. Good natural light, you can open the windows. Switch for warm water. Great water pressure, removable showerhead.
Had no problem with mosquitoes. The entrance is hard to find, because its displayed as a travel agency. Enter the alley, and on your left across a spa, is the travel agency. The accommodation is inside up the stairs.
No elevator.
The bed was too soft - I think my body has gotten used to the hard beds in Vietnam. :)
Shower in-between the toilet and basin, so everything is wet after your shower.
The power socket next to the bed is used for the wifi, but the extension cord serves as a power source 'next tot he bed'. No bedside tables.
No mirror in the room, only in the bathroom above the basin.
- Benjamin (7/5): Great location - Location was amazing, very close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very respectful, helpful and kind. We even received a free diner that was super delicious! A bit of noises at night.
The room was a bit unclean and the bed would need some upgrade. Ideal for 1/2 nights in Hanoï.
- Hock (9/5): Would definitely recommend going there. - The location was perfect right in the old town of Ha Noi. The staff was also very nice and helpful at all times. On our last day we had to leave very early and they still prepared a very tasty Banh My as breakfast for us. The bathroom was a little unclean but still ok.
- Nico&fran (8/5): Very good -
- Anton (9/5): Superb -
- Klaudia (9/5): Superb -
- Molly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (7/5): Good - Cute and large room. In a loud area so lots of noise at night.
- Kitty (5/5): Great location but felt like a storage room - The use of a kettle and fridge was useful. The location was brilliant and the staff quick to reply to texts. The room we were given was quite dirty and there was lots of stuff stored in there. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling and some clothes drying on the balcony. I think it was a room that they don’t normally rent maybe.
- Louise (7/5): Good -
- Lola (8/5): Lovely - The property was spacious, a perfectly sized studio apartment and had everything you needed, private bathroom, kitchen facilities etc. The gentleman was lovely, polite and extremely helpful. Thank you for your assistance :)
- Georgia (6/5): Pleasant - Was nice and close to lots of things Bit unclean
- Joe (10/5): Very cosy - Comfiest bed we have had in Vietnam! Room was nice and cosy, very good for the price. The owner also made us dinner one night. Could be a little noisy sometimes but that comes with being in such a central location.
- Shiraz (7/5): Good - The host was great and communicative and assisted us promptly with all our questions. Location could not be better and central, though a nice and quieter room just off the busy street. Needs to be deep cleaned!!!
The room looked like the pictures and the aesthetic was cute, though was very "humble" stay that was slightly musty.
- Antoine (6/5): Owner is friendly - Right in the old quarter As most of the Vietnamese cheap hotels, the pictures on booking are much more beautiful than the reality offered by the room itself.
The size and furnishings of the room are pleasant, the large windows nice, but it seems there has been no maintenance nor thorough cleaning for quite some time now.
It is sad that taking care of their proprety isn’t regarded as it should in the entire country.
- Melissa (8/5): Excellent location and value - Great location and really nice comfortable room. Still a bit noisy but to be expected in centre of Old Quarter.
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Very homely room and comfortable bed. Close to everything in old town. The owners are lovley and even made us a breakfast one morning. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a comfortable stay.
- Brennan (9/5): Warm cozy room in the most popular part of Hanoi! - Amazing view, the room was cozy and warm, and had a very homey feel to it. The hosts were so kind and generous. The property is located in the perfect location; in the center of old quarter. There are all sorts of restaurants and cafes near by that are friendly for all types of diets. Slightly noisy area at night, but we never had any trouble getting to sleep or relaxing.
