• Sandra (8/5): Lovely apartment, great value. - Great proximity to downtown, very clean, nice apartment with everything you could need. Host was very organized and friendly. We stayed in early April and it was chilly. Space heaters were provided but you could only run one at a time in the bed rooms or they would trip the breaker. Mattresses were a little too firm for our liking. Dog s were a little noisy past quiet hours, however they did settle.

• Amirali (10/5): Overall, was a great memory and will definitely return. - The location was good, Fred and Hedieh were friendly and great hosts. The property was clean and it had whatever that we needed. There were two main things which are not deal breaker, but would worth to take into account when make this booking: 1. The height of the ground floor slab in the entrance corridor right before the last steps is less than 1.8m. So I hit my head once as I was heading down to the property. This is not some thing that could be easily fixed, but maybe a soft sponge can be sticked on to prevent any bad damages. 2. You will need to tolerate and live with ground floor foot steps noise and all that as a nautre of staying at the basement unit.

• Robert (7/5): Nice apartment, but property owners need to do some better soundproofing,the noise 0was terrible - Good location for our plans, very nice neighborhood , off street parking, easy access with private entrance. The place was very nicely renovated with only a few minor cosmetic flaws that should have been taken care of. i.e big hole in bathroom soffit, and a couple heat vents were hanging from ceiling. Place was very well equipped and the Tv options were fantastic. Also the wifi worked well. I cannot recommend this place and here is why. So the really bad thing about this place is the noise from upstairs. They had dogs that barked and were moving around, they are dogs and can't help but be dogs so i can give them a pass for that. But there were also a lot of people's footsteps and loud voices laughing/ shouting into the late night hours, well into the wee hours after the 11pm quiet time. The soundproofing was extremely insufficient. If you stay here and want any chance of a good sleep bring earplugs. Also the shower drain was clogged when we got there, i was able to get it opened up without calling the property owner.

• Susanna (10/5): Exceptional - Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious, light, bright and clean this apartment was. Very cozy and comfortable layout. Everything exceeded our expectations. There was everything in the kitchen including basic spices and cooking oil. Laundry facilities also available. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would definetly stay here again There wasn't anything we didn't like.

• Jaime (10/5): I’ll definitely consider booking Fred’s basement on my next trip! Can’t complain about anything. - Fred provided all the information needed promptly and made our arrival easier.
• Lyne (5/5): We would not book this place again until the issues above were corrected. - It is a very nice apartment. The bed was comfortable. Great shower, It was clean. Noise: the fridge had an alarm that went off randomly sometimes every 30 minutes, during the night at least twice. The apartment is not soundproof, you could hear the dogs running upstairs, a person getting up at 2:43am to go to the bathroom, people walking upstair. It was as if there was no isolation between the floor. All of this kept us impacted on our poor sleep. We were ask to come outside and move car. Fred ask that we park in a certain spot. When we returned in the evening that spot was taken and we had to park where we did the first time. My husband mentioned to the owner about the lack of privacy with the window in the bathroom/toilet not having any curtain and he suggested putting the laundry basket in front of the window.

They guided us to local shops and places to eat and local walking places. There was nothing to dislike except could do with bins in the room.
