Oili (7/5): Paremminkin ois voinu mennä - Sijainti oli tosi hyvä, siistillä alueella, suht siistikuntoinen. Huoneisto oli puutteelisesti varusteltu, mm keittiövarustus heikko, vaatteille ei ollut hyllyjä ja wc-paperi loppui kesken. Varauspalvelu sekoili ja saimme aluksi huoneiston eri alueelta mistä tilasimme, mutta saimme onneksi vaihdettua huoneiston.

Poussière et la literie pas nickel. La personne qui est venu ne parle pas un mot d’anglais d’où une communication très difficile.

Giovanni Maria (1/5): - The apartment needs renovation, walls were full of scratches, the glass wall of the balcony was broken. The apartment was delivered dirty, the plates and cutleries were oily, had spots of food and some of them smell of smoked fish. We could not use any of them. As per the booking, the roundtrip airport shuttle was included in the rate, however the owner of the flat refused to provide such services free of charge, so we had to pay from our pocket.

Нам не хватило большого зеркала, зеркало только в ванной, микроволновки и утюга, все таки это апартаменты, также мало посуды и полотенца по больше. Полотенца которые есть маленькие. Есть стиральная машина, телевизор поддерживает ютуб, большой холодильник. Очень жесткие кровати, такое ощущение, что спишь на полу.
Daria (1/5): Negative experience and threats not to return the deposit before writing a review on booking.com. - When we moved into the apartment, the furniture looked like in the photos, but was visibly worn out, but seemed okaish for a rented flat. But later we noticed numerous stains on various surfaces, as well as yellow stains on the toilet seat and the bathroom wall in front of the toilet. I had to clean toilet myself. We messaged the host about this, and they said they would send a cleaner in the morning. When the cleaner arrived, we were still asleep. I asked her through a translator if she could come back in an hour, and she agreed. About 10 minutes later, the host rudely messaged us in the chat and told us to leave. We agreed. We asked for a refund for the next night and for the deposit which we had to give them since they have such a rule. He said he would return the deposit only tomorrow after 12 p.m., but only after we leave a review on Booking.com and he will check it first. He also said he would not refund the money for the extra night. So we had to stay. Also facilities listed were not here: no swimming pool - staff told us it is only for residents of the building, but it's listed in the booking; and no washing machine. He wrote several very rude messages, while accusing me of being the rude one. I have screenshots of the entire conversation. I want to point out that the girl who checked us in was very sweet. She was also the one who came for the checking us out. She very politely begged us to write a review on Booking before she could return our deposit, saying that otherwise her boss would punish her. It lasted for more than 15 minutes! She told that her boss forbid to return deposit before we will write review on booking. After she talked with boss on the phone and told that she was allowed to give our deposit back. I sincerely hope she won’t have to keep working with that jerk.

Aleksandr (8/5): Despite a few small issues, everything else was great and I really enjoyed my stay! - Great location — even though it's a bit outside the city, everything you need is nearby: cafes, food, and a shopping mall. There are free shuttle buses within the neighborhood and also to the city center. The building is new, and all the furniture is brand new too. Very comfortable stay. The only downside is there's no washing machine. The host offers free laundry service — they take your clothes and return them the next day, which is a nice gesture, but not very convenient. It would be much better to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Also, there was nothing at all to clean the floor, not even a broom.
Anand (8/5): Excellent and budget stay to enjoy your Hanoi vacations - Cleanliness, availability of the host to let you check in and move out. Two things— 1. Its little away from the Old quarters. Specially in the morning it takes around an hour to reach Opera House which but the distance in actual is of 15-20 mins only. Obvious, this is due to morning traffic. So be early, if you are planning to catch your Bus from Opera House for your day tours. 2. The washroom does not have lock from inside. 😁😁😁

Mele (1/5): Falso advertising - Nothing. The information of the property on booking.com didn't align with what the manager had stated through WhatsApp chat. Alot of red flags i discovered in my interactions with the 'manager'. When I booked my accomodation, I recieved a WhatsApp message from the 'manager' as well as another WhatsApp message from a 'colleague'. I then messaged the manager. She advised me the property only accepts cash or money transfer, and i questioned her as the booking.com states all credit card payments were acceptable. The address stated in booking.com was not correct, and once i contacted the manager, she gave a totally different address, and so my friend and I had to walk 10mins to find it. It was also nearly 3am in the morning as we flew into Hanoi on a late flight, and it was pouring down, so we were drenched, and our phones were wet, trying to follow navigation to get to the accomodation. Once we arrived, we were told the key was in a locker which we eventually found. When we got to our room, it was only 1 bedroom apartment but I booked for a double room with 2 beds. The bathroom facilities were dirty. We arrived into the accomodation at around 3am and decided not to stay and check in, so left 2hours afterwards at 5am after reading other reviews of the place. I noticed that most of the reviews from traveller's not from Vietnam, gave reviews that explained exactly what I had experienced. After deciding not to stay and officially check in, my friend and I left the accomodation and put the key back into the locker and looked elsewhere for accomodation.

Alisa (9/5): Clean apartment with a lovely view - We are Americans who do not speak Vietnamese, and this was our first visit to Hanoi. Anh was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful to us. We felt very welcome and cared for during our stay. The apartment was very clean and had a nice view. The mattresses are extremely firm. One of them had springs, and was firm but of good quality. The other was low quality and hard as a rock. Ahn was very kind when we complained of this mattress. She brought us extra blankets to pile on top for added comfort. It was very kind of her.

David (2/5): Very poorly managed. Terrible communication. Worst place I have ever stayed. - Nice interior. Clean. Good price. Good location once I was told the real address which was different to the one on the booking page. I was given the wrong address. When I arrived, I was told I could pick up the keys in a mailbox in the foyer but there was no mailbox and I couldn’t enter the foyer without a key. I eventually got through to the contact number (after multiple calls) who told me the real address which was a ten minute walk away. I then had to wait a while for a family relative to arrive with the actual key. After I arrived, I was suddenly informed of an extra deposit fee which had not been mentioned anywhere previously. The whole check in process was unnecessarily stressful with lots of back and forth messaging and misinformation, which was especially frustrating as the booking was only for one night. Payment was difficult too as they would only take transfers to a Vietnamese bank service which wouldn’t work for me via my British bank so I had to go withdraw cash to leave for them in the property instead. One month later, the property has told Booking.com that I didn’t show up even though I obviously did and my conversation with them through Booking now appears to have been deleted. It appears they want to try and charge me a no-show fee but I have plenty of screenshots of our WhatsApp conversation to prove that I did in fact stay at the property on the night I booked and paid for.
