John (7/5): - See below Although I had booked and paid via the internet, on arrival I found it clean and presentable, but I only had a shared bathroom. As I am a coeliac, I needed a private bathroom, and so I was forced to find alternative accommodation.

Lee (1/5): Bad service - Nothing at all. I had asked for a shuttle from the airport about 6 weeks in advance, giving my flight details and arrival time (which was latish - 11 pm). As I hadn’t received confirmation a week before I repeated my request. No reply again. Having arrived I sent a message that I was about to enter the Customs queue and would be outside in about 20 minutes, and asked how I could identify the shuttle and where I would be picked up. No reply. I sent numerous further requests until well after midnight. When I finally did receive something back, it was abusive in nature, and included a number of confabulations such as that I had demanded they wait two hours for me at the airport. Since all the messages were recorded it can be plainly seen that this was just made up. Use this place at your own peril.

Michal (10/5): Nice place to stay near the airport - Very nice house with shared kitchen, livingroom and bathroom. I reccomended it for staying in Melbourne close to airport and car rentals
Rose (1/5): Bad - The unit appeared modern and stylish, and for the most part was clean. Booked for two adults since the unit was advertised as having three beds but when we arrived the owner told us he had locked two of the three bedrooms and would require us to pay an extra $100 per night per room to have them unlocked. A couple cockroaches seen in the kitchen and several long black hairs around the sink. The bed was quite firm and only had one thin duvet with no additional blankets or pillows available. The unit is at the back end of the property, while a house at the front appears to be also a shared rental with a smoking area in the front yard, which generally had people present and smoking most of the time, as well as a dog that hung around the driveway when the owner(?) was out smoking. In general the whole situation was a bit uncomfortable for us so we ended up sleeping elsewhere for the last two nights of our stay.

It was disconcerting to find someone else's toiletries in the bathroom. Dishes on the sink, although clean. Although there weren't any problems, perhaps in future descriptions of facilities, it should be noted that other unkown guests may be present in the home.

Lisa (8/5): My teenage daughter and I stayed here. It was a very comfortable house. The other guests were lovely, which helped as it - A very nice property on a quiet street. Beds were very comfortable, newly renovated kitchen, coffee machine, and massage chair. The couches were very comfy to sit on as well. The bathroom and toilet area could be a little cleaner, but I was still very comfortable to use the facilities. Needs to have hand towels and tea towels where they are easier to find, as I had to go searching around the house for some. Having Netflix available , would add to the experience, but obviously not necessary.

The common areas are big and clean. The toilet and shower weren't really clean, the toilet was really smelly. The room is a little bit small and without space for putting the bags, but it was okay anyway.
Billy (5/5): Great price but not what I would recommend. I think best having a private room for the extra cost - The house is very nice. The location is good if you have a hire car. One bathroom and one toilet for the many guests. You can use the kitchen and laundry. Walking distance to the shops or eateries. The bed was very comfortable. The owner has an ex criminal homeless guy living there with his dog. It felt a bit uncomfortable. He gets in your face and tells you his life story. Kinda felt like an expensive boarding house. Can't say I would return.. another guest approached me as she felt unsafe. I understand times are tough for some, but when paying over $100 for a room with up to 7 other people, I think these types of properties are starting to be glorified boarding houses or backpackers.
Harshabud (6/5): Pleasant - The massage chair in the lounge. It's advertised as being close to the airport but the taxi fare for the 15 min ride is 40aud. So we paid 80 aud extra in taxi fares. Also, the bedroom (no 9) is tiny.
Zahed (8/5): Recommend to others - Hentry was amazing with his customer service. he took the burden to pick us up right from aiport at 12am and took us to even a better room than the one we booked. Felt the airport shuttle was a bit expensive and the room was a bit further than I expected from the airport.

Margaret (4/5): Not as described. - Good facilities. Clean Does not meet description. Although it is on a nice street it is in a rundown neighbourhood. It is only 15 mins from the airport if you have a car or hire a taxi which adds significantly to the cost. The house is not occupied by the owner and he did not give access, as agreed, outwith usual check-in time. I knocked several times and a resident answered the door and contacted the owner who only then emailed the access codes for the outside and room doors. The public rooms were large and there were plenty of facilities. However, the bedroom had a bed and bedside table and nothing else. The whole house felt unlived in and was far from 'cosy' as described in the name of the rental which is what attracted me to itinthe first place. It was also inappropriate for a single woman to be staying alone in a house with a long term male resident. It was only when another woman arrived that I felt safe.

Laura (10/5): Lovely home! Great stay close to the airport - The property was extremely clean and very well equipped with everything you need. Towels, shampoo, shower gel, tea and coffee included. As well as a laundry machine and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a small air con unit in the room which I very much appreciated! The property is also only a 10 mins walk away from St Albans train station which then offers a direct train into the city. I loved everything!
