Guest Reviews
- Iuliia (1/5): A shady scam place. - Don’t go there, it’s just a tourist trap — a shady scam place. The apartments were booked in advance and the money was withdrawn from the card for the reservation, but the owner never got in touch with us. Nobody met us to hand over the keys, take our passport details, or explain the conditions of using the apartment. We called the owner on her mobile phone, but she kept rejecting the calls, and in Viber she ignored all our questions. When we, already tired, arrived and dragged our heavy suitcases up the stairs, the apartments were locked. We waited at the door until some cleaners showed up after a while. They said they had no idea about us or our visit, that nobody had warned them of our arrival, and that they had no keys to give us. Around 4 p.m. they briefly went into the apartment, stayed there for about five minutes, and then silently handed us the keys without any explanation. Communication with the owners was absolutely nonexistent. Later, a neighbor even called the police, as he believed these apartments were being rented out illegally. I do not recommend these apartments at all. The owners are scammers.
- Joanna (3/5): The owner is clearly aware of the issue with the neighbour so the very least we would have expected would have been a we - Clean, bright, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. There is a crazy neighbour who constantly bangs on the walls and under the stairs from 7am to 11pm. It’s very intimidating and disruptive. There was no welcome pack or instructions as to how to use the appliances, hot water, WiFi, air con etc, the dishwasher didn’t work. No working blinds in large bedroom and no blind up at all in small bedroom, just propped up in the corner.
On pointing out these essential issues to the booking agency, they just referred us to the owner, who in turn referred us to the booking agency. She said because it was Saturday there wasn’t much that could be done, so the blinds were never fixed and we couldn’t sleep in the morning because of the sunlight coming in. These points have come up before in previous reviews and have just not been addressed. It’s completely unacceptable.

- Trudy (2/5): It was an extremely distressing and frustrating stay resulting in us vacating 1 day early. - The unit was quite comfortable and clean. In the description there was o mention of the amount of stairs to access the apartment, nor the amount of stairs within the apartment. More importantly a neighbour was drunk and disrespectful who was renovating his apartment from 12 midday until 11 pm at night and recommenced again at 7 am the next morning. The loud invasive noise severely disrupted the ambience of our stay and made it extremely unrelaxing to be in our apartment which we had paid significant money per night. I went out to enquire where the noise was coming from & had a conversation with the neighbour. When I asked him if he could please stop the noise as it was now 9pm he accused me of being aggressive and subsequently phoned the police. Twenty minutes later three police officers attended our unit where we explained what was occurring. They indicated that this was not an isolated incident, and they have attended this apartment with complaints about him before. This entire experience was distressing and really impacted on our quality of time in old town Dubrovnik. According to the police this situation has been occurring for several years. I would really dislike for any other couple or family to experience what we did. We felt quite unsafe in the apartment at all times. Until the situation with the neighbor and his mental health are rectified, this apartment is not fit for the public to rent.
- Danielle (4/5): *** PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING**** - good location and clean The neighbour down stairs having random banging outbursts. We would be woken up at 7am and experience constant loud banging noise and then randomly after 10pm. The police are well aware of the issue and so is the owner but they didn’t disclose this. This apartment should NOT be listed this until the issue is resolved. The noise is quite frightening, let alone for kids. There is no information in the apartment about how to use the washing machine, no internet password (have to message the cleaner/receptionist through WhatsApp and ask), no information on where to dispose of bin bags and no milk. We had a 5 night stay and no one came to clean our apartment or provide new towels. There is no shampoo, conditioner, body wash and laundry powder. Additionally, no notes on important switches; the alarm would beep constantly, had to message the host on how to turn off. The hot water service is a switch next to a light switch (but not marked?) Accidentally turned off hot water and didn’t know how to turn on, appreciate host company responded to WhatsApp message at 10:40pm.
No blinds in 2nd bedroom, there are blinds but both snapped off wall so cannot darken room (doesn’t make a difference with the bloke banging downstairs.) bring eye mask and ear plugs for this stay you will need it.
If you have mobility issues do not book this place as there are so many stairs and the host doesn’t tell you this.
We would rate this apartment 1 star but the location saved it.
- Fu (9/5): Very lucky to have a such memory in Dubrovnik, thanks for the host, I really enjoyed it - Very cozy place, can see the sun rise in the morning, complete cooking utensils, the decoration in house is quite lovely, we really had a good time there. The neighbor is noisy beginning 7am, and any random time all day;
The water heater is not enough for 3 persons to take shower, usually need to wait for 30 mins for next one;
Many stairs to the front door, not really good for of people
- Brian (7/5): Lovely weekend away - The Appartment is very nice with everything you require for your stay. It is in the old town so close to shops/food/Old port The appartment has neighbour below who bangs the walls. In one day it was 15 times load bang noise. Its an known problem but nothing can be done. He starts banging the walls at 7am and hits random times
- Ulrich (4/5): Nice apartment haunted by an obnoxious neighbor - The interior design is very nice and the location is good if you are good at climbing stairs (what you have to be anyway if you vist this town). There is a super obnoxious neighbor next door who is happy to produce some very loud hammering noise from inside against the walls at random times, morning, noon, evening, anytime. It's a mental issue. The host knows it (but wouldn't tell you) and the police knows it (it's ongoing for a long time according to other reviews which I failed to read in advance what won't happen again) but nobody is taking action. If you are not into some psycho warfare games during your holiday DON'T GO there!
- Penelope (6/5): Nice property, but problems poorly managed - Great location, very spacious and nicely decorated, clean, well-stocked kitchen if you need it. Communication from the host agency was poor, messaged incessantly and at all hours even over a week prior to our arrival. You have to collect your key from a separate location (not too far) prior to arrival, bit inconvenient with luggage. As others have said, there are a lot of stairs so plan accordingly. Arrived to a loud beeping noise from the fire alarm control box, that has apparently been beeping all summer. It took multiple messages, phone calls, and a visit to the office to eventually find a solution to make it stop, all the while staff were generally rude and dismissive (until a very nice interaction at the end when it was partially resolved). Alarm continuously needed resetting throughout our stay (does it even work properly?) and throughout the night, the agency cannot get any contact with the actual owner of the property - so bit of a nightmare if something more significant goes wrong. As with previous review, there is a neighbour who bangs the wall aggressively and loudly
- Elizabeth (10/5): BEAUTIFUL BUT YOU WORK FOR YOUR STAY! - The property was in a perfect location in Old Town. The place felt very homely and had everything you needed for a long stay & short stay The aircon in the large bedroom didn’t work well. We had to blast the two aircon units downstairs in hopes of the cool air traveling up. The amount of stairs it takes to get to the place is exhausting and then there’s more steep stairs once you open the front door to enter. At that point it’s exhausting to carry on. There should be a service where you can pay extra for assistance with baggage being brought to the property from the office. People will most certainly pay for it. This should also be one of the first things disclosed about the property. Someone with asthma would have no chance. Once you arrive up the stairs within the property, there’s more stairs to the bedroom, we simply gave up at that point with our luggage and kept it all in the living room area and didn’t attempt to bring up to the bedrooms.
- Michele (9/5): Great place if you’re fine with stairs! - Location was great, near everything but very quiet. Yes, there are stairs - both getting to the apartment from the outside and then as soon as you enter. But stairs seem pretty much unavoidable in most of the city. The AC worked great. It was a bit warm and stuffy in the apartment when I arrived, and the AC was not a super cold blast of air immediately when I turned it on, but I went out for a couple hours and came back and everything was cool. The apartment is super spacious with plenty of light and nicely decorated. Also nice views of the city from the windows. Just don’t accidentally turn off the switch marked for the water heater like my travel buddy did, leaving me with a cold shower. The hot water did eventually return after we realized the problem and turned it back on, but it took a while.
- Tsatsaroni (10/5): Amazing accommodation - This apartment was amazing . It was decorated with modern style . We loved all the smart spacious . It was at the center of the old town . Also I liked it so much that I didn’t want to go out . It was so full equipped. And I think that the owner has an amazing idea of decoration .
If I would visit the Old Town of Dubrovnik again it would be my first choice . I don’t understand why this apartment has bad comments . I really loved it . Well I loved everything but the only problem for some people who have problems could be that it has many stairs .
- Rubaiya (10/5): We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment. Would absolutely recommend if you want a comfortable place in a great l - The apartment was very good value for money , in a great location, exceptionally beautiful and equipped with everything that you can think of. The staff were very helpful. Nothing
- Stu (10/5): If you don't book this property you'll regret it! - The apartment was perfect.
Roomy, light, all mod cons and super easy to get to.
Incredible views of the city.
The check-in was incredibly easy thanks to the excellent staff at their office
- Giorgiana (9/5): Superb - Location That was very noise - hammer noises each early morning
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
