- Nastya Why Not (8/5): A quiet and super well-connected place to explore Rome, we felt lucky to find it - We stayed in a lovely room right next to Porta Maggiore, which turned out to be one of the biggest tram hubs in all of Rome. If you’re a tourist trying to explore the city, this location is a gem: you can easily reach the Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, parks, the airport, or the train station, everything is super accessible.
The place felt peaceful and private, with a small balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard, perfect for a glass of wine or a smoke in the evening. There were shutters as well as A/C, so you could open the doors without letting in the heat. The bathroom was clean and worked well, we had one small issue with the shower drain on arrival, but it was sorted quickly.
We originally booked this spot very last-minute because our previous reservation was suddenly canceled: and we ended up liking it so much that we extended our stay for a whole week! The A/C worked great, self-check-in was smooth and clear, the locks and doors were easy to use, and communication with the host was fast and friendly.
There was also a small fridge in the room, and daily cleaning service was included, which we appreciated since we stayed longer. If you’re traveling by car like we were, there’s street parking nearby and a machine where you can easily pay. There are also great local restaurants around, and two grocery stores just steps away for anything you might need. The room could definitely use a few more power outlets: with phones, watches, and other devices, we had to get a bit creative. There’s no kitchen, which is fine, but some basic items like mugs and a small knife would’ve made things easier. You can buy those across the street if needed, but it would be a thoughtful gesture for the host to provide a couple by default. Also, the mini fridge was quite noisy, we ended up unplugging it at night. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of
- Yingtzu (8/5): Pleasant and worth the price - Everything is new and clean The bathtub didn’t work
- Yingtzu (5/5): Passable -
- Mariam (8/5): Very good -
- Ioannou (7/5): Good - Modern, clean, very polite staff , easy to check in check out Not a very good location (not close to the monuments) and a little noisy from the train outside
- Stefan (7/5): Good - Location Creaking the bed at the slightest turn during the night
- Daniel (6/5): Not a good cost x benefit. - Communication with staff was easy and straightforward. Staff quick and kindly answered my requests. Room and bathroom were clean. The neighborhood is dirty, filled with homeless people, illegal immigrants, far from points os interest (one hour walk to Fontana di Trevi , 40-minute walk to Colosseum), and not as close to the train station as I innitially thought (impossible to reach by foot with my luggage). The guesthouse does not offer a kitchen, silverware or other basic facilities. Just one room, a bathroom, and a functional but slow internet connection. I only had towels changed in a ten-days time once, because I asked. They let me run out of toilet paper and soap, although quickly addressed it when contacted. Something in the room made my respiratory allergies run wild, althought it seems clean.
- Tena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marija (6/5): Pleasant -
- Μάριος (7/5): Good -
- Egle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - Easy communication with staff via WhatsApp at any time.
Bus stop to Colesseo only 3min by walk.
- Ronaldo (5/5): Passable - The room was modern and nice just like the photo.
Was not very close to the turist attraction (30min walk) I would recommend you to stay 2-3 days maximum because they dont clean the room everyday only the day that you have the check in also have a fee if you want new towels
- Henry (4/5): Moderate - Weather was friendly I did not like the noise coming from the passing vehicles throughout the nights
- Nikos (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and overall very comfortable
- Balogh (8/5): Very good -
- Vahagn (10/5): I recommend this guesthouse - The apartment was very clean and beautiful with all the necessary amenities, jacuzzi, bidet, etc. The staff was very helpful. I do recommend this guesthouse.
- Ariam (7/5): Good - Location are good stead. Bed are not comfortable ,pain back because of beds. and room cleaner so bade. After in the room does not got any help to clean.
- Aliaksandr (10/5): Exceptional - Nice place and close to the train station, terrace exit from the room, clean and tidy, shops nearby and cafe WiFi connection is unstable
- Ray (8/5): Very good -
- Karookie (8/5): Very good - Close to the public transportation, good AC, walking distance to Colloseum and other tourist spots. Missing iron, some cutlery and glasses. Also we got only two tiny bottles of shower gel/shampoo for 8 day stay for 2 people.
- Mario (4/5): Disappointing - Wasn’t expecting being put in the basement, -1, with a lot of humidity, and moisture starting to appear on the walls during our stay
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (7/5): A good stay but could easily be improved further - Jacuzzi bath is lovely and the apartment is very spacious. The apartment would really benefit from a kettle, coffee, cups and perhaps some plates and cutlery. It is also on the top floor with no lift.
- Mihai (3/5): Poor - Nothing
- Giorgia (9/5): Brilliant! Would book again - Exactly as advertised in the pictures. The room was gorgeous and super clean, very private and spacious with big en suite bathroom. The shower was very good, brilliant water pressure. Also the art on the bedroom wall was very beautiful.
The location is great! About 10mins from San Giovanni and 10mins from the underground metro A, as well as a tram station right in front of the property - this makes it really easy to visit the city by transport and also by foot! Hosts were very professional and polite.
There’s a corner store right across the street and a grocery store about 5-10mins by walk. The property is also close to Fassi, historical gelato shop!
- Zvi (10/5): Exceptional - The cleanliness, the service. The price
