Guest Reviews
10 a 15 minutos a pie.
- HarleyBeex (6/5): VERY reasonable price for what you get - Cosy, good size, clear instructions from the host. Comfy furniture, lovely view from terrace, amazing amount of sunlight as apartment is south facing More just pre-warning for future guests rather than complaining:
The apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift/elevator, the stairs are no more than 2.5-3ft wide and they're steep and spiral upward; when taking your case(s) up there isn't really a chance to stop and catch your breath, you're sort of forced to just keep going until you reach the top.
There wasn't a lot in the kitchen, had to use one of the hand towels from the bathroom as an oven mitt and to dry the dishes as there were no tea-towels; there aren't any oven trays, plenty of pans and pots though; there's only a fish slice, one serving spoon and a sharp knife in terms of utensils - no scissors, wooden spoons, etc; there's only one cupboard - under the sink - which is full with cleaning supplies, crockery and the pots/pans, so there isn't any storage for food other than the small fridge/freezer, cutlery is in a pot on a shelf, not in a drawer.
There's a pretty noticeable stain on the sofa - and I won't lie it looks like it could be from something "unsavoury" if you catch my drift, which was a little gross.
Most of the holes on the rainfall shower head don't work, the ones that do work squirt out at in all different directions, so you need to use the handheld shower head, which has pretty poor water pressure.
There's an airer/dryer on the terrace but there's no means to wash clothes in the apartment so that was just a bit strange really.
I also received a message from the host on the final morning asking me to confirm what time I would be checking out as the cleaner was due to arrive at 10am, which just felt a bit like I was being rushed out; check out wasn't supposed to be until 10am, but the cleaner and myself wouldn't have been able to pass each other on the stairs had we crossed paths, so I ended up leaving earlier than I wanted to.

- DENIS1888 (9/5): London Weekend - Property was located in a lovley area with easy access to the rest of the city via quick walks to hampstead underground or frognal and finchley overground both of which have great access to Camden town.
The Turkish restaurant down the stairs from the Property was also a highlight with wonderful food and lovely staff.
The flat itself was perfect as the couch pulls down into a small sofa bed that was very comfy with the bedroom being very nice aswell
The bathroom was clean and orderly
The kitchenette was perfect for a handful of days in London would recommend while heartedly
With a host that communicated the situation very well
- Penelope (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): Fabulous, when can I come back? - Perfect location with excellent transport links in a lovely part of London with great local shops, bars, places to eat.
Lovely flat with stunning views.
V clean and spacious by London standards. Nothing really, staircase to flat was narrow and steep - would not suit someone with limited mobility.
- Simon (9/5): Wonderful location and facility and I would definitely stay here again. - Bright, light and airy. Balcony and views were sensational. Facilities were generally great. Bed was very comfy, and great commication from the host. Just missing a few little items that would have made it perfect, such as a bottle opener (had to buy my own), scissors, a colander to drain pasta, and tongs. A microwave would be a great addition. There were no tea towels or oven mittens so I had to use a bath towel for drying dishes and handling hot items. The TV remote stopped working during my stay so couldn’t watch TV, and the ceiling window in bedroom really needs a blind over it, because you wake up when the sun comes up, which was before 6am so you can’t sleep in. I also bashed my head on the ceiling in the very steep stairwell a few times, but not much can be done about that, but the handrail was transparent and hard to see - would suggest fixing that.
- Liz (6/5): Pleasant - The skylight in the bedroom needs a blind on it and the occupant below is definitely smoking something potent as the smell was strong - bit off putting if that is not your thing
- Lee (7/5): Good value and good for what we needed. - The outside space was a bonus Lack of hooks to hang anything particularly in the bathroom
- Rosa (9/5): Superb - I liked having a fridge and a clean bed, towels etc, the hairdryer was also good to have. The stairs are very steep and could be dangerous, but that's not really something you can change, the tv remote wouldn't work so that wasn't nice, we think it might have been because of the batteries
- Fraser (7/5): Stairway to the skies. - Lovely, comfortable flat and good value for money .
The outdoor terrace and views were amazing. I was disapointed that the TV didn't work and despite complaining it didn't get fixed.
The 3 flights of access stairs were very steep and could be difficult for some people.
- Cyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keerthana (10/5): Exceptional - a few unwashed dishes and food stench
- Sina (9/5): We would absolutely stay in this flat again! The cost-benefit ratio and location are unbeatable. - We really liked the neighborhood. It’s super safe and there are supermarkets, shops, great restaurants and cozy bars nearby. You can also walk/ drive to Hempstead Heath, a great park not far away from the flat. It is easy to go everywhere because there are several bus, overground and underground stations right around the corner. So you’re basically in the city center without all the bustle and noise.
The flat is quite small but the great few from the pretty big balcony makes up for that! As we are friends, we did not want to share the bedroom but that was not a problem at all. The host provided us an additional bedding the same day we asked for it so one of us could sleep on the sofa bed. The water pressure in the shower is quite low and if you want to cook, you better bring some sharp knives and spices. Also bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper because the walls are pretty thin and you can here the people living beneath.
- Tal (6/5): Pleasant -
- Clare (9/5): Top clean well equipped flat with great balcony - Everything was spotlessly clean, handy kitchenette and large shower thank you. Bottles of water a nice touch. Loved balcony too! Would highly recommend and stay there ourselves again. Would only suggest a mirror outside of the bathroom to be able to see while blow drying hair.
- Niels (9/5): Great stay. Clean and lovely apartment with comfortable bed and lovely terrace. - Clean and comfortable apartment.
- Evelyn (7/5): Good -
- Liza (9/5): Superb -
