Guest Reviews
- suzanne (9/5): Only 1 night, we wish it was longer, great place to easily navigate through Roma! - The terrace was exceptional, the location superb the living quarters quaint and comfortable. I wouldn’t say there is anything I didn’t like, but there was a little mustiness in the bathroom

- Anita (9/5): -
- Alice Carreiro (7/5): - localização boa. A acomodação possui um belo terraço
- Schatz (10/5): -

- Day (8/5): Very cosy little studio in the heart of monti - Great to have your own little retreat. Roof top terrace was fantastic to have a drink after a long days exploring snd location in Monti is great to access the coliseum, forum, palatine hill and termini (15 min walk with luggage) It is very small so if you have large suitcases, hard to layout
- Gaia (8/5): -
- Janine (10/5): Solo in Rome - Location and coziness. Solo traveller i felt quite safe and host very responsive. I loved the terrace. Alittle noise off the street but nothing too loud
- Vadim (9/5): - Location and privacy
- Yusuke (7/5): Great location, not good for sleeping. - The location is great. Close to restaurants and bars and transportation. You can hear every person walking by and the noise from cars. Not for light sleepers.
- Michal (10/5): - In its category, the apartment is excellent

- Roisin_g (8/5): Great location! - Fabulous location and accommodating host with great communication! We enjoyed relaxing with beers in the sunshine on the terrace and being walking distance from all the main sites and attractions. The bathroom was a bit damp with some mould and drain flies. FYI: It's very noisy at night due to the central location..
- Johnny (6/5): Ok for 1 night - Location was ok and it did have everything you need for 1 night away. There is damp in the bathroom and you can see it spreading to living area. All open plan and you can hear people and bin lorries outside. Rooftop terrace was cute but ladder was quite scary.
- Geoff (10/5): When in Rome, have a roof garden! - Amazing to have an apartment with a roof garden at this price in the heart of Rome. Do be aware that the roof garden is accessed by a near vertical ladder so if you don't like heights or have mobility issues give it a miss! We loved it and with good weather it was a joy to retire to a bit of peaceful space after a heavy day's sightseeing. All facilities were good and shops nearby for supplies. Nothing.
- Rory (7/5): Cute house, great location, do not expect to sleep! - The location was superb. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Very close to some major attractions like the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore and the Colosseum, and shopping nearby on Via Nazionale. The rooftop terrace is nice. The house is well equipped with fridge, washing machine, iron, etc and there is a great shower there. The owner was very accomodating with regards to check-in and check-out times. The house is very small and the walls of the house are paper-thin, it is almost impossible to get sleep at nighttime. It is adjacent to the rear of a hotel and between the sound of bottles and refuse being collected coupled with the sound of constuction work and traffic passing, we were very tired from the lack of sleep. At one stage I thought a car was actually going to drive onto my pillow. Overall it gets a generous 7/10 because of the location primarily but the owner should really consider trying to soundproof the house if possible.
- Annandale (9/5): Superb - Excellent location
Small, but well designed and equipped.
- Kyle (8/5): Very good -
- Janey (8/5): A great little place for a one or 2 night stay - Location excellent for touring the city. Has a great little terrace, though didn't stay long enough to make the most if it. The host was very accommodating when we needed to drop luggage early and hold at the end of our stay. Fully equipped with all we needed. Great neighborhood with local cafes and shops. A nice vibe. Great communication with the host. I would recommend this place for an affordable stay in the heart of Rome House is right on the road, so there is a traffic noise and bin men in the morning, but nothing a pair of earplugs wouldn't solve.
The terrace table was very dirty and could do with a clean before arrival
- Earl (8/5): Wonderful location and value for money. - The location was wonderful. The roof top terrace was was great. Very noisy throughout the night when sleeping
- Simone (10/5): Fantastic property in a perfect location - Everything. It was a lovely property, the owner has thought of everything. It was clean, the roof terrace was beautiful. The location was perfect with a rooftop bar located at the end of the road. Slippers and fridge souvenir provided were a very thoughtful touch. We loved it so much we booked again Nothing
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (8/5): Perfect for Rome - This little apartment is in such a good location! Close to major sites, with lots of cool bars and restaurants around!
The apartment is small but has everything you need (FYI, the washing machine is on the terrace in case you can't find it!) Just an FYI, the road outside the apartment can get noisy at night so take some ear plugs if you're not a heavy sleeper.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (7/5): Good -
- Lorna (9/5): Superb - The apartment is close a lot of attractions.
Also close to a lot of really good restaurants.
It was quiet.
- Judy (6/5): Pleasant - The location is fantastic and close to all major sites. The flat had everything that is needed for a stay and is air conditioned . The terrace is a unique feature. The bedding and pillows could be better quality. The property is very noisy as the bed is at ground level on a corner on the street where there was traffic day and night. As the flat is so small there was nowhere to put suitcases or to relax. The property may suit younger people better although it is comparatively expensive.
- Toni (7/5): Good - The property is in walking proximity to all major landmarks. Loved the balcony and the fact that there was a washing machine.
The town of Monti is wonderful with so many restaurants and bars to explore. The property was not very clean. The floor looked like it had just been mopped over with dirty water and your feet got dirty when walking from the bathroom to the bed.
The terrace was very dirty/dusty.
- Jessica (10/5): Perfection! Central location, beautiful place and everything you could need for a short stay. - Perfect location, clean, comfortable and everything we could possibly have needed. Hosts were fantastic, so friendly and helpful!
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, wonderful terrace. In its range, the apartment meets all expectations. Very good contact with the owner, who is really helpful.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (8/5): This was a very central location to tour Rome. The rooftop terrace was an oasis in the city. - We loved the rooftop terrace and the central location. The kitchen could use updating. The dishwasher didn't work.
- Renate (10/5): Perfect - The location was perfect. Near everything I wanted to walk to, near a Metro station, near shops and restaurants BUT not on a busy street where many people walk.
I was amazed at how well the house is designed. Small but with every convenience one could hope for. The roof terrace is, of course, a welcome bonus.
The hosts are friendly and accoodating.
I would recomend this house to anybody looking to be away from the tourists. They were renovating the building accross the street which made for lots of dust and noise when they were cutting or sanding. This, of course, will soon be over
- Hester (9/5): Superb - This is a lovely small place that has everything we needed for a few nights in Rome. Well-equipped kitchen, good bathroom and wonderful, not much overlooked roof terrace (but difficult stairs to climb). It is in an excellent location: Monti is a lovely area, a bit hipster/bohemian with lots of bars and restaurants and walking distance to both Colosseum (15 minutes), and Trevi fountain/Pantheon (10/12 minutes). The building opposite is being renovated at the moment, which means that builders start rummaging around a large skip at 6/7 in the morning. So do not expect to sleep in. But I suppose one does not go to the Eternal City to sleep in anyway ;) The road is cobbled and when a car drives past, it is like it almost drives over your pillow when you're in bed. It's is a very noisy place, so bring noise canceling ear plugs. The area makes up for a LOT, though! The roof terrace is only reachable for people who are able-bodied. The steps up are steep and treacherous and you have to essentially climb through a hole in the ceiling, so be aware of this! We loved it, though.
- Gábor (8/5): We want to try it again on summer! :-) - Very cosy self-contained apartment in the centre of Rome. The Colosseum is about 10 minutes, Trevi Fountain 15 minutes, Spanish Steps 20 minutes on foot. Large roof terrace with large dining table, parasol, barbecue, nice green plants and hedges all around. The climb up the steep stairs is a bit adventurous (more like a ladder), so it's quite difficult to carry things up and down for eating and drinking, but the atmosphere makes up for it. There is a well-stocked supermarket (PAM local), a few restaurants and bakeries (within 3-500 metres) close to the apartment. The heating is air-conditioned, it was quite difficult to heat the apartment. Overall we liked the apartment very much, the landlords are nice and helpful. Probably typical for the winter months, due to little ventilation and lack of continuous heating, there is a musty smell in the apartment and the shower stall and floor cleanliness is not satisfactory. Would be nice to replace the bed and mattress, it is bit uncomfortable.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Angelos (10/5): Would stay again in my next visit - Great Cozy house with beautiful terrace in the heart of rome. 5 minutes walk to to Colosseo
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional - In its category the apartment is excellent. Perfect location, terrace, very nice and helpful owner.
- Callum (10/5): Exceptional -
- Balázs (10/5): Exceptional - This was simple the most amazing accomodation I could find in Rome. Will definitely stay here again.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location close to all the attractions of Rome. Can walk to the colosseum or the Vatican. Tidy well organised place. Sunlight let into the room made it hard to sleep in when needed.
- Matt (10/5): Excellent apartment with wonderful hosts - Great location, comfy and cute apartment, super attentive hosts The building opposite is under construction. Didn’t bother us and couldn’t hear it at all, but just in case you’re booking for something really special
- Emilia (10/5): Amazing place - Great spot! The location and the terrace are amazing. Especially evenings are pleasant to be there to enjoy the atmosphere of the city.
The apartment is clean and well equipped. The owner and staff are also very helpful.
- Fanni (5/5): Ok - Location was great. Terrace was big and stunning, unfortunately on our stay it was raining and we could not enjoy the terrace. Kitchen was nice. Size of the room was very small. Bed was unconfortable. The apartment is located ground floor on the street level and we could hear all the noises from the street.
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional -
