Guest Reviews
- Antonia (10/5): Amazing - Everything Nothing
- Jeremy (7/5): Nice apartment - excellent location. - Location It smelt very strongly of cleaning products especially in the bedroom.
- Ruby (5/5): -
- Ahmed (10/5): It was a great and smooth stay. Will come back if I stay around that area. - Nice view and easy access NA

- Stuart (10/5): Great flat in a great location at an affordable price, with friendly hosts! - It is a beautiful apartment. I almost didn't book it because of the negative recent reviews, but because it was the only place within budget with cooking facilities and parking, both of which are essential for me, I decided just to book it anyway and take the risk and I'm glad I did.
Don't get me wrong, the few bits people were nitpicking at were very much a thing, but they didn't warrant such low reviews and they certainly didn't ruin my stay. I do think these things should be fixed but I would still highly recommend the place. For the price, it's brilliant.
The hosts are very friendly and responsive and all instructions were clear. The flat has everything you need, and the neighbours aren't noisy either. I do often avoid flats and hotels when staying away due to noisy neighbours, but thankfully it wasn't an issue.
Even the security team are very friendly and chatty, and you can rest assured that your vehicle is safe and secure.
Highly recommend, will definitely re-book in the future if it is available. The shower does need fixing, but still works and unlike what the other review said, the shower head can be placed so that you don't need to hold it. The only issue is that you need to bend forward to wash your hair because it can't be raised, but it's fairly high up anyway. As someone who is 6'3" I had no issue, it's a minor thing.
The bed does need some new fittings because the right hand side (as you're facing the bed) has a few missing so when you turn over when you're sleeping on that side, it does collapse a bit. They can be balanced back on but this should be addressed. Since I was staying alone, I slept on the other side and it was fine.
Those are the only two issues but I didn't feel like these two things alone were enough to warrant a lower review.
- Clàudia (1/5): Overall, the apartment needs several repairs and improvements before it can be properly advertised as suitable for guest - The location What we liked the least about the apartment was the comfort, especially when it came to sleeping. The only bedroom has a bed that is very small and uncomfortable for an apartment advertised for four people. The other bed was a sofa bed located in the living/dining area, and it was in very poor condition: the extra part used to turn it into a bed would separate from the sofa, making it unstable and very uncomfortable to sleep on.
In addition, while we were sleeping in the main bedroom, one of the wardrobe doors—which was already in poor condition—came loose on its own and fell right next to the bed, without us touching it. This was a very dangerous situation, as it could have caused serious injury.
Finally, the shower was also in poor condition: the shower head holder was broken, so the shower head could not be placed properly and had to be held by hand.

- Rob (9/5): Great location and comfortable apartment! - Great location and not far from the station. Amazing to be by the canal and very comfortable facilities. Shower was broken so had to hold it for it to stay up and floor was slightly damaged from previous occupants moving the coffee table.
- Fahima (8/5): We loved it here - The space was really clean and really pretty and the hosts were really accommodating. Some bits of the place are falling apart for example the liner on the kitchen cabinets,
- Uzma (7/5): -
- Fionn (6/5): Obviously someone who wants to mae - Enough space No coat hangers or outside light. Had to unlock/lock the door with my iPhone torch. Heating was too high. Extractor fan in shower room didn’t work.
- Julia (4/5): Broken bed, in need of a lot of TLC - Location quiet backing on to canal Boiler off when we arrived so no hot water.
Bed broken so mattress literally went through the frame when we sat on the bed. The bed slats are missing the locating caps so just balanced.
No curtains or blinds in bedroom.
No coat hangers in wardrobe.
Curtains missing in lounge.
Kitchen in need of an update.
Shower bracket broken.
To many empty picture hooks without pictures.
The photos were obviously taken a while ago as they do not reflect the current state of the property
- Edward (1/5): Unclean apartment - Location
Peaceful
Outlook Appt had not been cleaned. We had to wait in the squalor until 8pm until it was prepared. Showerhead, toaster and TV all had issues. We contacted management several times that day and the next. He promised a maintenance man was coming but in time of stay did not come. Also full length blind to balcony filthy and had no chain to open. The balcony has rotten boards and felt unsafe
The main bedroom bed base collapsed in the night I rectified it as best I could but happened again 2nd. night. There was only one person in the bed. All in all this would be the worst experience I have ever had to pay for
- Calum (8/5): Great for location and facilities - flat needs some TLC. - The location and facilities are perfect for London. Gated free parking is a massive bonus. Plenty of room for self catering. The balcony and view was lovely. The state of the place was not quite as advertised. It was much more run down than we expected. The shower holder/fixing was broken and kept falling. The cupboard doors were very worn too.
The place wasn't completely clean either, general stains, all the glasses and mugs had black specs in them. The left living room blinds didn't have a pulley to open and close, and the bedroom blinds were completely detached.
- Amaira (5/5): - Cleanness, broken tv and other things, dirty curtain in living room, no blinds in bedroom so sunlight shines through. Consider elsewhere please!
- Claire (9/5): Clean, spacious property, perfect for couples, families and friends. - Spacious, comfortable and clean. Shower head wouldn’t always stay up
- Jimmy (8/5): - The location The TV wasn't in the best working order.
No big issue though.
- Pavel (5/5): - předání klíčů a super komunikace plíseň v koupelně, stará kuchyň, rozbitý balkon - celkově potřebuje byt rekonstrukci
- Ionut (4/5): Very disappointed, stay away from this apartment if you don’t want to have an unpleasant stay - Location is ok , 20 min from center with car or Uber, parking and 24h security Number of maintenance issues that are easily
repairable but haven't been done for long time , I been looking at the reviews with many months before I rent and apartment is in the same bad conditions, somebody has to do something and stop the owner renting this apartment before will fix the issues . In pictures everything looks new and is not like that , is not acceptable to pay for something you don’t get , very disappointing to be there with my family including small kids and get stuck on an apartment very worn out .
1. Broken window handle in bathroom - therefore couldn't shut the window.
2. Sealant round shower very moldy needing replaced as it is dirty & coming away. Plus dampness / water stains on bathroom ceiling
3. Light out at doorway we had to use phone light to open & lock door.
4. Piece of decking on balcony broken hazard for kids and not only .
5. Kitchen cupboard door, washing machine door & kitchen worktop - masking tape being used to cover holes & damage. This takes away from the presentation of the apartment.
6. The living room rug is a safety issue as it curls up at the edges & is a trip hazard.
7. Linen for sofa bed complete worn out with big hole on
8. Bathroom towels funny smelly, be aware
9. Sofa bed very close to the center coffee table makes almost impossible to walk around the living room
10.Broken blinds in the living room and kitchen, wall damaged next to the sofa
11.No screen for mosquitos , no air conditioning, no ventilation at all in the apartment
12. Tv not working, I have lots of pictures but I’m not allowed to upload just 4

- Daniel (6/5): Overall, this flat has lots of potential and a great location, but it really needs a bit of TLC and some small improveme - We stayed in this flat for a few days on a family trip to London. Overall, the location was fantastic — really well connected for buses and the tube (though the tube was very hot in summer!), and the surrounding area felt safe and friendly. We especially loved taking the kids to Kensington Memorial Splash Park, which was an unexpected highlight and within walking distance.
The free gated parking was a big bonus, and the guards at the gate were really friendly and helpful — they definitely made us feel welcome. The riverside setting and balcony were lovely for having a quiet morning coffee. However, the flat itself could do with some attention. The blind in the bedroom had fallen down and we had to fix it ourselves as best we could just to block out the light. In the living/dining area, one of the blinds was missing a chain so we had to roll it up and down manually. The TV didn’t work properly either — the screen was covered in lines and there was no Freeview signal, so we had to rely on BBC iPlayer but the internet connection was patchy.
There was an espresso machine but no pods provided, which was a shame, and no milk for tea either. A few bits were broken — the cupboard doors near the washing machine and above it need fixing, and the strip light in the bathroom flickered and never really came on properly.
One evening there was quite a loud party opposite the flat that went on until around 11pm. It was fine with the doors closed, but the flat was so warm that it was uncomfortable keeping them shut all night.
Security-wise, the gated parking was great but it was concerning that the entrance gate and front door to the apartment block didn’t lock and required no access key.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Warren (7/5): Convenient for a short stay with the car in central London. - Convenient, good location and off street secure parking Little bit run down apartment but fine for the location.
- Matthew (7/5): Great location, lovely balcony. Needs a bit of TLC for top marks. - Lovely views. Car parking and security fantastic. Check in easy. Some tired features, units, decking and TV damaged. Considering the price not expensive fixes to put right.
- Joanne (10/5): Quiet, relaxing location, even though only 15 mins walk from Portobello Market and Ladbroke Grove. - The balcony was lovely and allowed a relaxing view over the canal. Good kitchen which enabled us to have breakfast, and keep evening drinks and snacks cold. Good shower with plentiful supply of hot water. Comfortable beds; both the bedroom and the sofa bed were super. Private allocated car parking space was one of the main reasons for booking, with the added bonus of 24 hour security too. Good wifi, TV, books and games. Nothing.
- Paige (8/5): Very good - Location is great, gated parking with a security guard included gives peace of mind. Reasonable walk to nearest underground stations with a large Sainsbury’s supermarket round the corner. Accommodation was a little tired, some damaged cupboards in the kitchen but only cosmetic. One blind in the living room needed to be wound by hand. But incredible value for money based on location!
- Anietie (10/5): Pace setter in comfort! - The property is well maintained and located near stores and eateries The cleanliness of the property, friendliness and professionalism of the security staff
- Jen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for getting a bus to central London, walking distance to portobello rd market. Fantastic to have secure free parking. Very helpful host too.
- Erbil (1/5): Bad -
- Mariana (10/5): Exceptional - Great appartment, has everything you need for a stay in London. Clean, warm and cozy.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Phillip (8/5): Very good - Location & Secure Parking Bed linen cheep, unironed very creased, needs a little DIY around the kitchen etc no Tin opener
- Cp (10/5): Excellent property with good views and in a safe gated locality - Excellent property that is maintained well and offers fantastic views. Very safe due to the property being within a gated setup.
Easy to travel to central london Na
- Jacqueline (7/5): Minor maintenance issues but clean, secure & good location for walk to Notting Hill. - Good location. Secure & clean. Number of small maintenance issues that are easily repairable but haven’t been done.
1. Broken window handle in bathroom - therefore couldn’t shut the window.
2. Sealant round shower door needing replaced as it is dirty & coming away. Plus dampness / water stains on bathroom ceiling.
3. Light out at doorway (simple bulb replacement) which meant we had to use phone torch for light to open & lock door.
4. Piece of decking on balcony broken.
5. Kitchen cupboard door, washing machine door & kitchen worktop - masking tape being used to cover holes & damage. This takes away from the presentation of the apartment.
6. The living room rug is a safety issue as it curls up at the edges & is a trip hazard.
7. Linen for sofa bed in the storage area under sofa is dirty but we were able to use the spare pillows, duvet & sheet that was in the bedroom wardrobe.
- Carlo (8/5): Very good - Property was clean and organised. Well-ventilated and safe. Location is far from central london attractions.
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Indiasr (9/5): Superb -
- Parisa (9/5): Superb -
- Natalia (9/5): Great, would definitely come back and recommend - Great value, location, apt comfy quiet and private, nice view and balcony. Had everything that was needed, kitchen was very well equipped and clean incl cheese graters, oven trays, basic seasoning, oil and enough coffee for the stay. If anything then I'd say one lounge blind was missing a cord (but still functioning) and could do with some pics on the wall :)
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Location was brilliant
Security guys was very friendly
Very nice looking over the canal nice to see Geese and swans in London The bed was comfortable.
Really.Nice to have a deck that you can go onto The duvet is very thin. The window handles could do with tightening up as there was loose. The kitchen looks a little bit tired.Do with some new dollars.
And there was no bottle opener.
Apart from that really nice
- Nittaya (9/5): Superb -
- Angie (10/5): Perfectly enjoyable stay with canal view - Well equipped property with everything you need, board games were a welcome bonus for entertainment in the evening with a beautiful balcony over looking the canal, to enjoy a relaxing Saturday evening. A healthy walk into Portobello Road, supermarket a few minutes down the road. Parking also a welcome bonus! Perfectly enjoyable stay and would come again! Nothing
- Sunny (10/5): Exceptional -
