• kazan (10/5): Rekommenderar detta hotellet stärk. Jätte fint rent hotell men vänlig personal. - Hotellet låg mitt i centrala Tirana, omgiven av restauranger, butiker och ett stort supermarket. Städning skedde dagligen. Vi bodde i en stor, fin rum med flera rum, vilket var perfekt eftersom vi var tre familjer som reste tillsammans. Det är bra att känna till att hotellet saknar både reception och restaurang. Däremot finns det gott om restauranger i området runt hotellet. Vid ankomst möts du upp av personalen, som är tillgängliga dygnet runt via WhatsApp. De svarar snabbt vid frågor eller problem och erbjuder dessutom kostnadsfri hjälp med att hitta runt i Tirana. Personalen är mycket hjälpsam och vänlig.

• Joel (9/5): Not a hotel, but recommendable out of center stay. - New, clean, efficient. With hot shower, good wifi, AC, fridge, a balcony, a supermarket downstairs, sufficient eateries around and an invisible but responsive host. Just so you know: it's not a hotel. So a taxi driver could not help you to find it. (Because my sim-card didn't work, the taxi driver called and I waited 5 minutes in front of the Eco Market supermarket to be met by a friendly key holder.) In my case it were three well designed independent rooms behind a code protected apartment door on floor 9, with an amazing view over the city. Guests and cleaning lady entering and leaving the apartment can disturb the quietness a bit. The city center is more than 2km away from the center. Enjoy the walk along a busy street, try a bus or take a taxi. The minimum of 350 Lek easily gets you in the center. Backpackers travelling by bus will have to know that both the East and the North/South bus terminal are NOT on a walking distance; Tirana is bigger than you would expect.
