Guest Reviews
- Beth (4/5): Average at best! Will never ever say here again - The view and the staff from “The One” That I thought I was booking a disability accessible apartment. It is NOT! I that is what I searched for then when I asked to change it they wanted to charge me almost $600 to change the booking!
The bed is so low to the ground anyone with mobility issues cannot use it.
This is in no way a luxury apartment!
Didn’t get my keys till 3:30 and the only thing they did to compensate me was a late check out! A waste of money I should have paid slightly extra and stayed next door at the W!
- Brad (3/5): For nearly $300 a night with no parking then the $125 cost of parking puts this place into the ridiculous price range if - Location Parking is on the page but there is no parking and it cost $125 for parking
- Margaret janace (10/5): I enjoyed my stay, comfortable and very quiet and private.very good location - A plug for sinks & cutlery container for dishwasher
- LAU (3/5): not satisfied - No Proper instruction given where to collect the key and the host not really helping after office hours. This is not easy for oversea people and also no car park allocated. We have to pay high cost for car park
- Stefani (10/5): -

- Eli (7/5): Clean property in good location - Good location, clean and well maintained property and amazing views. Nice and spacious and easy to transport and CBD. The keys were extremely difficult to get as padlock didnt work and had to wait for spare keys, the check in process wasnt organised well and no one picked up the phone for awhile. The bedroom blinds weren’t fitted well so light streams in and wakes u up early
- RACHEL (7/5): - Gaining access to the apartment was a nightmare. It was not obvious where the lock box for the keys was located and I had to ask the building manager for help. Although not his responsibility he arranged for someone to bring the key to me. I was definitely not impressed with this aspect of my booking
- Simo77 (6/5): The apartment was nice but the stay could've been much nicer with a few little improvements - Good location Host didn't send information on how to collect keys. Front desk staff were rude. No milk in the fridge. There was a big gap in the blinds which let lots of light in.
- Melisa (4/5): Not worth the money … better places for the same price and similar location. - Location was great. Room was clean. There are a number of things I did not like and these have been expressed to the property managers:
* the key pick up - not close enough to the property and down a few steps and a driveway. I had a heavy suitcase that I had to drag with me to key pick up as you can’t access the property without the swipe.
* no where to pull up your car close to the property to unload luggage.
* only 2 key provided … very difficult when both people staying are going seperate ways. I was told afterwards I could have requested a second key.
* just one very cheap thing bath towel per person.
* no pool towels provided and as this is a residential apartment there are no pool towels by the pool. People don’t travel with pool towels
* no spare blankets at all in the room … I’m winter a blanket is nice for watching television
* it took me asking three times about the return of my $300 security deposit, was told it had been done but after two weeks when I followed up yet again was told it had “bounced back to them” (which I do not believe) … finally got it back
All up I would not stay at this property again
- Yirki (4/5): GEEN aanrader. Mooi appartement. Slechte service. - Mooi appartement.
Hou u vast. 6 euro.
- Wang (1/5): Would not recommend. Scam - Good location. Terrible customer service. Asked to pay deposit to sketchy web link and a photo id to a random phone number. Vendor forgot to put key in lock box so waited an hour. Apartment itself was terrible - weird smell, stains and crumbs in the sofa and moldy carpet plus hair on the floor. Disgusting. Been 4 business days yet my deposit is still not back. “Luxury view” was only observable from a specific angle - windows faced adjacent high rise. Scam property.
- Marie (7/5): Ok - Great pool and communal area very clean and smelt lovely, apartment clean, great security. The building manager was so friendly the rest of the staff, though, were ordinary. Parking and access to building was so difficult , drains in apartment very smelly and the lounge suite was terrible very uncomfortable. We are in the hospitality business ourselves and found the signage in apartment unwelcoming, poor attention to detail in apartment e.g bedding incorrect size so dragged on the floor, tea and coffee etc unsealed in containers so unaware of expiry dates, no milk.
- Nurchayati Fitri (9/5): Easy to check in & check out, beautiful room, great location - Location & view
- Natasha (8/5): Very good - The view of the river at night.
Location to city. The bathroom toiletries. Large bottles that were open.
No complimentary milk. We arrived late and would have liked a cup of tea.
I called on arrival to ask a question about parking but my call was not answered. Otherwise, all communication seemed to be via txt msg, which was fine.
- Jannyne (8/5): Everything ! So nice . Lovely view. Heated pool and gym is great. Bed is so comfy. - Everything ! So nice . Lovely view. Heated pool and gym is great. Bed is so comfy. Steam room wasn’t working when we stayed .
- Kim (8/5): Great location, beautiful apartment clean and priced well - Great location and clean
- Dion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lotte (9/5): Overall a great stay - Fantastic location. Lovely apartment with great facilities, pool, sauna, gym, bars and cafes. Super comfy bed. Plenty of room in the apartment which is so much nicer than a hotel. Parking was complicated. Roadworks made it noisy and difficult to access the building. Restrictions on the different lifts in the garage and the buildings made it confusing. Fob not working.
- Martin (7/5): Nice apartment and good location - getting in and out a challenge! - Location was good and room was clean and comfortable. Complex good and secure. Views of river were nice. Overnight road works right outside were very disruptive and seem to have been going on for a while. Jackhammering through the night. Not the property’s fault but feel we should have been told and wasn’t the best to find this on arrival. Instructions to find and drop off keys are more like a TV show scavenger challenge than a smooth, easy experience.
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): An adventure of a lifetime - -The apartment was quiet.
-Staff were very friendly on the platform. Queries were responded to instantly- this created a sense of security just in case any help was needed.
- Check out process was awesome 👌 1) The smell coming from the sewage. On arrival I tried to close the toilet but that didn't help 🙃. Finally I had to buy an air freshener. This might not be unque to the apartment but the owner could do something to mitigate the awful odour coming from the toilet room as a result of the sewage.
2) Check in progress could be improved. It felt like so casual to go and pick a key from an extremely dodgy area nor worth of a luxury apartment. Can you imagine a a CEO going on a street to collect 😳 a hidden key? Certainly I am not a CEO, but the process got me thinking. NEVERTHELESS, the staff who responded to my key search worries was extremely helpful.
- Lee (9/5): Brisbane is a lovely city we enjoyed our stay. - Great view if the river & the city, good location close to restaurants & shops, galleries Cleaning staff only supplied 2 bath towels for a 6 night stay & no hand towels.
It has washing machine so we washed the towels we had but a spare set would have been good. A stick vacuum would also be a good idea, the carpets got dirty after 6 days.
- Thelma (6/5): Frustrating - Location The fact we spent almost an hour trying to get the lock to open. We’re in our 70’s and having to get down on the ground to find the right locked box is ridiculous it was not marked in a identifiable way.
There was more than one box. In the end the code was incorrect. We were literally kneeling on the pavement in the sun. We were emotionally and physically exhausted.
There was only one face cloth for 2 people.
Bedside light near the window wasn’t working.
The fan in the kitchen area didn’t work. We couldn’t find where to switch it on.
- Josh (7/5): Good -
- Raquel (8/5): Very good -
- Katarina (8/5): Amazing location and view! - The location was amazing and communication from the host was prompt, clear and friendly. Thankfully I was warned about the noise and light bedroom so I brought my own eye mask and ear plugs and slept great.
- Youngbin (8/5): Very good - Location and clearness Picking up keys was a little bit confusing. I wasn't allowed to do the short-term parking to pick up keys by W hotel staff at the beginning. They eventually let me park, but I had to leave my car key at the hotel front.
- Leeanne (8/5): A handy spot to stay and very clean. - Location was handy, views were lovely. We didn’t find the couch very comfortable and unfortunately there was loud road maintenance happening overnight which disturbed our sleep (not the owners fault of course)
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): A great good value central apartment - Location and unit. Beautiful newish building. Great pool (about 18 m long) and gym. Great views. 1. Key collection was a bit odd and would be challenging for irregular travellers. The lock box was one among many with nothing to indicate which was the correct one. I had to fumble through a few trying the pin until I eventually found the correct one.
2. There is quite a bit of traffic noise. I needed ear plugs which I always travel with. The ear plugs meant no noise
3. The blinds are privacy but don't block the light. So if like me you need darkness to sleep use an eye mask. And then it's fine
4. There is no coffee maker. Just a kettle so have some coffee bags. I would beg that the owners provide a plunger. They are as cheap as chips and better than coffee bags
- Henry (8/5): Very good - Excellent great views, bed was comfy, quiet. It looked clean upon arrival however the room was very dusty and looked like it wasn’t vacuumed.
- Mapiso (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lidden-verney (5/5): Not quality clean, wet carpet, hard to get key - Picking up the keys and the seperate vehicle card from lock boxes attached to a bicycle rack close to the facilities. Drop off was in a different location tho. Was pretty stressful. The carpet was soaking wet (had just been wet cleaned when we arrived). Room was pretty grotty, with hand marks on walls and fixtures, bathroom wasn't clean or beat and tidy (a rush clean without mopping the floor before arrived)
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Location
- Jennifer (4/5): Our stay was ok, but a few small changes would make a huge difference. - Convenient location, close to CBD, Queen St Mall & South Bank. Air conditioning was really good, probably the best we’ve ever had in any apartment! The view is lovely but unfortunately is obstructed by a whole glass section with small graphic dots on the outside of the window, not sure why this is there but it does take away from the view especially from where you sit on the lounge.
The lounge is not very comfortable with a very low back.
Sadly it was not a very peaceful stay, the windows don’t appear to be double glazed & you can hear traffic/city noise 24/7.
There is also extensive construction works across the road & nearby bridge which start early in the morning & continue late into the night. This would have been nice to know prior to making a booking.
There are no block out blinds, so it’s very light in the bedroom at night and made worse by a poorly hung blind that has a large gape off the window.
The crockery is not microwave safe so unable to use to reheat food. The glasses were too tall for the dishwasher causing one of them to break (we replaced with 4 matching smaller ones for the owner).
There are no pool towels so if you want use the pool, I recommend bringing your own towels as only one set of bath towels is supplied. There was no hand towel supplied for our stay. The shower screen is not very good & water saturates the one bath mat supplied with every shower, so we had to use the drier after every shower.
We stayed 5 nights & ran out of toilet paper by 4 days.
- Chen (9/5): Superb -
- Lucas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bree (4/5): Unwelcoming; not good for value. - Air conditioning & heater works well, residential facilities were easily accessible. First of all; the staff were not inviting at all. One blanket on the bed not even a sheet, no extra towels, no plug for the sink or dishwasher tablets, little crumbs were around the apartment especially in laundry cupboard (which I actually ended up cleaning myself).
When the owner was contacted for an extra blanket it took two and a half days to get back to me (stayed for 4 nights) which is absolutely ridiculous. In the end we never got it we just bought our own then left.
Not good value for money with all things considered. We would not recommend this stay.
- Georgina (9/5): Good location and nice view - The location was perfect. Close to everything and the view was very nice. Everything was very clean.
- Sonia (9/5): Great view - Beautiful room. Spectacular views and location. The guy on the desk was not very nice or helpful. However the fellow residents were.
- Mary (9/5): Definitely staying here again - Spotlessly clean. New and modern. Stunning view. Limited to 2pm check in. And no reception to hold my luggage so I had to wheel it around all day, or pay for a storage place.
Also, a lockbox around the corner from the entrance. I thought I was booking a hotel.
- Darren (7/5): room was lovely and plenty of space - The location was very central and suited for access to the theatre When I booked it wasn't clear that the booking was a Airbnb and when I arrived at the apartment I couldn't get into the reception at all.
I rang the contact number on my booking and it wasn't answered for over 4 hours.
I logged onto my InMail on booking . com to find a message on how to access the keys to get my room after getting worried I had been scammed.
- Gillian (10/5): Very comfortable accommodation in an excellent location! - The location of this accommodation is great, with spectacular views. Close to everything (in walking distance to great restaurants and bars). Nothing.
- Pania (7/5): Pleasant stay. Lovely room with good views. Bring your own coffee - I liked the view. I liked the simplistic modern style of the apartment. I liked the location. I liked the temperature control in the room. I loved the in-room laundry facilities. No parking available (at least not at a reasonable cost). The towels were brand new and water resistant. The bed only had a bottom sheet, and not a top sheet. There was only one blanket on the bed, and no spare just in case. The couch was very uncomfortable - no back support for those who need / like to sit upright. There was only 1 x toilet roll provided (and only a spare roll that had less than 1/4 paper left). There were no tea / coffee supplies. The door lock was a bit sticky and hard to unlock.
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francesco (10/5): fantastic - location and cleanliness nothing
- Jesse (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clinton (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location and a good view of the south bank Ferris wheel, it was a good view of an evening
