Drakcirmod (8/5): A nice airy 3br holiday home near Shaws Bay for the family. - The location was great, the size of the house was exactly as needed and we enjoyed the fresh air and the balcony chairs most. The towels were large and fluffy, the kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of beds. We would probably stay here again. The driveway is a bit of a nightmare to get out of safely and it took us a 6-point turn in a medium size car to turn around, in order to be able to drive out semi-safely. There really needs to be a traffic mirror installed and perhaps some trees to be cut back to make it safer to enter/exit the property. That wouldn't deter us from staying again though, but we wouldn't be able to get a car any bigger. The other thing to mention is the steep staircase. If our kids had been < 5yo we wouldn't have felt safe for them to use the stairs, which isn't ideal seeing as the kids bedroom is located upstairs and the King and Queen bedrooms are downstairs.
