Guest Reviews
- Victoria (10/5): Perfect and peaceful - The owner was fantastic to deal with, love the views and listening to the wildlife. Nothing
- D.p (10/5): Tiny yet, excellent! - We really enjoyed the stay at the tiny home. Max & Pete were really helpful. Clean, quiet & such a beautiful little place. Everything was in great condition. You can really enjoy nature & and the quiet environment away from the busy world. We will definitely visit again. đâ¤ď¸ Regretted booking for only 1 night . Nothing was wrong.

- David (9/5): Really enjoyed the stay location and facilities - Really enjoyed the property and our stay. Peaceful and well appointed. Didnât like the pillow and pillow covers. Clunky bathroom door.
- Darren (10/5): For what we wanted it was excellent secure and private - Location was a bit misleading on our behalf as there are 2 properties with similar names on the same street. The ocasional smell from the septic.
- Rylee (8/5): Overall a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay - Was a very cute little stay, amazing view, location was great, Loved the property The temperature of the shower water was a bit on the luke warm/colder side, the heat pump definitely needed to be turned up
Needed and extra pillow per person to sleep on as the single one provided was a bit flat
- Richard (7/5): Charming but chilly - Location on the hill
Lovely views first thing in the morning (kangaroos, frost on the ground)
Good, firm bed
Electric blankets Given the outside evening temperature was about 2°, we really needed some heating. We borrowed a small fan heater from a friend and turned off all unnecessary power. The fan still tripped the switchboard.
Tiny Home on a Hill is a charming space but probably best saved for warmer months.
- Sivasubramaniam (10/5): Exceptional - It was beautiful and scenic, the kangaroos, birds and sheep all around was lovely in the morning. Pete/Max was very accommodating. Would defintiely stay again! Only concession I has was that the only heating in the cabin is the electric blanket on the bed, the insulation is good, but it can make a colder night a bit rough sometimes. It is very cosy and nice though in bed. The hotwater was Luke warm also.
- John (8/5): Nice little place to stay for peace and quite. Thanks - N/A N/A

- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - The tiny home on the hill was beautifully presented. The outlook was amazing. My grandson would have liked a telly
- Michelle (10/5): A serene and relaxing spot to recharge! - We loved the tranquil location and the gorgeous outlook. The sheep were friendly and inquisitive, and the cottage contained everything that we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Max and Pete's hospitality was amazing, the home-grown wine was a bonus!
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (9/5): host easy to contact and helpful while providing a great rural experience. - country location, king size bed and very clean. no toaster, hot water unreliable
- Serene (3/5): great place if they fix the fly screen and the weather isnât too hot! - The location was great with a gorgeous view of the local landscape. The accomodation is great if you donât stay in hot weather! The signage to the property wasnât great once arrived at front entrance. Follow signs to Peteâs place NOT Tiny Home on a Hill!!
Also there is a hole in a fly screen so we were devoured by insects as the weather was hot and we had to open windows. They were all out of insect spray so the night was horrible. Also the septic tank had an issue they couldnât fix in time so the stench was not great but did eventually go away later in the evening.
*response to host
We messaged you about the septic tank smell and you replied to us by saying that there was in fact an issue but the plumber couldnât get there in time to fix it before the weekend. So to say there wasnât an issue is lie.
The fact you tried to get bookings.com to cancel our stay by you telling them we didnât show up is a deceitful way at keeping negative reviews away.
We fully excepted the heat and lack of cooling options as per our text messages directly to you but needed to let other travellers know some of the possible issues in hot weather, this is what honest reviews are for. There are many great aspects to your accomodation which we did point out in the review.
If you had handled the complaints we made on the night better this review would be better. Sorry for speaking the truth but maybe a lesson in customer service is here for you.
Ps. Bookings.com are instructing their hosts to put customers as no shows in order to not allow negative reviews.
