Guest Reviews
- Martina (10/5): - Great large Apartment! Beautiful large Terrace with a view over the city! It's the perfect place to walk through the city, right in the city center, we enjoyed our stay a lot!
- Wainwright (9/5): Very well equipped appt with a superb outside space to sit, relax and eat, over looking old town Malaga. - Perfectly situated in the center of old town Malaga. Even though the appt is in the middle there is little noise due to it being on the third floor. The outside space is superb. Somewhere to eat, drink relax and read and it gets sun from sunrise to sunset. There is plenty of shade due to the pergola and large umbrella that can be raised and moved easily. We didn’t use it but there is also an electric bbq. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed our breakfast each day sat at the table overlooking the cathedral and castle walls. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. It didn’t bother us, but anyone who struggles with mobility would not find this appt suitable as there are steep stairs between the two floors. There is a hand rail. Would be useful to have had some beach like towels to put onto the outside seating which got very warm in the sun. The Instructions to gain entrance to the property were slightly mis leading, but once we had done it once it was very simple.

- Valenza (10/5): Très beau logement, bien situé - L'emplacement est en plein centre de Malaga, quartier très agréable et animé. l'appartement est très bien équipé et décoré avec gout. La terrasse est exceptionnelle

- Keith (10/5): This apartment is perfect for a short break away in Malaga, it has everything you could ask for and caters for everythin - The property was modern , clean, comfortable, and everything was catered for. The property was exactly as described on the websites and was faultless. Not only was the property perfect but it was also perfectly located to everything as well. There is alot of furniture on the terrace and although this isn’t an issue it could be better with less. The apartment supports 4 people, yet there is a table and chairs for 6, there are also 2 random plastic chairs , a storage bench seat that would seat 3 and an outside comfy seating area that would seat 6. There is also a bbq, a sun shade and numerous plants. There are however no sun loungers on the terrace. Could easily remove the excess chairs and bench seat
- Simon (2/5): Where to start. Collecting the keys that weren’t keys but a code was a journey in itself and then opening the doors eve - Modern apartment centrally located. Where to start.
Collecting the keys that weren’t keys but a code was a journey in itself and then opening the doors every time with your phone was faff.
The apartment itself was clean and modern except for dirt around the shower sceerns.
There were ants all over the kitchen work surfaces
The roof top was filthy and had bird poo all over the furniture.
In the pictures they show a parasol on the terrace which is definitely needed, there was a base but there was no parasol.
Furniture on the terrace was tatty and stained.
A corrugated plastic sheet is fit on the roof, this was loose so when the wind blew in sounded like someone was drumming in the apartment.
While the bedroom is quiet on a night the noise in the lounge and on the terrace is relentless all night, every night.
But the icing on the cake and what really tarnished our visit to Malaga is the deposit of 300 euro they take before the key code is given and supposedly returned within 8 working days. This still hasn’t been returned after 4 weeks and numerous conversations with REMS staff. Having done some digging of reviews of REMS properties in Malaga this doesn’t look like the first time this has occurred with travellers.
As a frequent traveller I hope this information helps others when choosing where to stay in Malaga.
