Ellie (9/5): Superb - Christa and Jos were super friendly. Really nice communal kitchen to cook in. Absolutely loved the wooden palapa in the evenings. We completed our advanced PADI through them and was nice and straight forward. We got up at 6am for one of the dives to find there weren’t actually any tanks available, so had to dive later.

There was more than enough space to park our rental car. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, thanks again for letting us stay until the evening on the last day. Their online guest book was also helpful with all the information and recommendations. The house reef across the street was just amazing for snorkeling :D Nothing.

Isabelle (10/5): Home away from home - Where should I begin? It started before you arrive. You already receive many information, because Hakuna Matata provides you with an app, that has everything you need to know in it. Then I got picked up from the airport, which was very convenient. My room was big and well equipped and I instantly felt comfortable. However, you don't go to Bonaire to spend the days in your room. Hakuna Matata' gazebo is just great to relax, chat or watch iguanas. The pool is perfect for a quick refresh during hot days or in the morning after the night. You can go snorkeling across the street a couple of meters away at the "house reef". No bothering with the key or valuables, just walk out of the house in your swimming suit, towel and the snorkeling gear. The big and well furnished kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Summary: You feel that the owners thought about, how to make your stay smooth, comfortable and cozy. My week went over too fast!

Simon (8/5): Great base for seeing Bonaire - The room was perfectly clean and well thought out, especially liked the customised water bottles and beach towels which were a really nice touch. Lovely airy feel to the place with large open plan shared kitchen and living/lounge area, and Freeform to come & go as you please for self prepared meals etc. we did not dive with Jos as had already done our diving at another location but would certainly consider their diving offers on another occasion. Host was so friendly and helpful even when we arrived late and we really appreciated the use of the room to shower once checked out as fortunately no one moving in till the following day. would thoroughly recommend. property is quite out of town, 3 miles, so recommend truck/car or bike hire (as we did) for getting to town and around the island. it was all good

Laura (10/5): Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend! - The property is in an excellent location close to many dive sites and town. The owners provided absolutely everything we might need while on the island: dive tanks, gear & vehicle rentals, coolers, refrigerators in each unit, towels, espresso maker, etc…etc…It has a communal kitchen and beautiful pool area where guests swap dive tips. Very homey and comfortable! Owners are wonderfully helpful!! We hope to stay here again!

Jennifer L (10/5): - Beautiful villa. Lots of things to do and places to chill and relax on. Super hosts available for any questions and needs and they even do snorkel and diving tours. Fun to meet other guests at breakfast and throughout the day but also enough room and spaces to keep to yourself if you wish. Breakfast was early and delicious. Ocean is nearby. Car, scooter or golf cart helps one get around this stunning blue island. Great eats within 10 minute drive. Can’t wait to go back.
