- Edward (9/5): When was the last time your expectations were exceeded? - Usually, when a description says "cozy", it is lodging-speak for tiny. In this case, the description fit to a T. It is truly a one bedroom--meaning a separate kitchen, a living room and an ample bedroom (and bath of course), laid out like a railroad flat. The entrance is through the outdoor garden of a friendly, local cafe serving excellent coffee, sandwiches, pastries and breakfast till 6 PM. This is not a London "caff" but an upscale kinda funky, independent place with a healthy menu. The personnel there are lovely and helpful--best of all, the food is great, and your included breakfast is exactly whatever they offer on the menu. Because the flat is on their courtyard, there is no street noise, and it seems like a tiny oasis. For a bigger oasis, Ravenscourt Park is a few steps away, and is one of the most glorious London green spaces that I had never heard of. I cannot say enough good things about this property. It goes permanently on our "Keeper" list. Because of the "railroad flat" layout of the place, cross ventilation is lacking, and I can imagine in less temperate weather this might well be difficult. Aside from that, drains are a bit slow, but this is a truly minor quibble. The management was helpful with drain de-clogger, but might want to invest in a good "rootering" of the main drains. Also, because the cafe closes by 6 PM, I am not at all certain how the keys would be collected by the renter. Having experienced the service we enjoyed, I am certain some sort of arrangement would be made, however.
- Mary (8/5): Great cozy space - We loved the location, it is close to the subway, and easy to get into town. We loved the fact we had a large space to ourselves, we could sit on the couch, rest, and not worry about anything. The front store staff were amazing, we liked the fact there was coffee and breakfast just a few steps away, they were very friendly, kind and caring. The space itself is large, private and comfortable for two people. We never had issues with noise. The Bus stop is about a two minute walk and the train about a seven minute walk. There is a single step in the kitchen that could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

Situated half way between 2 tube stations, the flat location gave us some flexibility. The flat is found at the rear of 21 grams restaurant, adjacent to secret garden terrace. There were doors on each room, in typical English style, which came in handy. The kitchen is well equipped/stocked. Comfortable couch and double bed. The breakfast/brunch was fantastic. The property manager, Max, and the staff at the restaurant are very pleasant and responsive. The rundown condition of the access corridor from King Street.
