• Kathy (8/5): Fab spot - Great view of a very beautiful beach. Good location. As many others have noted, the only couch is uncomfortable, especially for two people for any length of time and a couple of things need fixing. No BBQ (although one is listed) but I knew that as I had inquired.
• Arianne (8/5): Great little short stay with a great location - The beach was a stones throw away and the view absolutely perfect. A great short stay for a couple :) easy parking and host communication made the trip very easy. The Woodford smoke and cigarette smoke from the restaurant in front made it hard to leave the doors or windows open during opening hours. The curtain in the bedroom doesn’t lower all the way so sunlight isn’t very effectively blocked in the room.

• Riccardo (8/5): Gut aber nicht perfekt. - Tolle Aussicht vom Schlafzimmer und der Terrasse. Bequeme Fensterbank mit Matratze und Kissen - ideal bei windigem und kühlem Wetter wie wir es hatten. Bett war breit und bequem. Sehr steile aber geteerte Zufahrt. Wir haben den Zugang Code als nicht sicher empfunden. Wir hatten stürmische kalte Winde. Das Cottage ist kaum isoliert. Trotz Heizen wurde es nicht gemütlich warm. Alles in allem eine gute Wahl.

• Lane (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely quaint cottage nicely and appropriately decorated for the location. We were blown away upon entering the cottage by the incredible view. Just stunning, particularly if you are blessed with a sunset that we were on one of our two nights stay. And the bed is super, super comfy! The kitchen area is due for some love. Kitchen cupboard doors need attending to and the crockery/utensils/containers etc could do with a soaking (stickiness with some).

• Trina (10/5): The house was lovely, I loved the decor - especially the Paisley - the view spectacular. Thank you - Maybe instructions on using the door code would be helpful and turning the latch etc. the couch is too small for two to sit comfortably for any length of time
• Katherine (8/5): Very good - Amazing views! Kitchen set up was good and has most things you would need, including milk for tea/coffee on arrival and nice shampoo/conditioner Arrival was tricky …. The address specifically given in the arrival instructions lead you to the wrong place on Google maps. Oven not working as had to be reset. Hosts were receptive in both cases to troubleshoot which was appreciated

A steep walk to the beach access but doable. Very clean and well appointed The vehicle access was quite tight in spots

• Diane (9/5): Beach Bliss at Australian Beach of the year. - Fabulous view above the sweeping beach. Short walk down the hill & across the road to the beach. Cute old beach house with lovely beach decor. Comfortable bed & well equipped kitchen. TV had internet available. Lots of great walks from the house. The Hub pizza in front of house was really convenient & good food with lovely staff. It’s quite a steep driveway so be aware that you must also be able to walk a steep hill. ( it comes with the great view) There was no BBQ - the stand was there but the BBQ had been removed. Luckily we hadn’t planned on using it.
• Galina (8/5): Very relaxing stay - Superb view, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen the beach is opposite to the property, but there is no easy access, need to drive/walk around. Or maybe we did not find any path, but it would be nice if explanation would be in property description, if such exists.
• Nancy (10/5): A special beach house at Binalong Bay - The cottage is so gorgeous, well equipped and has everything you might need to make your holiday great. The view over the beach and ocean is spectacular and the little extras like books and games, CDs and cute decor just kept on delighting us and added to the charm The location near the scenic Gardens and Bay of Fires scenery is perfect. Having to leave!

The cottage was well maintained and had great facilities. The extras included such as cooking utensils, games etc were appreciated. The recycling bin was full when we got there, so maybe checking bins and emptying would make recycling easier.

• Stewart (10/5): Beautiful views, cozy cottage by the sea. - Wonderful views, sunny balcony over looking the Bay of Fires, fully functioning kitchen. WiFi was good, parking available, restaurant nearby. Walk to the beach and swim. The smell of deep fry fat from the restaurant below.
• Robin (10/5): A wonderful beach house - Location is fantastic. You can hear the waves breaking in the beach all night, so relaxing. The house is well-equipped and beautiful. Not staying there longer!

Took a little while to figure out how the lock and handle worked - thrown off by the wobbly handle. Once I mastered it, it was easy.

• Kim (10/5): A very comfortable place with excellent ocean access. - Don’t be fool by the normal looking exterior, it has the most charming ocean view and the deco and facilities in it are excellent. On a clear night, you can see stars that are too numerous to count. Nothing at all.

Covered all the needs in a compact way, without feeling cramped at all. Covered deck was excellent. Loved everything except the steep walk back up from the restaurant but that's my own fault for being unfit!!

• Sallie (8/5): I would travel and stay here again. It was very beautiful and peaceful. Beach is perfect. - Decor was lovely. View was excellent. Unit very well appointed. Oven was hard to operate (cooked in the fry pans instead). If sliding door windows were the cleaner the view would have been better. Tiles in the shower very slippery (maybe a non-slip mat to help prevent accident). Bed was a bit too soft and not supportive enough. Very minor issues, but were noticed.

• Tom (10/5): Sweet Cottage with spectacular views - Location is superb, wonderful views across the bay, good access to beach and restaurant. Wonderful views from both main living area and bedrooms, Private parking, excellent instructions on how to locate and access the cottage. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, previous reviews made mention of a small and not particularly comfortable bed, I can only assume that the bed has been recently replaced as it is now a king size with excellent mattress and great linen. Only minor complaint is the access for both vehicles and by foot is quite steep but as long as you are careful it is not a big problem.
