• Claire (8/5): This was our second stay at Ebony and Ivory villa. We came again as it suits our needs perfectly. The villa is very comf - Comfy beds with lovely linen. Great host who is very responsive and accommodating. Great location, close to everything but also quiet and removed from the centre of town. Would have liked a little more glassware other than for wine (tumblers). Small fridge and the freezer is not powerful so couldn’t keep ice blocks.
• Kay (10/5): Amazing Christmas visit in a home away from home - We had a marvellous time at Ebony and Ivory over the Xmas period. The house is absolutely stunning and everything has been thought of to give a home away from home feel. The beds were honestly the comfiest we have ever slept on and we loved the outside terrace with the day bed. Location was fabulous - the beach was a short stroll as was the town where we could venture out to cafes, bars and shops. We will be back! Nothing - it was the perfect stay
• Caroline (10/5): Beautiful.home from home - Beautifully refurbished - we had an amazing stay Debbie. All kitchen utensils, air fryer, slow cooker, oven, toaster oven everything you could ask for. Loads of towels including beach towels. Like home from home. Great air con. Had a great nights sleep. Lovely outside lounging / dining area Host was excellent at keeping in touch and providing information. A great base for exploring surrounding area … Shoal bay, climbed Tomaree mountain, Gan Gan lookout, soldiers point Marina and the sand dunes at Birubi point. Nothing. It was all perfect .

• Paul (8/5): Ebony and Ivory charm 80.00 - Nicely decorated and welcoming cottage. A proper stove with grill would have been nice instead of some of the available gadgets in the kitchen, however, it didn't detract from the positive experience....

The bamboo screen in front is a brilliant touch, creating a feeling of secluded privacy. I adored the deck, especially with the outdoor daybed—perfect for my morning tea. Plus, the indoor bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept like a log!

• Sheena (10/5): Wonderful home welcoming host can’t recommend highly enough - Gorgeously appointed home very comfortable with everything required for a short stay. Walking distance to town and shops. Quiet location but near all Nelson bay’s facilities. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!
• Andrea (10/5): Peaceful surrounded by beautiful things and a comfy bed. - They were supposed to be in the locked box but it was empty when we arrived. I messaged and rang but couldn't get hold of the owner. We eventually found them under the front door mat. The place was stunning.

Short walk to the beach and then on to the town centre. Highly recommended. Weather was terrible but access to streaming products was much appreciated.

• Danielle (9/5): Gorgeous villa Nelson Bay - The villa was perfect for our needs. A beautiful and comfortable space to relax after enjoying the sights of Nelson Bay and surrounds. There was all we needed to prepare simple dinners. It was so nice, we were happy to eat in at night and just go out for lunch!! No complaints, it was lovely!!

It’s not enough. - everyone has only 1 bath towel for 2 days. It’s not enough. - the pillows are so hard and the bed is uncomfortable. We didn’t have good sleeps. - the house wasn’t as clean as we expected. - it was raining almost the whole time when we were there. There’s no cover for the parking. The parking space were so wet and dirty.

It is beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable and easy. Beds are very comfy, linen and towels lovely and the location is good - a short walk to town or little beach and a short drive to Shoal Bay. Debbie is a wonderful host who is very accommodating and welcoming. Thanks for having us.

• Bernadette (8/5): Very good - The house was beautifully decorated. The host was very responsive. Whilst the beds were good quality, they were too soft for our liking. It was also difficult reversing into the accom driveway with such a narrow laneway. Just keep this in mind if you have a big car.

Loud noise of water running just by opening the tap or flushing the toilet wakes up sleeping people in the bedrooms. A bit of sound proofing can help with the noise.
• Samira (10/5): We really had a quality time in such a beautifully designed place. We would like to stay here again in future. - It was beyond my expectation. When I opened the door, On the table there was a dark chocolate and a little plant to welcome me and my guest, I love it. Moreover, We are pleased by the property design, each and every art and pieces that was there for decoration where they represented the aboriginal’s sentiments. I just studied in my university but got to see few things in human and were able to share it with my parents and my husband. In kitchen, the utensils were so fancy, provided all the needed things. Even the soap, hand cream and shampoo fragrance was so good. My parents, they like the chair that was outside in the frontyard, it was so different, we didn’t saw that design yet. Fun part is we got Netflix and prime video to chill out 😁 Your property was well maintained. I don’t think there is anything that I didn’t like about this property but as a suggestion it’s better to get a net door, cause when we opened the window flies were coming in. And one more if there would be any exhaust fan, but they provided induction stove which was great.
