• Doruk (1/5): SCAM - Avoid This Place – Misleading Pricing & Terrible Experience - SCAM - Be aware! This place is a scam. I booked a room advertised at 60 CHF per night, expecting a last-minute deal. Only after paying 120 CHF for two nights did I realize they had hidden a 150 CHF cleaning fee, making the total 270 CHF—more than double the room price. Neither the hotel nor Booking.com offered a refund. I met another couple who fell into the same trap. Not a Real Hotel – Just a Badly Converted Apartment No reception, just tiny, outdated rooms in an old building. Paper-thin walls—you hear everything. Unpleasant smell & extremely dirty (see photos). Shady guests wandering around, making sleep impossible. Hidden Fees & Poor Service Early check-in or check-out? Another 100 CHF. Fresh bed sheets? 25 CHF. City tax wrongly charged, despite being a Zurich resident. Incompetent, rude staff, barely speaking German or English. Check-in disaster—wrong codes, long delays, and attempts to downgrade my room. Final Verdict: Stay Away This wannabe Airbnb is overpriced, deceptive, and not worth the money. Better options are available in Zurich for this price. Avoid at all costs!
• Çağcan (1/5): We don’t recommend this place. The staff were very uninterested. The automatic coded door lock was broken and the code n - The place was clean enough. We waited outside in the cold for 1 hour to reach the person in charge, no one called us, they did not pick up the phone and did not care. Also, the coffee machine was broken, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I definitely not recommend this place.
• Marco (8/5): Very good - It's well located, decently priced (for Zurich) & matches the description on the listing. Room is well supplied & bed comfy. There are no staff to speak of; everything is automated. Make sure you have charge & data signal on your phone, or you're literally not getting in at all because of the electronic locks Inn the doors. Considerate but early morning construction going on in the stairwell area during the day.
