- Mark H82 (1/5): Terrible. Avoid. Better to sleep on the street - Nothing, very bad location, dirty run down, cold water, facilities don't work. Staff are rude They told us we could check in earlier with no charge so we specifically walked across town to check in only to be told it was double the cost of the room just to check in a few hours earlier. So they made us wait on the street while the room sat empty for hours. We should have just left then, because its filthy trash hostel and nothing works.

This morning i woke up very late because had few many beers on saturday, and she woke up me and made jokes on me, it was a beautiful way to wake up, and I really felt her like a mother🥹 She was also so kind and disponible with check in and check out, today we talked a bit and when i was leaving we stopped to talk a bit, although the only night i think i'll miss her:c Also the position is super good, you're really close to most of the main places in district one and literally less then 1min away from bui vien street. Depending on your plans, might not be a good choice, if you want to sleep. Must be said that the hotel is providing you with free earplugs, but still..

Y si la ves por la mañana, te da los buenos días con mucha alegría; es un amor de persona. Además, está en una muy buena ubicación, las camas son muy cómodas y todo está muy limpio. Quizás el ruido. Pero realmente si tienes tapones (y si eres un traveller debes llevarlos) no escuchas nada

Szkoda że Pani na recepcji nie mówi po angielsku. WiFi nie dochodzi do pokoju. Jest jedna łazienka na piętrze więc jedna ubikacja na przynamniej 8 osób.

- Andrea (10/5): Una meravigliosa oasi di accoglienza. - Il posto è un po’ difficile da trovare, ma poi si viene ricompensati. Il vicolo sembra un’isola della Saigon del passato, lontana dal clamore della zona turistica della città. La posizione è centrale, appunto nella zona turistica, ma il vicolo è appartato, tranquillo, silenzioso. La struttura è pulita, curata, la camera privata ha tutti i comfort promessi. La signora Rose è gentile e premurosa. Il bagno (pulito e perfettamente funzionante) è condiviso solo con un’altra camera privata, quindi nessun sovraffollamento. È stato il mio miglior soggiorno in Vietnam e uno dei migliori di tutti i miei viaggi. Gli orari di check-in e check out sono inflessibili, se si anticipa l’arrivo o si ritarda la partenza si paga il sovrapprezzo.

- Ona (7/5): Bona estada. - Bona ubicació. Tot i ser habitacions petites, estan molt ben equipades i decorades. A l’entrada de l’allotjament pots reomplir l’aigua i també hi ha una nevera per deixar el que necessitis. Està tot molt ben tencat i tenen molt en compte la seguretat. No és res negatiu, simplement és que us fixeu que el labavo és compartit! Nosaltres no ho vam veure i ens ho vam trobar quan vam arribar. (L’allotjament ho indica). Les habitacions són petites.

Its very close to walking street, where all parties are happening. Some people may be dissapointed because of noise. For me it was ok, but some people may find it uncomfortable to sleep.

- Florian (5/5): - L’emplacement Le rapport qualité / prix La manière de communiquer du personnel : - On a été guetté pour payer vite la chambre et on nous parlait que pour ça. J’avais l’impression d’être surveillée car la personne de l’hôtel surgissait de la pièce derrière le comptoir quand je descendais. Et c’était les seuls moments où la personne s’adressait à nous. - On m’a demandé d’enlever mes sandales dans le bâtiment. J’ai expliqué que c’était désagréable pour moi car j’ai vu de mes propres yeux les personnes rentrer en chaussures de ville dedans. Ce que le personne m’a dit : les gens portent des chaussures des chambre (alors que j’ai vu que c’était des chaussures de ville). Même dans la salle de bain je voyais quelques traces grises par terre. Les tatanes en question dans les chambres sont des tatanes qui ont été portées sûrement par beaucoup de personnes avant donc j’avais pas envie de les mettre. Enfin bref le tout je pense qui a été désagréable c’est la manière dont les choses ont été faites. Je me trouve actuellement dans le même type d’hôtel avec le même prix et le personnel est très accueillant ce qui est bien plus agréable.

- Sora (9/5): コスパ良し - ・ブイビエン通りから近く、夜遅くまで飲んで歩いてすぐ帰れるのが本当にありがたい立地 ・ブイビエン近いのにホテル内は全然静かで寝心地良かった ・シャワーもお湯出るのが嬉しい。虫もそんな多くないし、一泊17万ドンって考えたら大満足。ホステル慣れしてない方は分からないが、旅してる人からしたら本当に泊まりやすいと思う。 ・入り口すぐに喫煙スペースと椅子とかあるから、チルできるし、他の宿泊客とも仲良くなれる。 総じて、コスパ含めると非常に良いと感じた ・部屋に扇風機しかないから昼はちょっと暑かった ・多分6人部屋のドミ？が何室かあったが、バスルームが2個しかなかったのはちょっと残念 ・オーナーの女性は1人英語話せるが、もう1人は英語話せない。少し不便だが、気になることがあれば他の英語喋れる宿泊客に尋ねれば良い

- aimee (10/5): - After a month of backpacking, this was by far the nicest room we stayed in. Beautifully decorated with excellent facilities, it felt like a real treat. There's a hair dryer, kettle for tea and coffee, fridge dowstairs, somehwere to hang your clothes and also a full length mirror which was a lovely touch. The location is perfect - close to all the must-see sights and great restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet despite being near the party street. We didn't hear a thing from our room. It can be a bit tricky to find at first, but just follow the host's directions: stop at the Seven-Eleven store - 26 Do Quang Dau Street, District 1. And then from there you look opposite to see an alley, you walk straight to the alley for 60m, then look ay the left side to see our hostel. There is a sign you can clearly see and just follow Google maps as well The host is absolutely lovely - such a kind woman who genuinely cares about her guests. She speaks a bit of English but has no problem communicating through Google translate. She replaced our towels daily and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Don't let that one negative review from Simon fool you it's so obviously fake. Plus, there's an adorable cat that lives here too! Thank you so much for letting us stay here, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ho Chi Min city.
- Lorenzo (10/5): At the heart of Saigon's night life, but quiet and cozy - The hosts - Rose and her mother - are very kind. The mom does not speak English but we communicated well with a translator. Internet was super fast. There is a little fruit market every day in the morning right below the window, starting at 6, but it did not cause any sleep interruption. The room is equipped with AirCo and a ventilator, which are very much needed end of May. The furniture was essential but nice. Finding it was not super easy, and when I arrived nobody was there. The only way to contact them was via phone, which I couldn't use because of roaming limitations. Maybe more instructions or coordination would help.

Shower was powerful There is often no staff present at the hostel. That's not an issue, but I couldn't reach the owner for a while, so I was stuck outside. Then the place had an issue, so I was brought to the other Northen Hostel. It is close and not an issue, but if I knew before I could have gone there straight.

- Olivier (8/5): We recommend this hostel - We stayed in this hostel for 3 nights. The welcome was excellent and the lady was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, close to the centre, restaurants and bars. The dorm was comfortable and clean. There are lockers, curtains and the mattresses are comfortable. The shower is next to the toilet, so there's water everywhere, which isn't very practical.

A big bus Station just 5 min away Friday night got quite noisy but if you enjoy beeing part of its great and if the room is fully booked it is realy not much space for anything.

In the first place Rose and her mum were kind enough to check us in around 3 am in the morning. Rose’s mum showed us our dorm and as soon as she opened the door, a Bangladeshi guy ran straight at her. She shouted at him and after that he went to his bed. He was just wearing a towel and looked super weird. And the room smelled of alcohol. Then we asked for another room. At this point mum was calling rose over the phone. Rose said “you are not okay with that dorm because of the Bangladeshi guy right”. Presume she knows about his odd behaviour in the first place. And the dorms were super cramped. It had space for Only one person to move around at a time. We landed in Ho Chi Minh City around 2 am in the night and were super tired. The next day morning Rose’s mum started knocking the door and asked for our passports. She said she had to check the visa cos she didn’t check it earlier. All my friends were sleeping because of the fatigue and I had to wake them up for their passports. She didn’t listen when I said I’ll show her the passports later. It’s understood that we have to pay at the time of checkin, however we didn’t have enough cash at that time. In the morning Rose asked me for the money and I asked her politely if we can pay at the time of check out cos our bags were still there. She was a bit rude and straight forward in responding to me. And when Rose and I were talking, one of my friends was walking towards the door (we were a group of 6). Rose stopped him abruptly and said “where are you going? Pay for the stay first”. My friend was very embarrassed. Ofcourse we call know money is important. But guests shouldn’t be treated this way. It felt a bit racist for us. After we paid she started speaking sweetly and asked where are we heading next and all that. Overall a disappointing stay. We had been to 4 other hostels in Vietnam before this one but this had to be the worst of all.

Honestly all was okay. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.GOD bless them indeed😊🙏

- Theodore (10/5): Exceptional - This hostel is a homely little place in a perfect location, a quiet alleyway just off the main nightlife/walking street. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The room is clean, comfortable, and inviting. A perfect base for our Saigon explorations! Nothing to complain about!
