• Lomas (8/5): Villa conveniently located, pleasant stay - The villa is close to the centre of the resort so you can easily walk to the restaurant and bars, golf etc. Nicely decorated. Pool a good size and ample space to sit around outside, 2 seating areas. Outdoor kitchen fine. Was clean inside with nice towels, bathrobes and slippers provided. I had been chasing up on instructions on how to access the property but nothing was forthcoming until 3 days before our arrival which made me anxious about the booking. Asked if we could leave our bags at the villa before 2pm check in and this was accommodated from a lovely lady called Katie from the management company who met us at the villa and explained how things worked and showed us around. A few issues though: the hot tub was filthy and had brown slime in it. I contacted Katie and she sent the pool people the next day. The pool needed cleaning and this was done at the same time. The air con in bedroom 2 was hit and miss… the TV froze for a day but a man called George was sent to fix it. Found some old cans of beer in the outside kitchen which we disposed of. Nothing major and overall a good stay. Villa was very clean with lots of bedding provided. Seemed to be mis communication from those I contacted via Booking.com versus the management people as I had a 2pm check in confirmed but management said 4pm (I challenged this). I then said we would check out at 12pm as our taxi was coming at 12.15 but I was contacted about going earlier as they had new guests coming but I stood my ground and this was then accommodated (they asked us to check out at 11am and it clearly states on Booking.com that check out is at 12). This was a little upsetting considering the money I had spent on a 4 night stay and we felt we were being ushered out. Finally, the villas are close together and noise travels… it was a Cypriot holiday during our stay (great!) but one villa close by had a party with sound system blasting. We saw a few of the other villa owners/residents getting very upset at the noise but we went out to avoid it. This couldn’t be helped by inconsiderate neighbours but the area can be noisy. Overall an ‘OK’ stay.
