- Lizzyloo67 (2/5): Avoid this property - The visiting rock wallabies at night. The description of the unit does not match the presentation. After booking, we were advised that a $400 security deposit was to be paid into a bank account by PayId. Multiple messages followed with a range of do's and don'ts so you dont risk your security deposit, right down to not using a face washer to remove make up as it risks staining the cloth... The unit is in need of a complete refurb - curtains & seat cushions are aged and mouldy, beds were old and saggy. Bathroom was not clean, shower rose had to be leant on the wall to be upright & usable. The bed linen was clean and thats about all in this unit! - visible dust build up throughout, bathroom floor and outside of toilet was in need of attention. Credit where it's was due, the deposit was refunded promptly.

- Cath (6/5): A room with a duck - Amaroo is a quiet spot. The gardens are incredibly beautiful. The kids loved the pool and the resident wildlife. Our nightly visit by the duck was a highlight. The room was cool and comfortable. The photos of the beds weren't the actual setup offered. The damage deposit was as much as the two nights accommodation. The duck left a lot of muck at the front door, and there was no dustpan ect to clean up with.

- Reece (8/5): Comfortable, tidy unit, with great potential. Awesome home base to explore the Island - Fair price and my contact was easy to deal with and explained my questions clearly. Access to in room washing machine was a bonus. I found it uncomfortable not to be dealing with the resort itself as I carried my belongings past the front desk. So many signs about cleaning violations with penalties attached. I didn't use any appliances. Ended up eating out for all meals.
