• Lee (10/5): Comfortable and quiet accommodation - excellent location - close to the city, transport and shops. - The property was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was great and everything was very central to where we were. The hosts communication was fabulous and allowed us to leave our bags at the property early and then check-out late. Was a quiet comfortable and relaxing stay. Nothing really - everything was exactly as we needed and wanted.

• sherie (10/5): A truly special cottage full of charm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality a stay that left us with memories we’ll treasu - We had such a wonderful stay at this charming older style cottage that has been in the owners family for over 4 generations. The place is beautifully modern-day decorated, full of character, and instantly makes you feel right at home. Our family especially loved the table tennis it was a huge hit and provided hours of fun for everyone! The location was perfect: close to everything we needed while still giving us our own peaceful, private space. Daniel, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. He even text us a lovely welcome letter, which added such a personal touch. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage had a cozy, homey feel, and it was the perfect spot, close to the hospital and it was a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend! The only thing to keep in mind is the parking. You do get a permit, which is helpful, but since there’s no dedicated parking for the property, you still have to rely on street parking and it can fill up quickly. It’s not something the host can change, but it did make us less inclined to drive. Instead, we walked or used public transport and rideshares, which actually turned into a fun adventure and some extra family time. Other than that, we absolutely loved the cottage everything else about our stay was wonderful.

It was a short walk to bridge road and a lovely - We loved the location and how comfortable it was - it suited our family. Loved having our own private backyard, and also loved that we were staying in a piece of history - the property has been in the owners family for four generations. It had everything we needed. Nothing, we enjoyed staying here.

• Mark (10/5): Perfect location and comfort - Another fantastic stay at this treasure - it really is like Dr. Who's Tardis; it looks relatively small from outside but step in and there's adequate room to spread out and really feel at home. Everything you could possibly want is provided by the thoughtful owner. Its position can't be faulted, a stroll to Richmond's cafes and eateries. its not even that strenuous to walk into the city (on a nice day!) This was our second stay and we already can't wait to come back! It’s perfect for our dogs too as there is an enclosed garden and lovely walks nearby. Ticks all our boxes, no complaints

Like that there were supermarkets within easy walking distance too. Didn't have a big space where the whole family could hang out together.

The out door area was a good space to hang out . One issue was the bed sheets needed to be winter sheets . Also would have been nice to have some electric blankets for beds as it was freezing at night going to bed .

• Alexandra (8/5): Great location and clean place - Very clean, great location, comes with a parking permit which allows to park right outside the house. Well stocked pantry and a very responsive host. The property is poorly insulated and it was very very cold inside. We used the split system heater but in the areas where there is no heater (for example the guest bedroom) it was cold. The bathroom is not heated at all and so it is absolutely freezing.

Daniel was fabulous and unperturbed by our changing times and needs. He offered above and beyond! I loved this place and the ease of getting into the city by tram to Southern Cross. Eclectic and homely. Have to have rocks in head to find fault with this place.
