• Theresa (7/5): Fine place to stay for a few nights in Baku - It’s a fine place to stay for a couple of nights. Well located within walking distance of the main sites. There’s a great cafe with live music that ends at a reasonable time to sleep. Free tea and coffee. The bathrooms were small and seemed like they weren’t cleaned regularly. It was difficult to find staff members if needed and the language barrier was complicated.

• Maurice (4/5): - Der Innenhof ist schön und läd zum sitzen ein. Die Matratze im Einzelzimmer scheint aus dem letzten Jahrhundert zu sein. Der Zugang zum Zimmer erfolgt über eine schmale, wacklige Treppe. Toilette und Dusche sind quasi eins, wenn man duschen geht, steht die gesamte Kabine unter Wasser.

Her gün 16:00 ve 20:00 da canlı müzik olması ve hostel misafirlernin ücretsiz izleyebilmesi olayı bitiriyor. Gelen şarkıcılar gerçekten 10 numara. Bir daha gelirsem sırf müzik için yine Flora yı seçerim. Temizliğe biraz daha dikkat edilse iyi olur.

• Rashid Gul (9/5): - I stayed at this hostel l for five days, and overall my experience was pleasant. The place is clean, and the staff are very kind, cooperative, and professional. The Wi-Fi facility is available and works reasonably well. Additionally, the kitchen facilities are a great convenience, making the stay more comfortable. Overall, it is a good and comfortable place to stay, and with a small improvement, it could become even better I would like to make a small suggestion: improving the quality of the mattresses could enhance guests’ comfort and help ensure a more restful sleep.
• FABIO (1/5): Pior hospedagem da minha vida - A localização é a única coisa boa desse lugar Péssimo atendimento. Cheguei à acomodação, não sabiam da minha reserva. Me entregaram um quarto sujo, com cabelos no banheiro e cesto de lixo cheio. No primeiro dia não tinha água quente. No segundo, nem água tinha. Para acessar o quarto privativo, é preciso subir uma escada improvisada de ferro enferrujado, que por sinal, fica atrás de um palco, que executa show até de noite, tornando o quarto, que não tem isolamento acústico bastante barulhento. No demais, fui duas vezes cobrado pela hospedagem, sendo que, à minha saída, o dono do hostel me perseguiu pela rua, falando palavras de baixo calão , parando somente frente à polícia que eu acionei. Por fim, creio que com medo de ser avaliado, ele avisou ao booking que eu não tinha comparecido, sendo que a questão já estava sendo tratada pelo serviço de atendimento ao cliente. Acho que não queria que eu avaliasse este local. Definitivamente, a pior hospedagem da minha vida.

• Benjamin (8/5): Gute Lage, preiswert und angenehmer Aufenthalt - Sehr nettes Personal und kultige Unterkunft in cooler Nachbarschaft. Nicht weit entfernt vom Supermarkt, Einkaufspassagen und der Altstadt. Außerdem gibt es einen schönen Innenhof mit live Musik. Abends ab 22 Uhr ist Ruhezeit, welche eingehalten wird. Mitarbeiter hat sich sehr gut Gäste gekümmert und war immer hilfsbereit. Einmal kam der Besitzer in den Schlafsaal und hat für ein paar Minuten laut seine Videos angeschaut. Der Eingangsbereich könnte ein bisschen sauberer und aufgeräumter sein, aber nicht schlimm.
• Ayşe Gül (7/5): Great location and amazing staff — but the shared shower/toilet setup was not very practical - The location was excellent. I was able to walk to many central places easily. The live music events in the evenings, which were free to join, were also really enjoyable. All the staff were very kind and helpful. In particular, the staff were truly amazing. Hakim at the café was always smiling and very welcoming, and in the hostel area, Kenan went above and beyond to help with everything. He was extremely polite and did his best at all times. Truly great staff overall! In terms of facilities, unfortunately the shower and toilet were in the same space (there was no separate enclosed shower area even though it was inside the toilet). Additionally, the toilet and kitchen were located in the same area, and there were only two toilets available. Because of this, I often had to wait in line, and since there was no enclosed shower, everything in the toilet area was usually wet when someone had just showered.
• Brendan (3/5): Alright for a short stay but very weird rules - The location was good and the beds were comfortable. Lots of very strange rules that you have to follow at this hostel. For example, you’re not allowed to wear sandals, but regular shoes are ok? Boiling water creates smells that bother the other guests, but people can smoke inside? Overall weird staff that gets off on pushing people around.

• Reto (7/5): - Was received well and owner/staff are hospitable. The dorm was big/spacious and somehow its epic with the music venue thrown in for an authentic grassroots experience. A good clean of the bathrooms and kitchen would make a big difference. Then again it's a real cheapie and I had a pleasant stay.

Supermarkets, eateries around. 5 minutes to old town, Waterfront, pedestrian street mattresses were uncomfortable, some you can actually feel the springs. Windows don't close properly, so some beds catch a draught

Por la noche suele haber conciertos y son gratis si te alojas en el hostal. Las camas eran incómodas. La cocina y los baños estaban algo dejados. Creo que podría estar más limpio y los utensilios de cocina mejor tratados. Además, las duchas en los baños funcionan mal.

Very bad conditioning - either too much noise from it or it's boiling in the room without it. General condition of furniture both in the living space and in the bathroom - for now quite bad, unfortunately. For sure has a room for improvement. For a few days - maybe okay, for 6 (as it was in my case) - cons are more than pros.

Самое главное — люди, которые управляют хостелом, очень приветливые и доброжелательные, они быстро реагируют на любые вопросы и просьбы, всегда готовы помочь. В лобби есть чаи из разных трав, а также особые напитки. К самому хостелу можно подъехать на машине. В целом, рекомендуем всем. The hostel is located in a very convenient area, right in the city center. There are cafes, restaurants, and a large 24-hour supermarket nearby. In the hostel’s own cafe, you can sit, relax, and enjoy live music. The room had a working air conditioner, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The bathroom was clean. Most importantly, the people running the hostel are very friendly and welcoming — they respond quickly to any questions or requests and are always ready to help. In the lobby, there are various herbal teas as well as special drinks. You can drive right up to the entrance of the hostel. Overall, highly recommended for everyone. Nothing

• andrea (10/5): - Despite being a little no-frills, this hostel's location is fantastic, right in the city center. Toghrul, the manager, is an incredibly kind, cultivated, and helpful individual. A great bonus is that almost every night from 8 PM to 10 PM, they host concerts with local groups.

• xuan (10/5): The best hostel I’ve ever stayed in — full of atmosphere, great facilities, and it made me never want to leave. - This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s the first time a hostel made me reluctant to leave a city. Every little corner of the hostel has its own vibe. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are even live performances at night. I was really happy here — it’s simply wonderful.

He will make sure your comfort and take care of your everything. He treated me like a family member and helped me in multiple ways. He is a kind hearted hospitable person. He tries his best to keep you comfortable. He is a very hard working person. I felt like I was at my home. Trust me this place is far better than a 5star hotel. If I ever visit Baku again, I will definitely stay at this place. Only mosquitos 😂😂

• LuLu (7/5): Great location - The location is great, I walked everywhere for all the tourist sites. Metro stations, you have a choice of 2 about the same distance are about a 15 min walk away & very easy to use. There's filtered water to fill up your bottles. Music every night that seems to be more popular with the locals than the hostel travellers. Host is kind with good local knowledge. Free tea all day. Supermarket close by and local restaurants. There's only 2 showers with toilets (same space) so can be crowded in the morning & evenings. Kitchen is tiny. Mattress on my bed was terrible, old, lumpy and everytime you moved you could hear the springs. No privacy curtains.
• Fitia (8/5): Affordable and cosy - Very affordable and cosy hostel. The atmosphere is definitely artsy! It is a short walk to the main attractions. The staff was kind and helpful. The bathrooms were not clean and didn't have sufficient toiletries. You are also not provided with towels. The night we stayed there were a lot of mosquitoes. The beds were not very comfortable as well.

The communal space is great, and they have really amazing live music almost every night. Room was spacious and bathrooms good and there is a kitchen with water filter and tea which is ideal. Great location as well!

Ortam samimi ve dost canlısı, huzurlu bir şekilde konakladım ki hostellerde huzur gerçekten önemli 😊 Tuvalet ve banyo daha iyi olmalı, umarım bir gün oraya da el atarlar 😊 Ama huzurla uyuduğum için bunu gözardı edebildim. Ranzalar kendinden perdeli olabilirdi, bu daha rahat olurdu.

Приятный бонус - хостел является также местом проведения концертов (насколько мы поняли, любительских), так что можно вечером посмотреть концерт. При заселении произошла некоторая забавная накладка, но персонал отнёсся очень чутко и быстро устранил проблему, так что всё хорошо.
• Louis-Philippe (9/5): Independent traveller: your basic needs are covered at FLORA for cheap. - This is the only review you need to read. I've been traveling solo for 25 years in +50 countries. 99% of the time in backpackers/Hostels. When I searched for a hostel in BAKU I read many reviews and actually I thought it was mostly scam so I ended up going to a more expensive AirBNB until an Italian I met stayed at the FLORA and told me he had no issues. Do not expect services and qualities like in the well developed travel countries like EU/USA/AUS. Here it's basic and you have the value for money. The staff was friendly. I felt safe and the lockers were good and big enough for my belongings (camera, laptop....). I'm actually planning to go back to BAKU and will just book there 100% as it's also very close to the mountain equipment shop I go to. I got so well on with the staff, they invited me to a concert, for free. Also the place has it's own café with music and comedians. Again for the price, do not expect a 5 star. So I will add a few things were I think the team will improve on this in the future. Perhaps the rooms (mine was 8 beds) should need also a lock/key for increased security. There was sometimes a bit of smell from tobacco in the dining area, I think coming from the outside theatre. I think smoking should only be in the street to avoid bad smells in the hostel. A proper "welcome" procedure should be put in place. Written on a wall and orally with: what can we do, not do, wifi code, whatsappnumber to call reception, explain where are the toilets/showers, free tea, explain we can use any cutlery and plates, the code and process to get out of the gate... We could but I think it should be explained. Write it once (EN/RU/TK/AZ) and it's already excellent. In short small improvements. And again the most important is there: SAFE, Friendly Staff, Fairly clean and well located.
• Vaatul (10/5): - Flora as the name say is actually a place where you can admire Music and Art in it's true form. The in house music concert with local artists almost everyday. Friendly staff and owner and good Music.
• sunny (10/5): - My experience in this hostel has been awesome. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. Every evening you enjoy Azerbaijani music from local artists. This makes the hostel very unique.
