Guest Reviews
- Jo (10/5): Great location and facilities. We loved our stay in St Kilda. - Small issues were sorted by Samuel and much appreciated. Great location. Beds comfortable. We loved our stay in St Kilda,
Great food nearby, Parking included was a bonus. Will stay again.
- Jaswinder (1/5): -
- Frank (7/5): - Location was excellent, including transport and local facilities. The facilities were clean and comfortable We were happy with what we paid for. Unfortunately, after check-in, our host was unreachable. We required further communications and fortunately was able to reach the cleaner who was very helpful.
- Jessica (1/5): - This place was terrible! We couldn’t even get into the property, and the owner was completely uncontactable when we needed help. We waited over 4 hours for a response — with two dogs travelling with us — which made the entire trip a stressful and awful experience. The owner has refused to take responsibility or issue a refund for his mistake. Absolutely do not recommend!
- Christine (8/5): - Value for money/ location. A few things didn't work - like Fan in the bathroom. Coffee machine.
Parking spot could be marked clearer.
- Eliza (1/5): Terrible. - DO NOT STAY HERE the place smelt like cat urine, and was filled with cat hair. Place was not clean at all. Owners did not contact me in regards to this. Absolutely horrible excuse of an apartment.
- Musabvir (1/5): - The room was tooo much smelly even though we used 2 bottle of room freshner its still smellu two of my friend vommit becaus3 of that no couldnt sleep on the bed of smell it was so bad and frustrating.
- Pierre (9/5): -
- Anita (10/5): -
- Masterson (10/5): Quick easy and stress free - The instructions given were easy to follow, as to where to park, how to open the door, where the bins were. It was stress free The only thing I would of liked if there was some milk in the fridge for a coffee or tea, but it wasn’t a big stress
- Steven (8/5): -
- Geekiyana (1/5): - I was handed the keys few hours later than the original check in time because they had an issue with their cleaner. When I checked in to the property around 5.30pm, the floors were still wet from cleaning. They offered a one our late checkout that’s all. The neighbourhood of the property was not good as I heard people in other apartments fighting and swearing at night. In addition, I have sent the property multiple requests to provide me the receipt of the payment and they have failed to provide it as well.

- Mohamad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Great place to stay for a family or group. - Nicely presented and modern.
Good facilities
Central location
- Jeffries (2/5): I regret booking this place and cannot recommend it. - Geographic location. There was no linen for bed in second bedroom, in spite of assurance via email that this bed would be made up.
Owners did not respond to messages or calls on either number they provided.
Traffic noise was a problem. Actual location against street was only given after booking.
Only 2 {?} pods provided for coffee machine. No milk.
- Margherita (10/5): Highly recommended - Clean, tidy and close to everything
- Mohd (8/5): Very good -
- Grant (8/5): Very good - Comfy and had all we needed Unfortunately the mirror/cabinet in the bathroom, fell apart when we were there. I am sure the host would have fixed it after we left as it was coincidence
- Amanda (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - The accomodation was clean and modern, close to everything great food places to vist
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Endersby (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (5/5): Not in a hurry to return - Lock on door didn’t work. After calling was able to get this fixed with a lock box spare key. The next morning no hot water. We left at 6am. After informing them about it, we were told to rest the hot water.
- Terry (4/5): The host was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early, which we appreciated. The location was convenien - Location, parking and early check in. Dirty, run down and bad odour.
- Reusch (7/5): Many positives to this unit although somethings could’ve improved. - Very close to public transport, affordable for facilities provided, parking onsite and easy to locate, close to lots of shop, porta cot and high chair provided, clean and tidy when we arrived. Bathroom could be more functional (the shower in the bath, as well as the shower head really close to the slope of the bath), fly screen needs to be fixed, ceiling in bathroom, hot water system stopped working (although Sam was quick to help with this), the blinds are mouldy (makes the unit smell when closed), high chair was dirty from last use, dishes left in the dishwasher, aircon doesn’t work well (left it on overnight and still felt cold the next morning).
- Jobson (8/5): Very good - Very convenient to public transport and facilities.
Off street parking.
Washing machine and dryer. Quite minor - better lighting in the living area.
- Romeo (7/5): Good -
- Julia (5/5): Unfortunately the MOULD made me sick. - I liked the location, it is a good apartment, well decorated. Nice host, left the heater on so we could arrive at a warmer place. There was a lot of mould in the curtains and the place was not clean. During the night, we kept sneezing with allergies, so I tried to move the bed away from the curtains, and ended up seeing a lot of dust as well. After our stay, we had red eyes and coughing for a few days.
- Anita (8/5): Great value for this neat, clean, modern unit - Excellent value for money. Nice unit, clean and modern. We would use again for future Melbournes trips. Responsive property manager who resolved a couple of matters promptly. Located in a quiet block of flats in great location. Off street parking. Suited our needs perfectly.
- Rachael (9/5): Superb -
- Loh (8/5): Very good -
- Shu (9/5): Superb -
- Charley (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! Locked out for over an hour and ants everywhere. - Location Our experience was utterly disappointing from start to finish. On the first night once we returned from our meal and drinks the electronic door code would not work. We were locked out for over an hour with no contact from anyone, as the electronic code provided did not work. When we finally received a code for a lockbox containing a spare key, it turned out to be so old and rusted that it was completely unusable. To make matters worse, after the first night, we discovered ants infesting many areas of the property. This experience was beyond unacceptable and left us thoroughly frustrated and disgusted.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (7/5): Pretty good, no hassles. - The value was awesome. The heaters being on and the place being warm when we arrived was very much appreciated. Wifi was useful. Communication was fine, except for the parking image. I couldn't load the map for parking. So I had to guess where to put the car. I decided that if the apartment was number '1' then it might be safe to park in spot '1'.
I found the shower awkward to stand under the water, because of the bath shape.
- Mick (8/5): Very good -
- Harfulls (8/5): Very good - Samuel was very helpful and a great communicator.
- Brynique (9/5): Superb -
- Boland (7/5): Very convenient to amenities and competitively priced - Location. Price. Cleanliness. Water pressure and temp in shower was great I little bit cold. The heater was a bit noisy. Suggest providing future visitors with a small amount of information on public transport
- John (8/5): Very good - A few tea bags would have been good.
I liked the ear plugs, they were useful.
- Sarah (8/5): We had a great stay and enjoyed the location - Owner was great to deal with and very accomodating. Instructions were thorough and easy to follow.
Loved how eat plugs were left as it’s a noisy street.
Easy to catch trams/train as stops very close by. Sofa bed very uncomfortable needs updating and needed a toaster in the apartment.
- Donna (8/5): Apartment was just what we wanted. Very clean and close to everything - Good location and very clean
- Lesley (10/5): Happy home Bayside Melbourne - Light filled rooms, the electronic key 😊 & the lovely peace & quiet added to our gorgeous pleasantly relaxing get away. We'd love to have stayed longer!
Thank you! Leaving. Wifi? Speakers?
- Austin (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Campbell (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (9/5): Lovely apartment suited to the great vibe of St Kilda experience! - We really enjoyed the experience of living in an a apartment in St Kilda. The whole vibe and experience went together very well. Great location great atmosphere and great food in the area.
- Athar (10/5): Will book it again the hosts are amazing. - Location is prime very convenient to transport and basic amenities. Easy communication
- James (7/5): For me an excellent location, but for a single person a one bedroom hotel room or serviced apartment is better value. No - Proximity to my relatives nearby. Pillows are cheap and uncomfortable, main room privacy blind was not workable (no chord/chain). Needs a Coolzy to provide bedroom cooling. Property looks rundown.
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kgor (10/5): Good for a quick stay - Off street parking and quiet street. An extra blanket would have been useful.
Did not realise the washing machine was also a dryer.
- Megan (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and convenient location. Close to plenty of food options and supermarkets. Sofa bed ok for one nights stay.
- Kent (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to find and access. comfy, quiet, plenty of space. close to shops.
great place to stay.
- Iris (8/5): Pleasant and relaxing. - Instructions on how to find the place were made easy. Door code to enter saved fumbling with keys. Ear plugs provided as it is on a semi busy street. Host communication was great. 7-Eleven about 2 minutes walk for necessities. Food stores / take aways within easy walking distance. Pretty much stress free. Only one car park per unit. We travelled from Brisbane in 3 cars, moving to Melbourne. Had to find parking on the street in line with parking signs. Not the host’s fault - they were great with communication - but perhaps booking.com.au could add a feature that asks about car count. Not all travellers are in one vehicle.
- Jarrad (5/5): Communication was poor. - Easy tram ride to Luna Park Communication was poor - no response to messages or phone calls.
TV didn’t work.
Ceiling in bathroom is falling apart.
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (9/5): Superb - Great location. Close to train and tram
- Minu (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (9/5): Superb - Neat, clean & very handy location
- Darren (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karina (9/5): A great spot - wish we had more time to fully appreciate it. - Very clean and tastefully decorated. Good location. A little noisy on the road. Bathroom ceiling needs a repaint.
- Ruzaidah (9/5): Superb -
- Lei (9/5): Superb -
- Stuart (8/5): Very good - Location pet friendly comfy layout Dish washer full of dirty dishes, paint peeling from bathroom roof ,
- Abbey (9/5): Superb - Great location, nice and clean and well presented when we arrived
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sinn (10/5): Thank you Sam. - Sam and Larena were helpful and courteous Sofa bed is very uncomfortable
- Keith (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and spacious Wooden floorboards throughout, cold & echoey
No additional blankets for beds
- Tearo (9/5): Nice and cosy great for families - Nice and cosy perfect for families
Hassle free booking
Asked for ground level apartment for our elderly family member which was granted
Couldn't see the check out time on the policy so I messaged them and got a response within minutes
Overall enjoyed our stay
- Lan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ibrahim (7/5): Good stay in Melbourne - Good location in the city, easy to find and a private car park. A bit noisy as this apartment is facing the road where it was really noisy when the tram passed!
Heater is only in the dining room and the small portable heaters in the two rooms are really not effective!
- Chivers (9/5): Superb -
- Renae (9/5): Superb -
- Williams (4/5): Disappointing - Nice and clean The power would cut out every so often and the hot water would not work properly.
- Vanessa (4/5): Disappointing - We had no hot water on the premises
- Luedeeporn (10/5): Exceptional - The location is very convenient close to tram and convenient store
- Raquel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - Great location for what we were there for. Off street carpark was great. Good space inside for our 2 kids, 2 adults and 2 babies in the portacot. Comfortable home away from home. Fridge could do with an upgrade and bathroom ceiling a repaint, but overall didn't impact our stay.
- Sarahwhitney (7/5): Just ok - Great location for public transport but noisy. Ear plugs were provided. Easy parking. Easy access. Although we requested early check in the room wasn't ready until 1505 when stated check in time was 1500. The owner was a bit difficult to contact via messaging. The peeling paint in the bathroom is quite unsightly. And the exhaust fan needs a clean. Most of the windows were locked shut and keys not provided. The blinds in the master room are very dirty potentially mouldy. The oven was dirty. One of the chairs broken. The face washer started to disintegrate when I washed my face. There was bedside lamps with no globes. Coffee machine was provided however not even a very small milk was provided.
- Warren (9/5): excellent stay for the short visit for the world championship trials in Melbourne - nice cosy and comfortable nothing
- Alison (10/5): Great amenities and location - Amenities great, great location Fuller pillows would of bee in good
- Anonymous (8/5): Cheap and nice place to stay almost near Melbourne. - The apartment is valued for a big family of 6 like us. Nice place and good neighbors as assistance for a phone call to host on the unlock code.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sijo (6/5): it was just okay - location is convenient. the kitchen was really good. and have a very good tv and sofa. I requested a cot for my child but they didnt provide me. the issue I faced was dirty in front of the door and the key was not easy to get in the first time our family was in the frozen temperature for around half an hour to know the code of the key box outside. the bed lamps inside the room have no bulbs.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sri (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tara (6/5): Pleasant - Options for dinner where great all within walking distance, supermarkets also. Convenient location for our stay to go to MSAC. Car park off the street near the unit was good. Sofa bed, was not comfortable, there was a spare pillow and quilt in the cupboard, however no linen, pillow case, bottom sheet for the sofa bed. Would not say that it comfortably slept 5.
Ceiling in the bathroom needs attention, massive peeling paint.
- Wei-fang (9/5): Superb - Very convenience location, tram stop was just few metres away. Kitchen has everything we needed, even had coffee pods! It was so lovely to have good coffee early in the morning. :) Beds are very comfy. Parking was so easy, neighbourhood is actually really quiet at night. Just a little bit far from the city, but it's not the problem with trams. Communication with the host was really easy. Thank you for the lovely place. Nothing, everything is good.
- Jignesh (9/5): Superb -
- Bruce (8/5): Very good - clean, would recommend. there was a banging noise nearby at night which disturbed sleep
