Guest Reviews
- julian (8/5): Glorious room - The room was very comfy and clean. Nice big TV and some lovely coffee and tea. The bed was perfect. Was very impressed with the room. The F3 bus brings you very close to the property so its just one bus drive from the city. Easy to get in and out. If you are a sensitive sleeper or wake up easily I would advise bringing ear plugs. There seems to be a lot of dogs in the area and they do tend to shut up during the night but can randomly start barking at any point. Luckily I had my earplugs so I slept through that. Not that its a problem just its best to know so you can come prepared.
- Marta (9/5): Comfortable stay, friendly host, alright location. Would book again! - Extremely clean and spacious. The room was great and the host was very friendly. The location could be better but it is not far away from the centre and there is a bus stop in the area. The bathroom has a glass door, not transparent more like frosted glass but it was weird going to the bathroom.

- ER_123 (6/5): - Location to the Hospital Owner of the house never greeted even though he was present in the house

- Kayley (10/5): - Handy location for the sports Arena. Friendly host. Clean room. Only niggles would be that it would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge for a cup of coffee or tea after flying in but couldn't fault anything else. Excellent stay. Would recommend.

- BRIAN (8/5): - Good location, Room was clean and comfortable Room was a little bit cold overnight but when I asked for an extra blanket it was given to me so it was all good then

- matthew (3/5): - Room in a shared house. Host was friendly but room right next to bathroom. Other occupants using shower/ bathroom all evening kept us awake. Located opposite halting site. Noisy dogs barking. Couldn't sleep until after midnight. Paper thin walls. Comfortable Bed and Clean. Noisy. Not ideal if you need to get some sleep. We had a 5am wake up to get a flight. Exhausted.
- Lubica (8/5): Very pleasant and aesthetic. - Very kind host, beautiful room, silent area. All was very good! I'm very satisfied ☺️

- Laura (10/5): - Daniel was an amazing host! Super kind and helpful. The room was cozy and perfect for a weekend.
I will definitely stay here again!
- Bacriv (10/5): -
- Dominika (10/5): - Great place for a short stay 😊 We had a beautiful, large room. I recommend it.
- Khondoker (1/5): When I reached the last bus stop I couldn’t found the house address so that I called the house owner but he didn’t answe - It was too far away from Dublin airport and need to change two buses No bad
Danke Daniel.
- ANDY (9/5): Dublin High Quality Homestay, with ease of commuting routes to the Airport & City Centre - High quality furnishings and Room Decor without a doubt
Good Shower
Responsive Host
Proximity to commuting routes for both the airport & city centre..
Very Clean
Decent Mattress Nothing really..

- Ashley (9/5): - Had a lovely stay here. The place was comfortable and clean. Would recommend Nothing

- Tara (10/5): Daniel is super responsive and accommodating host. Room and bed are amazing and place is spotless clean. All we needed f - Super clean, bed very comfortable and Daniel is amazing host.
- Fiona (6/5): Basic but decent accommodation in a somewhat sad suburb - The host, Daniel, was flexible with check-in. The room was clean and modern with lots of space for clothes hanging and the bed was very comfortable. The area was relatively quiet. There was some water and glasses and small snacks provided on the first day. The shared bathroom was clean and spacious. It was comfortable enough for a couple of nights. An iron and board were provided on request and there was a hairdryer and European to UK/IE plug converter in the room. No coffee or tea in the morning, or any time, sadly. The kitchen and living room area were off limits to guests and although we heard people coming and going, and heard the hosts in the kitchen as we were leaving one morning, we never saw anybody and this felt a bit strange and impersonal. We kind of felt like we should make ourselves as quiet and invisible as possible. It's all very automated, though that also makes if convenient. The area is a bit rough and remote. Even the closest shop is something like a 15 minute walk. Having breakfast in the morning was a challenge. After we checked ourselves out we heard nothing more from the host. Daniel told me he would lend me a Leap Card but I guess he forgot and I had to buy one. We still don't know who lives there. It felt more like a cross between an Airbnb and a hostel than a homestay really. Everything from IKEA, even the wall art, which was a bit depressing. Also, there was no fan.
- Peep (9/5): Great - The host was very friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and got to use the kitchen for breakfast which was great. Neighbourhood felt safe and the public transportation was convenient. The fact that the bathroom is shared wasn’t a problem. The bus to the airport is not the most convenient, because it makes a longer trip.
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - The room was decorated lovely and spotlessly clean . No tea or coffee station and a television would have been nice in the room .location was perfect for us as we were attending Cappagh Hospital which was only four mins away .
- Ebenezer (7/5): Good -
- Guowei (9/5): Superb -
- Egor (8/5): Overall I liked my stay in Dublin. I very much appreciate owners flexibility, as he allowed us to check-in early, and ch - Clean room, nice bed, flexible and pleasant room owner, ability to get to the city centre and airport with the public transport Dirty fridge, dirty electric kettle, no disposable bathroom accessories
- Marie (9/5): Great - Quiet location. Limited onstreet parking
- Dimpsey (8/5): Very good -
- Petro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Stocco (9/5): Superb - It's pretty clean and with some treats It is a little far from the centre, but it is close to the bus stop
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication,, place was immaculate and cosy. Had complimentary drinks and snacks in the room including a paddy's day hairband for my daughter. Would definitely rebook in the future.
- Alberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Artwell (10/5): Exceptional - The place is so clean Nothing I didn't like at all
- Marvellous (8/5): It was okay but we are talking little little not talking properly - It’s very neat I was not able to talk properly
- Yusuff (8/5): Very good - The spacious layout, the cozy environment, and the quiet neighborhood. A perfect balance of comfort and privacy. Nothing much. I just feel like it’s a bit expensive.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (2/5): Not worth the price! Go to a hotel. - The bed was comfortable! Shared bathroom!
- Rakhohori (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martinez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (5/5): Passable - Room was clean bed was comfy. Was fine for one night Felt like we couldn't relax we came in around half 12 at night to go to bed and got a text from the owner straight away saying we were being noisy I dropped my phone by accident and got a text immediately about it to keep it down. Also someone was hovering and making excessive noise downstairs first thing in the morning so it was very hypocritical to get that text the way we did. The room we had also didn't have a TV.
- Mcginn (4/5): Be aware you are booking a bedroom in a person's current living space. - The bed was nice, and they clearly tried to make the room welcoming. It should have been clear on the website that this is in somebody's house. When I've booked shared residences in the past, the whole building is segmented rooms that are individually booked out or the person living there is away from the rented space and you don't share a space. When we got there, it was clearly just somebody's house, and there was a person in the living room playing video games with volume, camera, and mic on. This was not what we expected.
The wifi was too slow to watch anything, and although the host can't control other people in the house, people came in at 11:30pm dragging their cases up the stairs, then reorganized their closets to which we heard metal hangers scraping against the metal bar, they continuously slammed the wardrobe doors, got in a fight, threw up violently then took 4 back to back showers. They finally quieted around 1:30am.
There were kids in the park across from the residence setting off small fireworks for hours on end - I'm impressed they had so many fireworks. There were two dogs close by that barked incessantly all night, and I think the host has pets they didn't tell about on the booking website because my clothes were covered in short hairs from the bed, and my allergies were acting up.
The mini fridge was not plugged in, so it smelled gross when you opened it, and there was some pink and sticky liquid on the shelves that was starting to smell rancid.
If I had known what I was signing myself up for, I don't think I would have booked the space. But it's a fair price for being close to the airport.
- Keri-leigh (10/5): Really appreciated the late night snack box, class wee touch. - Nice host, lovely decor, super clean. it was all good tbh
- Carole (7/5): Great for 1 night for the airport. - Daniel was the most attentive host.
The bed was super comfy
Lovely decor Very loud. I should have read the description properly, this was a home stay
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Mcivor (9/5): Superb -
- Sophia (9/5): Superb - Both the room and bathroom were beautifully furnished and very clean. Most of all, our host Daniel was extremely kind and welcoming,
accommodating for a late check-in and going out of his way to make us feel comfortable.
Additionally, the bus stop for bus line 40 to the city centre was less than a 10 minute walk away.
- Jürgen (3/5): Dangerous Area - Avoid Renting Rooms - The room similar to the pictures on booking Recession Warning: Dangerous Area - Avoid Renting Rooms
We want to alert everyone about a hazardous area where it is forbidden to rent rooms. The rooms may look appealing as shown in the picture, but the area is classified as a high-risk social zone.
Area Condition: This area has been deemed unsafe based on multiple warnings from three separate individuals. Their concerns were validated through our research on Google, confirming the risks associated with staying here.
Immediate Action: Based on these credible warnings, we vacated the area immediately and found alternative accommodation.
Important Advice: Before you book any rooms, please take extra precautions. The rooms may appear attractive, but the surrounding area is dangerous.
- Sarah (1/5): My expectations were very different bae - The room itself was comfortable, and the host was nice. 1) The shared bathroom was not clean. The sink would not drain, and the bathtub was dirty. 2) I did not realize based on the description in booking.com that this is a house, with the rooms being booked as a bed and breakfast style description. There were two other people in the two other bedrooms of the house. Both were loud and used very bad language - I’m traveling with my 10-year-old daughter and this language late at night was not appreciated. 3) I was told we could use the kitchen to prepare our own breakfast. There was food in the trash can that had been there for a while, and cigarette butts had clearly been emptied into another trash can. All surfaces were dirty, and it was not very usable. 4) we were kept up until late in the evening by dogs barking loudly.
If I were 20 years old wanting to book rooms in a hostel-like environment, I would have had no problem with this place - however, then I would have found it exceedingly expensive. My experience here simply did not justify the price. I think the description should be updated to explain a bit better. I would not have booked this place if I had known what it actually was - it’s not appropriate for traveling with a child.
- Adina (9/5): Superb -
- Patrick (7/5): My stay was okay and happy it was not too far from the Dublin Airport. - It was near enough for me to the airport. It was a very nice room. The bed was comfortable. It was clean and modern. I could hear dogs barking in the distance early in the evening. The bathroom was shared. I received very clear messages but no direct human contact. I did not like the street parking.
- Elaina (9/5): Superb -
- Jian (9/5): Very happy stay for two nights. - Nice room and comfortable bed
- Matteo (9/5): Superb - Clean place, not too close nor too far from city centre
- Carole (6/5): It was creepy. - No breakfast., no host, creepy without a host for 4 da6s and other guests staying there that I never saw. Someone opened my door in the night so I had to be very careful to lock my door even when going to the bathroom. They key and lock were difficult to operate
The hist still had Christmas decorations up like he hadn't been there in months.
It really bothered me that the host wasn't there, and he never checked on me over the phone.
- Ubah (10/5): Thank you. - Excellent Everything was great
- Lysa (10/5): Beautiful room - fantastic host . - Fantastic host - great communication - beautiful room with loads of lovely snacks . Nothing
- Iryna (10/5): Nice stay in good apartment - The apartment was clean, the host prepared some snacks and toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and the host was very helpful - we did not have small money to buy tickets, so he helped us with that issue. Big thanks! It is not a disadvantage, however note that the property is about 30-40 minutes by bus from the city center.
- Xareni (10/5): Great stay for the weekend! - Daniel is a great host, he is always available to answer any questions and for giving recommendations to enjoy Dublin.
The room was very comfortable and clean, we love to stay at his place; highly recommended! It take aprox 20 minutes to get to downtown.
- Quirk (2/5): Very poor -
- Gagyi (10/5): Nice and helping staff. - The house was very nice and clean. The owner made our stay better by leaving some snacks and drinks in our dorm. Every time we needed help he was there/he responded imediatly. I feel like the house did not had any problems. The location was a litle bit far from the city center, but there was a direct bus.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - A bit pricy but very clean and nice

The bed was very comfortable and had a lot of pillows. The hosts were exceptionally friendly. They gave us a bunch of snacks for free and printed a personalised welcome note, which was very nice. Also we had a lovely dinner with the hosts.
