• Tina (1/5): Save yourself the heart ache and don’t stay here. - Location The apartment was a hygiene hazard and very unclean. Kitchen - the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty finger smudges all over the windows. Greasy had marks all over the kitchen cupboards and drawer handles. Food crumbs in the cutlery drawer. Rubbish bin had food splats all over it along with the cup door and cupboard. Grease marks on splash back. Food splats on the walls. There were no dishwasher tablets. Bedroom 1 - had dirty linen scrunched up in the cupboard and rubbish in the drawers. Bathroom - wasn’t cleaned. Shower had soap grime marks all over the walls. Ensuite bathroom - had an awful stench coming from it which smelt out the bedroom. The drain was filthy. We pulled up the drain grate and it was covered in black and public hairs. The shower shelf was dirty and had someone left over shampoo bottles and razor. The shower wasn’t cleaned either was the toilet. The rubbish bin had splashes of something on it that went up the wall and the hand soap dispenser had hairs stuck to it. Both bathroom exhaust fans didn’t work. Futon bed - had food stains on it and no linen supplied for it. We needed up having to buy our own sheets for it from the local supermarket. Laundry - the dryer lint drawer was clogged up and dryer didn’t work properly. Balcony - the balcony was dirty and covered in cobwebs. Some kid had drawn pictures all over the balcony glass with a bright coloured texta. Lounge - the mat on the floor was dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned. It had stains and food stains on it. The contact number on the booking for Anthony didn’t go through. We messaged him via booking. Com. We messaged as soon as we got to the apartment around 6:00pm. He didn’t care. We asked if he had another apart we could swap to but the response was that it wasn’t a hotel. The best he could do was send a cleaner Saturday. We said that we couldn’t stay in the apartment in that condition and that it wasn’t a hygiene hazard. He said he would send the cleaner that night.
• Tracey (8/5): Great views and location - The location was brilliant close to trams restaurants etc. it was very clean and it was easy to pick up the keys. Whilst there were no hosts on site the team were very responsive when I rang and emailed. The only complaint was the lack of supplies like soap toilet paper etc. You pay a lot of money and got very limited supplies. Also there were not enough chairs for us to sit at the table if there were 6 people.
• Frank (2/5): It’s cheap for a reason. - Location. The cleanliness of the apartment was shocking. Smashed glass all over the balcony, old chicken wings still in the oven.
