Guest Reviews
- Francesca (4/5): if you want to sleep don’t go - location was good i booked this room only for the night as i’ve been to a concert and for me was really important to have a good night of sleep but jesus noises everywhere!!! at 7am hoovering the floor? 3 am walking around? talking? jesus
- Anita (5/5): - Great communication from the owner. Clear instructions on how to get in, sent the day before arrival. Beds were really comfortable. The room did not look like the one I thought we had booked. Was a bit cramped for 4, but not bad for the money. No kettle in the room or tea bags. Also, only 3 coffee pods for the four of us.
- Skiba (10/5): - I was expecting it to be noisy outside because I'd read the reviews. But the apartment is on a very quiet street. At night, when I returned around 11 p.m., it was safe. There was nothing that disappointed me. For the price, it was exactly what I expected.
- Guest (1/5): Do not stay here - Arrived within the check in times and the codes for our apartment were not working. It took 10 phone calls and numerous texts over 40 minutes before the host replied. A further 30 minutes were spent on facetime to the host just to confirm the codes were not working. Eventually we were put in another apartment but had to be out the next day by 10 to move to a different apartment and the codes still did not work either!!!!! Took valuable time of our trip and caused stress and on top of this felt very unsafe in the apartment block and wasn’t very clean!!!
- Paul (6/5): Great place, great location spoilt by the behaviour of other guests - Location good, the room itself was pleasant and clean Stench of smoking in the communal area and excrement on the floor
- Borislav (8/5): Very good -
- Johana (10/5): Exceptional - Worth the money.
- Johana (10/5): Perfection - Perfection, hospitality was great, location was good . Worth the price Nothing
- Penny (8/5): Very good - Easy location for the Emirates stadium
- Jacqui (7/5): Good -
- Gomes (10/5): Good - Good place I recommend
- Hayley (5/5): Passable - Close to where we needed to be. Clean. House, flat, room. Negleted property like many rentals in London.
- Bruno (10/5): Great location - “I stayed at this studio for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with local recommendations.
- Healy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruno (6/5): Pleasant - Attention: capsule de café mis à disposition pas conforme à la machine
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Fahad (1/5): Bad - There was a mouse in the room
- Michael (6/5): It was nice -
- Gerlane (9/5): Good budget accommodation - Helpful host and price
- Anıl (3/5): Poor -
- Parastoo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Guillermo (1/5): Very disgusting place - Nothing Everything was disgusting, so dirty, hairs in the bed sheets, towels looking so old all bedding too looking old,
in the Fridge and everywhere, bin was not even empthy, dust everywhere, coffee marks on the self above the kichenette, under the bed you could even see a vaper and lots of dust from other customers, smeel so much tobacco inside, we have decided to book somewhere else, I have never seen a so dirty place before, after that, we didn't even stay there after seen the horrible condition of this room.
- Roger (4/5): Disappointing - It was freezing with the heating on.
- Chandrakanta (1/5): Not suitable to stay (dirty rooms) - I didn't like to stay there and left that property. Very dirty room (handed over without cleaning). My son was sick by standing inside the room in 10 minutes. The check-in time was 3 pm. I arrived there at 6.10pm but the property was not cleaned at all. I left the property without staying there and returned back. Property deserves a negative star. The Victoria railway station is cleaner than that room. There is so much smell inside the bathroom and not able to take photos. Other photos I shared.
- Raiane (10/5): Exceptional - Good location and helpful hoster!!
- Celio (10/5): Exceptional - No breakfast at the location as on the add already saying but great places very close to the flat which I prefer to go out What is on the add was there for my was perfect
- Michely (10/5): I would definitely stay here again! - It's literally a beautiful space, cosy, calm and safe, I didn't have any difficulty accessing, and the hosts gave me all the necessary assistance, comfortable mattress, and extremely clean environment! I would definitely stay here again!
- Hindol (8/5): Very good -
- Nathan (3/5): Poor -
- Mark (3/5): Poor - The bed was comfy Our apartment door was lying slighlty opened when we came back after leaving for the evening. (we closed it and checked it was locked b4 leaving)
The radiator didnt work. ( was chilly when we arrived back)
Some1 opened our door at 5am in the morning. And tried to enter. Then she apologised. And closed it shut! Wen she seen us sleeping/woken in the bedroom.
- Karl (5/5): Passable - It's was nice and cosy Chair broke Wen I sat on it and banged my head off table and shower pressure wasnt the best as U turn the hot on
- Leao (10/5): 5 Star - Easy communication with the host, fast response.
Smooth self check in with clear instructions.
Clean and tidy!
- Marica (4/5): Disappointing - The property is in a quiet residential area, 20 mins walking to Finsbury Park station. There’s off license and stores as soon as you get to the Main Street, which is about 5 mins from the property. The WiFi kept disconnecting and overall the place is not very clean. Our room didn’t even have a closet, so we had to keep our clothes in the suitcase.
- Kadrija (2/5): To sum everything up, sad to see that someone has to live in a place where the owner is that awful. - The mattresses and the upstairs neighbors were the only good thing. Very hard to find the apartments. The owner is absolutely careless, couldn’t get in contact with him. Met a couple who also booked an apartment for 3 nights and couldn’t get in their apartment so had to search for a hotel at 3am. Very noisy place, could hear everything that’s happening at night (TV’s, other people talking, running trough the staircase)
- Robyn (7/5): Home away from home but lots of noise - The amenities were really good, I travel to London for work once a week, I stayed in London for a week this time and I was looking for an apartment with kitchen amenities... A home away from home. I have stayed in multiple self contained studios and this one has had the most to offer in terms of equipment available which I really appreciated. Shampoos and body washes on the house, the bathroom and kitchen were clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Having the bunk bed meant there was plenty of space available should there have been more than just myself. The access to a small outside space was nice, I just wish the weather was nice so I could have enjoyed it more. I had issues getting into the flat when I first arrived but I called the host directly and he picked up straight away was super friendly and helpful and I managed to work the lock and get in.
Coffee pods available for the coffee machine, sugar tea and instant coffee as well. Plenty of pans for cooking, microwave and a double electric hob to cook with was great! I would stay again when I need somewhere for more than a night or two in future. The walls within the house are very thin! Something you have to be mindful of, but understandable as it is a busy household with lots of tenants, and you can't just knock the walls down and rebuild. Staying in london for this price you have to accept there are going to be some downfalls. During the week I was there as a solo female there were times I didn't feel completely relaxed and comfortable. One night I had police ring the door bell and knocking on my door at 1am looking for someone who they believed lived in one of the flats (not this studio in particular but asking tenants if they knew the person they were looking for) Again this is uncontrollable, a one off, and not to do with this apartment individually but may be something to take into consideration if you're a solo female there's lots of people moving around, lots of noise and it wasn't always the most relaxing place to be at night. However there was a security latch on the door which made me feel safer. And I would stay here again despite this.
No TV which isn't the end of the world and not really space but again something to note if staying for more than a night or two bring a laptop with you!
- Stee (8/5): Very good -
- Ross (3/5): Poor - The room was okay, and the staff were helpful Noise from other room, smell of cigarette smoke, blinds were damaged so let light though
- Judit (5/5): Next time I wouldn’t choose this place. - It really had an own bathroom and some kitchen stuffs. The price was kinda reasonable, the communication was good. There was mold everywhere when we got into to building, trash in the front. The bathroom wasn’t clean. We really missed a drawer, there isn’t any place to put your clothes. The neighbours were loud, the lights were out in the corridor.
- Abid (8/5): Very good -
- Lauryne (7/5): Good - The appartment was very clean, a bit smaller than what we thought but cosy overall. The neighbours were nice themselves, close to the underground (between 5/10min walk) many bus stops nearby as well.
Bonus point for the bed that was very comfortable. Even tho the neighbours were nice they tended to be very loud, we've been woken up by someone consistently ringing the bell to go find one of the neighbours and they ended up screaming many times.
- Stee (8/5): Very good -
- Javier (3/5): The building belongs to a horror movie - The room wasn’t bad, it seems like they made some improvement works some years ago and the neighborhood was ok. The building was disgusting. Firstly, there were a lot of dirty clothes and shoes lying on the garden. Then, once you enter in the building, the walls are almost black due to the humidity. Floor and carpet of the stairs are filthy. Garbage and cigarettes on the floor everywhere. The other tenants of the building (who seems that live there) are very noisy everyday until late (talking very loud and listening to music). The room smells weird, like humidity and smoke (probably due to the tenants). The bed wasn’t comfortable.
I understand that the owner is not responsible for the behavior of the tenants, but I still think it’s an information that needs to be known.
I was supposed to stay 4 days, but after 2 nights I went to a hotel.
- Nur (1/5): Bad - I didn’t because the toilet was smelling there is no air in the room.
- Stee (7/5): Good -
- Kiera (5/5): Fine - The room itself was nicely decorated, had an iron, fridge, etc and bits we needed, and the room itself did look like the pictures provided. Clean towels and bedding provided.
The host did answer the phone immediately when we had issues entering the room. The bed was really wobbly so I kept feeling like I was sea sick during the night, and the areas of the property outside of the room were DISGUSTING like black mould, filthy carpets, random rubbish and bags in the hallways.
There was also nothing to wash with in the bathroom like shampoo or shower gel or conditioner (which is fine I know it’s not common everywhere but it felt weird to have a coffee machine but no soap)
- William (1/5): Don't stay here - Room was clean Building smelt of smoke
Damp throughout building
Unclean entrance way and stairs
No toilet roll, hair dryer or coffee machine as sold.
Shower did not work.
Terrible mattress, ended up sleeping on floor
Clear evidence of break in next room.
Made me feel unsafe and unwilling to leave belongings in room
No response from host when I messaged about issues
Did not stay for second night.
- David (3/5): Poor - Room beside mine got broken into. Had to bring all my stuff with me when going out at night.
- Sango (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (5/5): If you need somewhere to rest your head - Good location, clean Entrance halls very dirty, thin walls, I know it’s London but value for money is borderline
- Stephanie (7/5): Good -
- Ayesha (1/5): Sad & very Unfortunate and I Lost Money - It's been unfortunate we haven't stayed in the property. We entered and checked the property after arriving at the airport at midnight and left right away for another place to stay overnight. We were on the road with children at that time. It was not like what we expected. I booked two studios for 3 nights paid $750.00 and nonrefundable, one single and another family. But they are not close to each other. Each studio room is completely separate and far from the other room. You go through stairs from room to room. The stairs and the corridor are dark, smelly, and creepy. Wondering what kind of building is in the heart of Lindon City? How does Booking.com allow this property in their listing? They should send their local agents to check the property. When we entered the building, the floor was dirty, and filthy, letters, brochures, and magazines were on the floor and the stairs. Funny and damp smell in the building. The property is so congested. We had to go stairs door to door to find the room. The room was clean but there was a damp smell. The bedding also smells damp. I spoke with the property management and booking. com Staff no one helped me really and I am sad to lose that huge amount of money and not recommended for anyone.
- Alireza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (5/5): Passable - Tenant is not responding on time.
Door locks are not working properly.
Property so conjusted.
- Trish (3/5): Poor - Unkempt front garden, with rubbish and bins lining the path inside the hallway had no flooring exposed brick walls, plaster ripped off not a good first impression. Room was much smaller than photos indicated.
- David (4/5): Much smaller than expected and too small for 3 people really. For sleeping only nothing else. - That there was a double and single bed that fit into the one room (bunkbed style). Very small room for 3 people. Outside space in just a small concrete space.
- Samrwit (1/5): Very bad and unfortunate - Nothing First of all it was very dirty and smelly and never recommended for a family specially with kids plus when I was booked the room I mentioned the kids ages but the kids room was down stairs and the adults rooms were upstairs all kids are under ages if anything come how can protect themselves I spoke with property management and booking.com staff no one can help me really am sad and recommend for any one
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Amelia (9/5): Superb -
- Georgina (5/5): Needs better entrance and sound proofing - As you walked in, the corridor to the room was filthy. There were letters all over the floor and plaster missing from the walls so brick was exposed.
The flat itself was nice however you can hear everything happening outside of the flat and all noise carries into the room. The cleaning staff were lovely however asked to come and clean my room whilst I was in there a few times, despite me telling them it was fine and I wanted to be left alone.
I also requested a studio room and was given a room with a bunk bed which was not necessary as it was only me travelling.
There was no wifi password readily available so I had to ring. I also had to ring as instructions to enter the flat were unclear and there should be something that said turn the handle to the right not left to enter.
Overall, the room and building left me feeling a little unsettled and I am glad it was only a short night stay.
- Megan (5/5): Passable -
- Steph (8/5): Very good -
- England (7/5): Good -
- Zhang (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jose (9/5): Superb -
- Venketesh (6/5): Our stay was okay. It would have been nicer if it weren’t for the smells coming from outside. - It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It also had good access to public transportation. The main hallway walls were somewhat shabby and there was a strong cigarette smell. There was another strange smell also coming from the back patio.
- Darren (5/5): Did the job - Easy to get in, location good. No real bedding on top bunk, main entrance to property in a poor state
- Davi (10/5): I'll book again - Fully equipped and clean studio
Helpful host
Good budget price
- Stevie (7/5): It’s ok for a very temporary stay, which is what we used it for - Cosy and comfortable The balcony was quite bad. Full of water and mould. Had to close the door.
Service is bad too
Toilet doesn’t flush properly
- Alexandra (6/5): Sufficient for a few nights if you’re not asking much - The room was very clean and the host helpful. The room was very small. Weird smell at the building but the most annoying part was the noisy tenants that went in and out their room all night long slamming the door. Very poor soundproof.
- Damian (5/5): Passable - Good location Very noisy during the night
- Lisa (6/5): Decent for the price. - Clean and nicely decorated. Helpful instructions and easy to find. Could not get a phone signal, no WiFi or TV.
- Catherine (8/5): Nice little studio, shame about the noise - Cleanliness, had everything we needed VERY noisy neighbours, coming and going all night, funny smell in building, got very little sleep, wifi signal very poor, studio was cold and no instructions for heater which we worked out after a while
- Amin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keely (1/5): Rubbish - Never got inside and owner was ignoring my
calls
- Jamie (7/5): Cheap* and cheerful accomodation (* for London) - Clean and compact apartment. A good deal for a self contained apartment in London if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep. I didn't use it but there is a well equipped kitchenette with all you need if you did want to make food. Coffee maker etc. Shower fine. Area not bad and well linked with buses. A TV in the room might be a good addition. Main front door to the building was not lockable or even closable whilst I was there. Not a huge deal as there are still two locked doors to the apartment itself, but would have been more reassuring if it worked properly.
- Barbie (8/5): Very good - Nice studio with everything A little bit tiny for two friends traveling together, it would be better with internet
- Karim (10/5): The place was perfect, you’ll have everything you need except for mobile internet.I would gladly recommend this place. - everything No network cover or internet
