• Fernando (8/5): Ubicación preciosa - Las chicas de recepción y las cocineras fueron un encanto solucionando cualquier duda, adaptando el desayuno a una persona celíaca. Mención especial la senda que tiene el hotel para recorrer con tranquilidad y ver mucha fauna. Incluso por la zona de las habitaciones hay cosas que ver. La habitación que nos tocó estaba un poco estropeada y necesita una reforma, sobre todo el baño.

• Paula Sanchez (8/5): - Que está rodeado de naturaleza. Tiene buena relación calidad/precio. Muy buena opción si no vas a estar todo el día en el hotel y más bien salir a hacer tours y llegar a descansar a un lugar tranquilo, seguro, limpio. El cuarto casi no tiene toma corrientes para cargar.

• MJL (8/5): Heel fijn verblijf, rustige plek. - De kamers vielen mee m.b.t. wat de foto's lieten zien; dus eigenlijk tijd voor betere foto's, zou ik zeggen. De plek was heel fijn (rustig) en mooi opgezet (halve maanvorm rondom centraal grasveld). Verder alles aanwezig voor aangenaam verblijf, zoals koffie en koelkast. Heel aardige staf, behulpzaam en vol met tips. De wandeling op het eigen terrein was top! De receptie, waarbij ontbijt (wat op zichzelf prima was), was wat donker. Wat frissere muren (wit, lichtgroen), zou het wat vrolijker maken, dat is alles.

Spent a lot of time helping me arrange reservations and guides and transportation to parks and attractions. First night room was not totally clean. 1 stained bedspread, some dirt on floor, only had one key to room for me and my friend to share which was difficult.

The location was good with the coffee shop, gift shop & Stella’s restaurant in easy walking distance. It was very, very basic; no frills, kind of like a camp from my younger days.

• Iratxe (8/5): Buen alojamiento para conocer Monteverde - Original conjunto de cabañas en mitad de la naturaleza. Con sendero propio donde poder avistar animales, y zona de hamacas para poder relajarse. El alojamiento facilita información de los tours y hace reservas con transporte incluido. Alicia nos atendió excelentemente y nos facilito mucho nuestra estancia. Desayuno muy bueno con varias opciones. Sin ser algo negativo, al no tener restaurante el hotel (solo para desayunos) seria un punto a favor una cocina común para poder preparar comidas o cenas y ampliar así la experiencia de hotel y compartir experiencias con otros huéspedes.

• julie (10/5): Full of Wildlife - This place is amazing. The location is fantastic for seeing animals and birds. We paid to go in the nearby ark and only saw caterpillars and small birds, but we saw so much more wildlife just sitting in the hammock here. We saw armadillo, plenty of capuchin monkeys, as well as the coati that seemed to live nearby. Best of all, there is a walk through the forest within the sure and we saw at very close quarters a 2 metre long boa constrictor. The place is amazing. Staff are lovely and so helpful, breakfast is fab and sets you up for the day. There is lots of room in the grounds and hammocks to chill in.

• Camille (10/5): Perfect combination of comfort and nature! - The location is amazing! You wake up with hummingbirds right outside the window. You can hear the wildlife at night. The trails are very nice and well maintained. The personnel is amazing, super friendly and they really help you to book tours or recommend restaurants or activities. It’s also a few meters from an amazing coffee shop! (Try their affogato it’s to die for).

• Ana (9/5): - Alicia foi absolutamente incansável a ajudar-nos com a marcação da excursão. Na verdade todos os funcionários foram incríveis, desde a cozinha ao senhor que nos ajudou a encontrar o trilho. Muito simpáticos para todos!
• Phoebe (10/5): Pura Vida to the max - Alyssia and all staff were so incredibly helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to help us with our late arrival, taxi bookings and restaurant recommendations. The lodge is beautiful, set in extensive and established gardens with dense forest and birdsong all around. Hearing the gentle roar of the wind through the trees was deeply relaxing. We really appreciated the location too, walking distance to Curi Cancha reserve, the Children's Rainforest and the lovely Casem and coffee centre. We would have loved to stay longer, but really look forward to returning in the future for some more Pura Vida. Everything was great -there was nothing we didn't like.

La colazione è buonissima e la stanza viene pulita ogni giorno senza costi aggiuntivi. La stanza è molto luminosa e spaziosa. C’è tanta pace e tranquillità. La strada per arrivare è un po’ tortuosa se la macchina non è adeguata. Facciamo fatica a trovare dei difetti.

She helped is with so much of our stay helping with transportation, recommendations for restaurants, and reservations. I can't say enough about how positive and welcoming she was making sure things went well.

• Manuela (10/5): Liebevolle Unterkunft mit engagiertem Personal. - Sehr, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Dame an der Rezeption. Sie organisiert Ausflüge und Transfers sehr zuverlässig. Unterkunft ist ruhig, etwas ausserhalb gelegen, braucht ein Taxi für ins Zentrum. Der private Waldtrail ist aussergewöhnlich und gibt einem die Möglichkeit, in das Waldleben von Costa Rica einzutauchen und den Alltag zu vergessen. Beim Frühstück wird ein Aufpreis verlangt, falls man mehr Toast etc. möchte.
• Tobias (6/5): Gute Lage, sauber, sehr Basic und etwas lieblos. - Sehr schöne Lage, mitten im Wald, wenige Minuten bis zum Nationalpark. Helle Zimmer. Sehr freundliche, kooperative Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption. In Monteverde können die Nächte empfindlich kalt sein. Die Zimmer haben keine Heizmöglichkeit und zu wenig Decken. Wir lagen mit Pullover, Jacke, Socken und langer Hose im Bett… Eine DICKE Decke wäre toll gewesen… Das Frühstück ist sehr lieblos, der Kaffe kaum genießbar. Lieber zum Frühstücken in den Coffee Shop an der Straße gehen - nur 5 min Fußweg. Gaaaaanz schlecht ausgeschildert. Wir haben es erst nach längerem Suchen gefunden.

• Marcia (8/5): I have stayed there many times, it’s comfortable, clean and friendly. - The location is close to several excellent places to eat. Elida Trails truly has trails on the property as well as lovely gardens. We saw wildlife like monkeys and agoutis there. The reception service was exceptional. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower was hard to figure out. My brother was able to get hot water but I couldn’t. It seemed that the water heater was turned off in the evening.

• Plowden (10/5): Good location, beautiful setting, friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. - Location was nice. A little outside town but with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Nice walk to Curu nature preserve. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, arranging a tour, a taxi, and accommodating our schedule if coming and going. We did not eat breakfast there so I can not rate that. Room was clean, and shower was hot. Beautiful setting. It was all good.
