- Prajwal (6/5): Needs improvement in quality of service - Good location Not very clean. Have ants and termites in the kitchen closet area. Some of the lights were not functional
- Nikolay (9/5): - Нормальная квартира, расположение кайф много кафе и всего, чуть в глубь от дороги что делает её не такой шумной, но петухи орут )))
- Neville (1/5): Stay at your peril - Hardly anything Room not cleaned during 5 days & night stay. No caretaker. Overflowing dustbins not collected. Soap dispensers empty on arrival, repeated requests fell on deaf ears. Not even provided a small bottle to a weary traveller, had to hunt for a convenience store on arrival. One word PATHETIC
- james Robert. (8/5): - Home from home

- Semen (10/5): - Great owner, smooth check in process, great price, place is quite if compare with other properties in Hanoi. I wish to have more extension options, but I can understand property policy
- Rozario (7/5): - Location: Very good - lot of restaurants and shops near by and Lake within walking distance Balcony: very narrow - hardly ONE FOOT wide and looks onto the bedroom of the opposite building
- 스윗레드팀 (10/5): - 조용한 곳에 위치해 있고, 주변에 상권이 잘 발달해 있습니다 없어요. 하노이 재방문하면 또 여기 예약할 것입니다

- Rozario (7/5): Ha Noi is a very modern and clean city. The weather was excellent. We enjoyed our week long stay.. - Location was good. Very close to the lake and restaurants and department stores. We were alloted Room 302. The balcony was just ONE FOOT (yes, 1ft) wide by 10ft. One person can barely stand on the balcomy.
The apt was not as depicted in the photos

- Demkovych (5/5): The apartment itself could have been nice, but all these issues — the outdated renovation, dirt, ants, and the lack of r - Nice view from the window.
• Overall, the bed was comfortable.
• The apartment had a washing machine and a dryer, which was convenient. The Ant Palace
We stayed here for 10 days.
On the very first day, we wrote to the host that the apartment was quite dirty and lacked basic items such as forks, spoons, and a cup. The host didn’t take any action — the apartment was not cleaned during our entire stay, and there were no cleaning supplies provided (no vacuum cleaner, mop, sponges, or detergents).
Forks, spoons, and a cup were left at our door a week later, by which time we had already bought our own, so they were no longer needed.
But the main issue is that the apartment is infested with ants. They are everywhere — in the bathroom, the kitchen, the bedroom, and even on the bed where you sleep.

- Tim (6/5): Decent value for a shorter stay - Good sized room that looks like the pictures. Bed was reasonably comfortable, although comforter is pretty heavy. Nice to have a sitting area separate from the bedroom. WiFi worked well. Apartment is close to a ton of restaurants and a fairly short grab ride to other activities in Hanoi. On a quieter street away from the busier main road in the neighborhood. Nice having a washing machine in the unit. Tricky to manage the hot or cold water, shower was an adventure most times. Definitely an ant problem, which isn't totally uncommon in SE Asia. Only had 1 key, for a couple we couldn't really leave separately without coordinating how to get back in. Sign in the bathroom says trash will be emptied, but we never saw a soul for 2 weeks. On your own to clean, remove trash and wash towels, etc.
- Mark (10/5): Convenient, quiet, modern. - Nice, modern, clean and well equipped apartment, located right in the middle of Tay Ho quarter, yet hidden in an alley, away from the noise and the chaos typical for Hanoi. Not the cheapest place to crash in town, but worth every Dong. Will book again.
- Michael (10/5): My first stop in Vietnam! - For me personally I loved the facility and the location. I did not use the kitchen but it looked adequately equipped. I did use and appreciated the clothes washer and dryer. The bathroom was equipped with a very deep bathtub (which I don’t prefer) so you need to be extremely careful exiting the tub and stepping onto the smooth slippery tile. Forget using the balcony; very small and not a good view from the lower floors.
The neighborhood was very walkable and had many good restaurants and coffee shops; local and international foods. Everything else I could want was a short scooter ride away. A very nice spa is a 5 minute walk down the alley.
I initially had trouble finding the unit but a quick message to the manager solved that and he was easily reached every time during my two week stay. Deep bath tub & tiny balcony without a view.
- Violetta (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (8/5): Clean and as advertised apartment - It was very clean! A little confusing finding the building
- Marcin (10/5): Cozy place in Hanoi - A comfortable apartment, elevator, washing and drying machine available in place, big comfortable bed, two air conditioners and what is the most important, very nice and helpful owner and perfect contact with him.
- Loo (6/5): Overpriced rate for little services. - The freely access with card. The quiet and peaceful environment. The ease of check-in and check-out. Do not provide an additional blanket as the only blanket is not suitable for a couple. The bed and blanket are not comfortable and seem not to be cleaned. No daily cleaning and upon request the manager informed that only will clean once a week. Drinking water only provided on the check-in date eventhou we stay for 11 nights. Water pressure in the bathroom is not strong. The workers don't communicate besides Vietnamese. The vent fan in the toilet is not in working condition. Upon request to fix, they change a new fan, but the air doesn't flow well. I requested an airport ride for my return flight, and the manager charged me at 400k, which I found much more expensive than Booking.com at the price of 250k. This is a norm price in Hanoi. In general, the services are not my favourite and not so trustable. I wish they would make some improvement .
- Rae (7/5): Reasonably priced decent apartment - Location was great, SO many good restaurants in Tay Ho. Having a washing machine and dryer was fantastic. Reasonably priced. It wasn't super clean, no toilet roll.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Clean and comfy, a good value, and in a great location The communication could have been improved a bit
- Eva (9/5): Superb - Comfy soft bed, nice bed linen. Lovely shower.
- Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beiqi (5/5): Not bad for the price, but could be better! - Host was very helpful and quick to reply One of the cups in the toilet wasnt cleaned properly, there was leftover toothpaste tube inside from the previous occupant. Knew that it was quite cheap, but this was abit much.
- Trần (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and clean place. Reasonable price. Easy to check in.
I will come back in my future trips.
- Kilian (7/5): Good - location, lot of room, comfortable, nice tv, good wifi dirty
- Софья (3/5): Very titred apartment, big disappointment - Overall, for it’s money it’s not that bad There is a lot of minors that wasn’t mentioned. I have no idea how this place got such a high rating because it’s really old, not clean. There are insects and lots of staff is kinda broken or just had a long life. You can’t see this on the pictures provided by the property so you have totally different expectations and it turns out one big disappointment. I had to leave early because it wasn’t enjoyable at all. Also the host was kinda weird, not rude, but weird
- Liane (8/5): Great space for the price, good location, patient staff. Some amenities could use some improvement. - It was very spacious! Tay Ho is generally very quiet and chill. Loved the view from our room (601)
It was important for us to have a big refrigerator, washer, dryer. The bed was large and very comfortable. They had 2 airconditioning in our space (bedroom, living room) and it was cold!!
Manager was very patient with me with all my questions and requests for checking-in/checking-out. Thank you for having us!! Didn’t like the shampoo and soap so I had to buy my own. Only supplied us 2 water bottles for our 6-day stay and didn’t clean the room the whole duration (however, I didn’t bother asking it to be cleaned so maybe I should have done that)
The tub/shower area is not senior-citizen friendly (it was high and didn’t have a rubber mat) and it would constantly leak out into the floor. It smelled like sewage (must be the piping)
Some inside of the cabinets weren’t clean.
Hot water can get REALLY hot.
Towels provided seemed old and smelled after using it. Bathroom also didn’t have a bath mat so I used the towels instead.
I wish the clock had batteries (we booked 4 rooms, all clocks weren’t working — i wonder if it’s a decoration)
- Edward (8/5): Great place. Nice layout. Excellent value for money - There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom. It seemed to be the water itself. It smelled a little like sewage. I could not get rid of itp
- Aleksandra (9/5): Superb - The internet connection was good, so we could work smoothly every day. Very comfortable bed ;) One thing: ants. But I think this is a problem everywhere.
- Réka (5/5): Passable - The location is good, if you're tired from the old quarter. The apartment was specious and well equipped. The apartment is quite run down but the main problem was that it was really dirty and smelled bad in the whole time of our stay.
- Aigul (10/5): I’d recommend to stay in this place. - Location is comfortable, everything is close, quiet area. Clean and cozy apartments. Low quality of shampoo and shower gel.
- My (7/5): Good - Dining table, sofa and bedroom look nice and comfortable. The facility is quite old, especially inconvenient in bathroom without standing shower (only bathtub with no curtain). There’s no room/apartment cleaning service during staying period. Checkin procedure was a bit confusing as well.
- I_olga (10/5): Exceptional - I recommend this apartment.
+Quiet place, which is rare for Hanoi/Vietnam (no street noise from traffic, air conditioners work quietly)
+The apartment is divided into 2 zones, each zone has an air conditioner
+Spacious apartment, large area
+Large refrigerator, lots of dishes
+There is a washing machine and dryer
+Good internet, suitable for remote work
+Comfortable bed
+Responsive and pleasant host
Also nearby there is an excellent Spa Omamori (blind massage therapists work here), and several good grocery stores (Housing Food Shop, Cửa Hàng Mini Food, Winmart, Circle K).
- Diana (10/5): Highly recommend - The apartment is just great from various aspects. I ended up staying over 2 weeks here. The location - on the main street with cafes and convenience stores, but in an alley so inside it feels much more calm. Someone in reviews brought up roosters but I barely heard them sometimes in the far background. Apartment itself is cozy, has a home feeling, which is especially nice for longer stays. And it has absolutely everything you need (even washing machine and dryer). Has some nice view. Cleaning lady comes on request. Communication with owners is very easy. Highly recommend!
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (7/5): Nice apartment with no service from cleaners or property manager. - Was a quite place for the busy area it was in.
Was like living in an apartment in Han oi but at a higher rate. No English from property manager (used translation app on phone).
Payment was cash to property manager. I asked for a receipt which he said he would send which he never did.
There appeared to be cleaners but never saw them for our entire 3 week stay.
- Yanet (8/5): Very good -
- Janin (9/5): Superb -
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Suzie (7/5): Nice apartment but service could be better - Nice and spacious apartment, nice to have washing machine and dryer.
They let us store luggage for a few days after our stay which was much appreciated.
The neighbourhood is nice, good coffee shops and banh mi close by. The apartment had an ant problem and they did not provide any cleaning products inside the apartment so we couldn’t properly clean up after ourselves when we ate inside.
We stayed 6 nights and we had to ask for the room to be serviced after a few days , when they came to service they didn’t change the sheets or towels so had to ask them to come back to change the bed as that also had ants in it.
They came knocking on the door after 8pm and wouldn’t stop knocking, they stayed for around 5 minutes.. we were already in bed as we work early. It turns out they just came to give us toilet paper so it was totally unnecessary to knock that much.
- Manoshika (9/5): It was a perfect stay and we had a comfortable and quiet night's -
- Neville (7/5): Enjoyed apartment clean quiet all you is there for short stay. - Actually finding the property.nnice w
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (10/5): Great sized apartment in good location - Great location, good size Bathroom needs updating, plug in bath didn’t hold water.
No view
- Shannen (8/5): Great location in Tay Ho, would recommend! - Perfect location for those that want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter. The place is very liveable for longer stays. I really liked the big TV, washer and dryer was super handy, also super easy check-in and very clean when I arrived. Stunning view of lake! Essentials for cooking and washing would have been beneficial, especially as the apartment wasn't serviced during they stay. Host comms was a bit strange but not particularly rude. Would have liked to have a cover for the bed that wasn't just a thin sheet, I would say more of an airbnb type of accomodation than serviced apartment.
- Hương (10/5): Your home has all the necessary furnishings for an apartment, it's clean, safe, and has a beautiful view. - The decorate is amazing and so clean Nothing!
- Deo (10/5): Was amazing!! Will book again - Everything is there! Complete, Comfortable and Clean Nothing
- Luc (10/5): Exceptional - Location is good. Staff was very helpful and forthcoming. Would highly recommend!
- Nickursu (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment with a nice view in the day
- Dknz (9/5): A good place tp stay - It was a lovely place to stay. Relatively quiet - except for that one rooster crowing every 30 minutes all day and night long, lol. It's Vietnam, so work with it. The place is down a couple of small alleyways, but the owner sends clear instructions. It's a bit narrow for most vehicles to want to go down, so be mindful. It's just a minute or two walk up to the main road, a pretty easy walk.
The apartment itself is clean and modern. The bathroom is a tad dated, but you don't spend much time there. Everything worked well, including aircon, very strong and stable internet, and washing with a dryer as well which is a nice conevnience.
There's no security guard, but the place is secure with a passcode gate to enter the building and key card access to the room.
The owner is very reaponsive and helpful. The only complaint is occassionally odours from outside come in. People smoking on their balcony comes into the bedroom. There's a sh*t smell that comes into the bathroom at times, assuming from the drain pipes when someone upstairs or downstairs takes a massive one. I think it is a bit common for these older buildings.
- Lirene (10/5): Great apartment! - It's an apartment so it's nice and spacious. Everything was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The apartment is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer so it was really really convenient to stay here!
- Kris (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, good location in Tay Ho, easy to access. Suited us well for a short stay, washer and dryer were a big bonus. Kitchen was a bit basic if you wanted to use that, but fine for very simple use.
- De (5/5): Nice few days but left because of the balcony and lak of privacy - Clean nice spacious cozy apartment Bath took a while before its excually filled up..had to wait for the tank to heat up again and put a lot of warm kethels in between. The balcony wasnt really a balcony were i can excually sit on and view was blocked by another building. Not private
- Sam (8/5): Very good - Really nice place. We extended our stay an extra week. It's good and quiet to get work done.
The area is really far from everything, but has a lot of great international food around. We first got an apartment that smelled like smoke, but thankfully the host moved us to one exactly the same upstairs
- Liene (7/5): Not great, not bad - Located on a little side street so barely can hear any traffic. Neighbourhood is cute with many cafes within walking distance. Has an elevator, WiFi was good and kitchen is equipped with basics.
Apartment itself is spacious.
Amazing SPA on the same street. When walking through the door a stuffy smell hits you, a bit mold like. After looking closer the whole window rim has mold spots on it as well as the whole calking in the bathroom which could be fixed easily.
Wouldn’t say it was dirty but not very clean either, especially the kitchen area and all the dishes.
Price could be a bit lower but overall it is not a bad apartment.
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Celine (9/5): It was a good stay if you’re planning to work and visit the town. - The neighborhood is great! The place has everything you need. I’ll just improve the kitchen equipment a little bit There were some furniture that were not in great condition.
- Ngo (6/5): Nice room & location, but not very clean - Great location, safe, quiet and beautiful area but still close to nice restaurant & cafe. The room looks like photos, washing machine & dryer is a really nice bonus. Some people complain about the rooster crowing at night, but I think it's the beauty of living in a village-like place in a middle of big city :-) Dirty & a bit messy in hidden places. The bathroom & kitchen are far from being clean, you can still see used marks on cutleries and tableware in the cupboard. There are a bunch of random used plastic bags in most cabinets. There's only 1 toilet roll for 3 nights. When I asked for more, the host said I can pick it up from the ground floor - where it of course cannot be found. It seems to me that the host did their very minimum effort to make the stay comfortable.
- Galina (10/5): The stuff is really nice and helpful. The place is close to the lake - Nice view
- Mahmood (9/5): Perfect apartment in a beautiful lakeside neighbourhood - Nice clean apartment with a nice view of the nearby mini lake. Clean spacious and has everything you need. Staff a great and supportive. Neighbourhood is beautiful. If you are not a morning person, roosters all over the area will wake you up and disturb your sleep.
- Priscillia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hieu (10/5): Great communication and the owner was very accommodating! The room was new, clean, modern, and had everything I needed, -
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheyanne (7/5): Good - Great location, comfy bed. The TV didn’t work, there was not enough toilet paper, it was wildly unclean. (The glass doors, hairs in the bathroom shower, bathroom sink head and nozzle were still water stained).
- Ted (8/5): Convenient - It’s at a nice quiet location, quite spacious. Not sure why the place doesn’t accept credit cards but rather require cash only. If I didn’t go and obtain enough cash before going, I would have been turned away.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): A well appointed, located apartment that is remarkably quiet. - La Passion was well situated in the Tay Ho district on the banks of West Lake in Hanoi. It is very easy to get to, about 8 minutes walk from the bus stop for the 86 bus that goes to or from the airport or from numerous other buses that go to and from the train station or the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
In the apartment there is a good shower and bath, 2 air conditioners, a fridge, stove top, washing machine, tumble dryer, television with Netflix, numerous sockets and very good storage facilities.
We liked the apartment so much that we stayed twice. Hanoi and Tay Ho are a maze of streets and some might find the apartment a little difficult to find. However, the apartment manager gives excellent and detailed instructions on how to find the place and as long as you follow the instructions there should be no problem.
- Sowrabh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vallari (7/5): Good - The place was beautiful from inside and had a heater and basic kitchenette and was clean and spacious. The host was available on chat, and did visit us for the payment and allowed us to extend for 1 our as late check out as we had our flight to catch It was super far from the old quarters and quite inside from the main road (5 mins walk)
The building doesn't have a manager available at onsite, as it was one apartment per floor kind of felt spooky at night, they could maintain the entrance and fix the light on the floor so it makes fit a bit less spooky but apart from this the apartment was very comfortable and loveable
- Phuc (9/5): Love it! - The location is great - nested in one of the busiest streets in Tay Ho. I also love the bed here because they didn't use those white bed sheets that make the whole place feel cold and alienated.
- Saskia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashlyn (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Hanoi! - The room was very clean, comfortable, cute, and spacious! Beautiful view from the window! The check in process was simple and the hosts were kind.
- Yuanitha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hoàng (10/5): Amazing stay - It is amazing stay. They take care the property so well, keep it clean and tidy. Best service ever. The host is so friendly and kind. He helped us in everything we need, tk make sure we have a smooth trip in Hanoi. Highly recommend this apartment. Nothing
- Phan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hins (8/5): Very good -
- Javier (10/5): be at home - The host is simply amazing... he helped me in everything.,, also with a personal issue i had
amazing experience
- David (10/5): Great - Very comfortable and good value in the expat part of town. I enjoyed staying here so much I extended my stay twice. Would be happy to return!
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious well kept apartment. Nothing
- Linh (10/5): Thank you so much! - The cleanliness of this apartment was impressive. It was spotless and well-maintained, making us feel instantly comfortable.
