Guest Reviews
- Kelman (1/5): No stay was possible. Dreadful - This property was on long term let to another tenant and our booking had not been cancelled. We had to find alternative accommodation at zero notice Not being able to access the flat, despite full charge being made. Owner was difficult to contact, and we eventually had to ask the present tenant to contact his landlord
- Marguerite (7/5): Fortunately only two nights so was adequate. - Self catering. Bus stops nearby. Very basic utensils and china provided.
No instructions on how to access usual TV channels, only foreign ones. Such as BBC channels, ITV channels etc.
Only two parking spaces at property so was lucky to get one of them especially unloading wheelchair
- Kaitlin (1/5): Risky - We booked one night here more than 4 months in advance, and the owner said they would send us the PIN to unlock the door 24hr prior to check-in. Despite repeated messages asking for the PIN the day of our stay, it was not sent until an hour and a half after the advertised check-in time. We had an early flight the next morning, so when we still hadn't heard from the owners after the check-in time had psssed, we wound up having to book hotel rooms last minute because we didn't know if the owners were ever going to respond or not. When they finally did, it was an insulting message telling me that they didn't have to refund my payment and that I needed to "inform myself." The only positive was that they did eventually return the money, but I'm not putting that under the "What I Liked" category because you don't get bonus points for not stealing from people. We were vacationing from outside the country, and trying to scramble to find a backup plan in an unfamiliar country was a stressful and scary experience. The pictures look nice, and if you know the area and don't need the place to be available when they say it will, it might be alright. If you're traveling from outside of the country and need something reliable, though, stay somewhere else.
- Peter (7/5): Mixed review.. - Liked the quiet location.
Clean and comfortable. Sadly the fridge freezer was very noisy and after chatting to the host was told to turn it off.
However this was not possible at all times as we were worried about the food in the freezer.
We were out most of the days so we left it on then.
When returning back late afternoon and evening we wanted to catch up on the news and watch a little telly which was impossible as we could not get any programs and if we did it constantly buffered and then nothing !
We were told that you had to choose your programme within 5 seconds but even then it didn't work.
The last night we saw a little but I think it was because after telling the host he probably came to fix it while we were out but he didn't say this so its just a quess!
One final point my wife refused to sit outside as it was such a mess.
Otherwise it was OK.
- Lindsey (3/5): Very disappointed - The bed was extremely comfortable but pillows were dreadful and duvet wasn’t big enough for the bed. I’m absolutely shocked at how this place has the reviews it does! Let me tell you the photos uploaded DO NOT reflect the place once you see it in real time. The entire place is filthy, the shower very oddly has a note asking you not to get the door wet as it isn’t water tight, that is displayed on the INSIDE OF A SHOWER despite our best efforts to keep the water away from the door it still leaks all across the tiled floor causing a very dangerous slippery area. The WiFi is absolutely shocking and you can’t even receive a WhatsApp message. The bed is actually very comfortable however the pillows are dreadful. Whilst this isn’t the worst place, it falls way way below how it’s rated and doesn’t meet my standards and certainly not that of accommodations offered by booking.com. I particularly booked an apartment rather than a hotel room as we wanted space to relax and unwind before we travelled, what a mistake. The flat itself is decent but just need a damn good deep clean, better WiFi and some decent pillows. Even the outdoor area is rotten! A swing chair that must’ve been there rotting away for years, such a shame as this place has potential to be a decent property.
- Ruth (7/5): Good -
- Antony (10/5): I would recommend and stay here again - Property was well located for our trip as it was an easy bus ride to Wimbledon
Very clean and nice quiet little area Everything was fine
- Pamela (9/5): Superb - Lovely leafy area. Clean contemporary flat with outside space to enjoy sunny weather. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for Roehampton University, where we were visiting in the evening. Needed bedding for a third person but luckily found a quilt to use.
- Philip (9/5): Nice clean flat in a quiet area of Putney. - The location was good. I arrived at 11pm and the area was very quiet and I felt safe. The flat is exactly as described and was easy to find. There was a spare bed already made up as requested and the flat was clean. There is a roof light in the living room which means anyone sleeping there gets woken up at 5am in the summer. It won't be a problem in the winter.
- Alexa (9/5): Superb - Lovely flat. Clean and well equipped. Worked well for us and our trip to Wimbledon - only 10 mins in a taxi. We would stay again Could have done with an iron. We were lucky and got a space on the drive. There is on street parking, but not outside the flat - I think we would have ended up parking on a different road
- Lynn (10/5): Quiet and clean - Nice clean quiet apartment I wouldn't have wanted to use the outside space. Needs sprucing up
- Claire (8/5): Lovely stay in a pleasant apartment which was quiet, convenient and with all the facilities we needed. - Cleanliness, good location and value for money. Helpful messages from owner. The beds in living room were a little soft and there were no off road parking spaces available so we had to park on the street (although to be fair we were advised that parking was on a first come first serve basis).
- Kim (8/5): Definitely recommend - Lovely apartment exactly described and as in photos. Spacious and clean.
I stupidly didn’t check booking.com for email updates which include PIN number for access to flat. I couldn’t get in, and the team were so quick, friendly and helpful to sort out my confusion. Thank you.
I would definitely recommend and stay here again. No issues
- Arlind (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ali (9/5): Superb -
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (10/5): Excellent - Very comfy beds
Very clean
Had all the facilities in the kitchen, including basic cooking items Needs a tea towel
- Bridget (7/5): OK for a 2 night stay but because of the hob and noisy fridge/freezer I would not book for longer. - It was important for us to be in the right location with parking and facilities to self cater. We were attending a family funeral in Putney and wanted to be near family and have the facilities to cook for the two nights we stayed.
Note for anyone looking at the website: Feedback from previous guests rated off street parking but the website contained a photo of on street parking on a quiet street. This caused confusion and the only way to get clarification was to confirm the online booking and wait to see what came back on that question. As it turned out it was off street parking for our visit which was preferable to us for loading/unloading at the property. Hob: only one ring on the hob worked. The other 3 were not working which restricted us somewhat. When we contacted the host, he said he was aware that one of the rings was not working !! We showed him via live video that three of the rings were not working and so I do hope that the Hob gets fixed before further guests book the apartment.
Fridge/Freezer: Made loud noise during the night, no idea why, so had to switch it off and turn back on again in the morning.
Shower Cubicle: Dirty compared to the rest of the apartment.
- Morag (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment with plenty of room. Secure parking which was a big plus. Just could not work the television at all. At the very least I expected to get free view easily.
- Danilo (10/5): Quiet, comfortable, extremely pleasant stay! - Excellent apartment, nice host, perfect position, quiet and comfortable
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property thank you! Clean and tidy place nicely decorated. free parking always a plus :)
- Beverley (10/5): Super stay and I would have no hesitation in booking again - spacious, quiet, comfy bed, unexpected extras eg teabags and toothpaste most welcome! the hosts were very responsive to my questions about buses and finding my way around. The information pack was super-helpful too It would be useful to have a mirror within reaching distance of a plug socket for drying and styling hair - a tiny thing!
- Lesley (9/5): Quiet, clean and comfortable - Very clean and nice furniture, comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and modern appliances.
Safe off street parking. The garden area needs a good clean up and it would be a nice place to sit in when the weather improves.
- James (10/5): Spacious and great location! - Close to transport links and spacious
- Mcordobita (10/5): Exceptional - All the flat is amazing, very good situation, cleaned, with a lot of extras like food, ande the court. Fridge very noisy. Toilet tank wasn't working properly and some water over the table under skilighter.
- Anonymous (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Clean and spacious with good amenities Quite far from the station
- Domthatsall (10/5): Exceptional - Nice space. Great for us as we visited friends in Putney.
- David (10/5): Spot on. - Easy to book, access and leave. Clean, good layout and comfortable. Nothing comes to mind
- Cj (10/5): Good location - easy access to Central London -
- Anonymous (8/5): Nice, clean, large 1 bed, good value for money, convenient and quiet location - - Large property
- good furniture,
- comfy bed,
- clean,
- nice and warm,
- great patio doors and access to a garden
- good convenient location and quiet.
- easy to access. - Small residual smell of stale smoke from previous guests when you enter the apartment
- shower cabinet leaked
- toilet push button stuck in on position
- TV in main room was not linked to a source so could not be used
- fridge freezer was very loud at night (May need maintained)
- Michael (7/5): Nice place. Most of my critique is easy to fix to make this a more memorable experience. - Nice house! Liked the space, well equipped, generally quiet. Shops close by. I met one of the landlords who was cleaning a room upstairs after someone checked out. Nice guy! Great off street parking. This is constructive rather than being picky!!
One chance to make first impression. My first impression was a line of empty wine and spirit bottles lined up against the front wall of the house!!
I was there for a week and these were still there when I left, so not a recycling line!
4pm check-in is a pain. I’d arrived at 3pm, desperate for the toilet but could not get in as the door code appears to be on a timer. If checkout time is 11am, not sure why they need 5 hours to turn the room over!
Landlords are not so responsive despite a couple of messages.
Back garden was really a mess. There was some good weather and it would have been nice to use it. Fridge made a terrible noise when motor kicked in. Internet speed was variable.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Fab comfy clean spacious place to stay - Bright, airy , clean and comfortable , well appointed , great location Needed more towels but I'm sure if we had phoned we would of got them
- Tashaan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sally (10/5): A great property - Really clean, easily accessible and great secure parking Nothing
- Graham (9/5): Superb - Clean tidy and comfortable
- David (7/5): Ok to good - New Location and not finish lots of teething troubles, concrete back garden would be nice with a bit of Astroturf on
- Anonymous (9/5): it’s a nice place which is very clean and quite, close to bus stop. - very clean. none
- Anonymous (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very cozy. When we ran into troubles with Internet they made sure to fix it, and - The location is great, super close to multiple bus stops. The apartment itself is cute, cozy and functional.
- Graziana (10/5): Lovely - it was clean and cute
- Maggie (9/5): would stay there again. - Off road parking; spacious; well equipped; outdoor area.
- Kayleigh (9/5): Superb -
- Graeme (10/5): I did not meet the host but the online interaction was very good - The location was fantastic, the free safe parking was brilliant and the flat was ver comfortable. The lock box was sticky and it was quite difficult to get access to the keys
No milk or coffee in the flat. Not excepting a fully stocked kitchen but coffee would be nice to have before going out to shop
- Nikkita (8/5): Pleasant - Everything was nice the recliner chair, decor, shower, bed, seating, the cultery etc. Fridge/freezer was loud from time to time and it wasn't throughly clean. The cameras wasn't mentioned there were two on inside along hallway, 2 cameras in the garden and cameras outside. The parking to enter the property is awkward to get up and it isn't on a drop down curve, hard to enter property parking. No hoover nor broom provided. There was no signal at all on me nor my friend's mobile provider (giffgaff and three) nor in the garden. I had to step out the property passed the gates to get signal. There was nowhere to hang jackets up in the lounge.
- Ben (8/5): Very good - Very clean and tidy.
Would definitely recommend staying there.
Room for improvement, provide more condiments so people who are only staying for a short time don't have to spend a lot of money on the basics. Not enough towels. No shower or shampoo
- Sacha (8/5): Place had all new appliances, clean and tidy. - Newly renovated, clean. No iron or ironing board.
Neighbours upstairs could hear them walking around which was quite noisy on the floor boards.
Glad we had a car to drive to tube as would have felt vulnerable walking home through the estate at night.
