Guest Reviews
- Paul (5/5): - Good Location close to shops pubs, tube and plenty of room.Comfy beds.Number keypad locks meant no keys to carry. No comp shower gel or hand soap. The room with the skylight had no blind and so the sunlight came in at 06:30..The sink had no drainer , tea towels or egg cups. The standard of decorating was just a bit messy. More importantly no slip mat in the bath. Bedside lamps would have been nice as would a grater.
- Nathan (8/5): - Location was great, on the Piccadilly line. Right next to arsenal stadium and although we didn't take in a game it was interesting to see the crowds. Close to some great grocery stores and good shopping. Check in was very easy. The front porch and entry was very dirty. No drying rack for laundry, however the kitchen table can be used to dry laundry.
- Carol (7/5): Enjoyable experience and would stay again if we needed to be in that area of London - Great place to stay for a short visit and local shops and transport links good. Great little flat that allowed the family to be together during our stay in London. Host communicated quickly and responded to any queries raised. Bedding for the sofa bed missing, front of property/entranceway a mess and unwelcoming, no air conditioning and we stayed during an official “heatwave” which made the bedrooms unbearable at night and no fans provided despite requesting some.

- Anne (6/5): Great location but disappointing property overall. - Great location, very close to Emirates Stadium and Holloway Road Underground. Convenient location for Bus to Kings Cross Station .
Property it’s self was spacious. Shared access to property. Many flights of narrow stairs to property.
Sub standard of cleanliness.
Lack of window dressing on skylight window. No dish towel present.
- Dave (5/5): Adequate, but you get what you pay for - Close to transportation, rooms were fairly large. Beds were comfortable, and linens were clean and soft. Good water pressure, and a washing machine in the unit. The outside appearance will make you rethink your life choices.
There is a narrow staircase you will need to climb to get to the room, then two more in the room itself -- good luck if you have heavy luggage, or a stroller.
However, if I were to describe it in one word: DIRTY. There was blood on the wall of the bathroom, grease drips on the wall in the kitchen, and a strange orange frost covering the freezer (which seriously needs to be replaced). Crisp crumbs on the couch cover, and hair pretty much everywhere -- bathtub, toilet, floors. The floating floor redefines "floating", as it does not contact the underlay in some places.
The smoke/CO2 detector was blaring when we arrived, and we could not get it to stop, so we had to take the batteries out -- it may have been due to the extreme heat. The rooms were 34C when we arrived -- to be fair, it was the hottest day of the month, but ventilation is lacking, and some fans would have been nice.
- Juri (8/5): Very good -
- Bigcraiglol (6/5): Spacious apartment in a great London location, just needs some TLC - Communication for access and the details of the stay were clear and useful from the host who was lovely and good with communication. The location in relation to London centre, commuter access and attractions was great. A lot of places to eat and drink nearby. Shower water pressure and temperature was very good. Very spacious apartment and the bedrooms were big, big beds and clean sheets and towels. Kitchen fixtures and features were good too. Stone throw away from the Arsenal Emirates Stadium and in a bustling lively neighborhood. The cleanliness of the flat and the building was poor. There was bathroom mould on the shower fixture and dirt around the radiators in the bathroom too. The floor needs a mop as there was so much dirt on our feet and socks just walking around. The shower head was very low so I had to shower on my knees and I'm only 6'2". There wasn't a tea towel I could find, nor any spare toilet roll which we ran out of.
- Elaine (7/5): Good -
- Kathaleeya (8/5): Very good -
- Iris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asa (8/5): Very good - Perfect location for us visiting our daughter
- Lauren (5/5): Passable - The location was good for an Arsenal Match other than that was a bit far out It wasn't very clean. Looked quite rough from the outside and the entrance wasn't great.
The bedroom upstairs also had no blind or cover so once the sun was up you were up
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (10/5): Area perfect, apartment as shown in pictures. - Property is exactly like the pictures. Area is perfect. Beds comfy and sofa couch is large. Kitchen well equipped. Shower lovely and powerful and there was always hot water. Area is nice and across from shop, chemist and Dominos, 5 minute walk from emirates stadium and bus/tub stops. Could have done with a hover, looked like sweeping brush was quickly used and it was definitely mopped, but really needed that extra touch to get rid of bits the brush missed, which I found very irritating as I have spotless floors at home (Everything else was very clean)
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elisabeth (7/5): Good for a short stay - Flat itself well furnished and comfortable.
Nice kitchen and lounge area Location not quite what we thought. Shared entrance not exactly welcoming. For eg couldn't get door open and lots of rubbish outside.
Mix up with cot and no high chair etc
No velux blind in main bedroom so woke when sun rose...not great for children.
- Erwin (7/5): Good place to stay for a few days but some issues. - Fairly close to the underground, supermarket. Nice coffee place right next door. Arsenal Stadium 200 yards down the road. It had everything we needed in terms of amenities. When you get to the property it's immediately clear why there are no pictures of the exterior in the property's Booking profile. It all looks a tad unkept, rubbish in the front 'patio', views of a high-rise estate. The front door doesn't open very wide because it gets jammed against the warped floor boards, so it's a bit of a squeeze to get in, especially with luggage.
Some of the bedding had what looked like blood stains and hairs on it. We messaged the host about it and she said she'd let the cleaners know so that it wouldn't happen again. Didn't do us much good though. We didn't use the stained duvet, but luckily it was warm, so we didn't need to. The fitted sheet for the sofa bed didn't fit. Again, the host did not offer to replace it. We had to improvise.
- Kyra (5/5): Overall was ok for the two nights wouldn’t come back again, due to hygiene standards. - Location was great as we were staying for wireless, 15minutes walk to Finsbury Park. 5minute walk from the Arsenal football ground which was a positive. Property is a very good size, a lot of space. Good size bedrooms. Property was dust ridden, clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly prior to arrival. Fridge and bathroom were filthy.
- Zsolt (9/5): Superb - the location was ideal for our trip because it is only few steps from the Arsenal stadium. The apartment is also very close to the subway stations. Many bars and restaurants are in walking dsitance.
The apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. The apartment si not the newest one but everything worked.
- Duncan (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and local for what we needed. Very easy to get in and good communication.
Thank you
- Lydia (8/5): Great location for a weekend break - Great location and excellent communication from host.
- Milan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (6/5): Adequate for the money. - It was clean and handy location. Heating and hot water worked well. Kitchen equipped with basic crockery etc The outside and entrance are very scruffy and off-putting. There is nothing lighting in the hallway and up the stairs and front door gets stuck making it difficult to get luggage in.
Lacked basic touches such as bedside lamps and velux blind missing. No tea towel or toilet paper.
- Simon (10/5): Great place to stay -
- Lipalesa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vijulin (10/5): Value for Money - Easily accessible from Holloway road tube station. The rooms were clean and the beds were good. Very spacious with basic amenities available for use.
- Fergus (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional will definitely stay again - It was so new and clean and the location was amazing we went to see a match at the emirates stadium it was the best location ever. The host was so accomodating and helpful too..
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and polite neighbours I would consider other people to stay
- Petros (7/5): Good - The flat was spotless clean, proper clean, and fresh. The bathroom was small but nice. It felt like being in a hotel. The flat interiors seemed new; newly painted walls, new carpet, and good state of furniture. The beds were comfy and big. Stayed over a Saturday night, and the area was quiet. There were external works done at the property (not in the flat), and the front yard was inhospitable. Was a bit of a shock to see building material as soon as we arrived. We stepped in the hallway from the front door, and there was a strong smell of curry. There was no smell in the flat, though.
