• Edwin (10/5): Good value, would stay again - Good location. Well set up and convenient. Comfortable and private for a group of 4 adults, with two bedrooms and 1 bath shared between, with a locking door at the bottom of the stairs. Sufficient amenities. Nice view at night over the city. There are multiple rooms in this place, each with their own locks, and I have no information on the other rooms, but I would expect they are all as described. I'm supposed to say what I didn't like here, but I really don't have anything major. Our room had only one light, which was bright enough, but a lamp might have been nice for ambiance before bed. The small space heater worked fine, but didn't have a thermostat, so maybe that could be improved. We didn't use the shared central area/kitchen, but it looked like it would be fine if we needed to. This is not some high-end bougie place, but it was what I was looking for. I'm rating it a 10 based on meeting my expectations based on the price.

• Wally (7/5): When I first arrived at this property, I questioned whether I had made a poor choice, but after settling in, I came to r - Nothing at all fancy, but very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Located in an old, seemingly rundown part of town. The steps (to get to our rooms) are VERY steep—not at all handicapped accessible.

Die Küche teilt man sich mit den anderen Mietern und da die Wände recht dünn sind hat man leicht das Gefühl, die anderen Mieter zu stören. Auch die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr basic, wir haben daher viel auswärts gegessen.

• Aurore (1/5): Ne venez jamais. - Le prix est très cher, et c’est un appartement partagé !! Le propriétaire nous a dit qu’il faisait payer 500CAD pour toute l’unité PAR NUIT !!!! Les escaliers sont ultras dangereux, ma grand-mère est tombée du deuxieme étage en glissant dedans. L’appartement était sale malgré la facture de 50CAD de nettoyage facturé par chambre. Rien n’était accommodant, nous sommes allées à la CNE nous étions à plus de 45min de marche du centre ville. Quand je me suis plainte au propriétaire il a culpabilisé le gouvernement pour les taxes imposées… quelle honte

• bruno (2/5): A fuir : très sale, pas entretenue, des rats et quartier pas safe - Rien Situé dans un quartier peu safe (des locaux nous ont dit de faire très attention et de ne surtout rien laissé dans la voiture) dans une maison pas entretenue du tout, avec des rats qui nous sont passés à chaque fois entre les pieds à notre arrivée dans la maison en soirée, l’intérieur n’est pas mieux : c est sale (photos à l’appui) pas entretenu avec plein de poussière en bas de tous les murs et des sanitaires très sales. De plus l accès par l escalier étroit et très raide est dangereux et difficile à monter avec une valise. Et ne parlons pas du propriétaire qui ne répond plus une fois la réservation faite et encaissée à nos questions. La rapport qualité prix est très mauvais C’est notre pire expérience en 3 semaines au Canada

• Tanya (10/5): Great place to stay - It was very roomy. Having 2 beds in the unit helped so my cousin and I could stretch out better. It was clean and comfortable. Directions to enter the unit were very clear and all toiletries were supplied. It was very quiet too.
• Alison (9/5): a cozy stay in an old neighbourhood in the heart of Toronto - I enjoyed staying in this Quad room with my family. There was a fair common area (kitchen, etc.) that we didn't end up using, and we had the attic all to ourselves. There were good writing desks, a nice sofa, and essentials such as a hair dryer, body wash, and a lot of bathroom tissue lying around. The shower was really clean and nice, too; it seemed to have been recently renovated. There was this very sloped stair that we had to use to access the rooms. It led up to a short and shallow hallway. We were a little bit worried that we might fall off when we had to use the hallway during the night. The rooms were also not at all soundproof, so the two rooms could hear each other well, even if it was just normal volume conversation.

• Jonguk (8/5): Good location, convenient parking, great value for two rooms + private bathroom. Not super clean. - I chose this listing mainly for two reasons: free parking and the location (walking distances to tons of restaurants at Bloor st, Spadina st and Kensington market). The parking was completely hassle free (the property managers give you straightforward directions when you book). Also the listing comes with two rooms! It is the entire upper floor which has a private bathroom. If you want to book two separate rooms for two or more people, I don't think you can beat this price. There is also a shared kitchen on the middle floor. The cleanliness was subpar. The fridge in the shared kitchen obvious wasn't attended to in a while, because there was some takeaway that was rotting inside. Also, the walls of the private bathroom was covered with hair for some reason. The rest of the place was decently cleaned though.
