• Kalfayan (9/5): It was great! - The location is fantastic. While it's true that it's a bit small for three people (the host had warned us about this beforehand), our stay was comfortable. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. I wouldn't stay there with children. Besides the fact that the place isn't very big, the location isn't suitable for families with children.

• Leyla (7/5): Basic, good location, good for sleep - location was good, city centre, it had room for our suitcases and ski bag to fit in the room, we were only there to sleep so it did the job, if we needed to stay in the room for anything more than sleep it would have been too small and uncomfortable the way the bed is placed is someone needs to climb and crawl over the next person to get out, also the bathroom doesnt have a toto toilet which was strange considering all public toilets and even the ANA Airplane toilets had the bidet,
• Bethany (5/5): Cockroaches and other people's hair (don't trust the + reviews) - The owner was very helpful and let us leave our bags in before check in, also the location is great It was dirty, we kept finding hairs everywhere that were not ours, there was dirt when we turned the shower on, the shower did not really work it kept going hot/ cold/ hot / cold and we found a cockroach - we were disappointed because of all the good reviews we read, then found a sign saying that you get a 10% refund for a good review.

• Kazue (8/5): 駅近、コンビニ近い - 駅近で、コンビニや飲食店が近く良かった。 歯磨き粉が何度か使われている物が置いてあった。壁が薄いので隣の人の生活音がリアルに聞こえた。 ソファーベットがコイルがダメになっているのか、痛かった。

• Roxana (10/5): Estoy muy conforme con mi estadía, especialmente con el trato de Kiki, quien fue muy amable en todo momento y pudo conte - La locación de la propiedad es excelente, especialmente para quienes viajan a Tokio por primera vez. Aunque se encuentre en Shinjuku al departamento no llegan los ruidos de afuera. El acceso a las líneas de metro es fantástico. El check-in y el check-out fueron súper fáciles. Algo para tener en cuenta también es el acceso al lavadero, fácil y accesible. -

• Waisy (8/5): Small cosy apartment - The apartment is small but clean and has facilities like fridge, microwave oven, a kettle.and free wifi. The location is within walking distance to Shinjuku Station. There is a lift to the apartment which is good. There isn't a lot of space for large luggage bags.

• Wesley (9/5): Solid value choice for 1-2 travelers - The price was the leading benefit for the property. To stay in the heart of Shinjuku for what I paid was a solid deal. My entire 3 night stay was less than 1 night at some other places. For just one person, there was enough space, could have accommodated two decently well I think. The bed was also more comfortable than I was expecting. It's just one piece, but its a fully memory foam mattress which was quite supportive yet soft. I was expecting a hard brick of a mattress so it was a welcomed relief. Pillows were a little flat, I had to stack some of my stuff under them and it was fine. A/C works great. Hot and cold water work great. Unit showed some small signs of wear but was clean enough to not be concerning. No insects or pests seen at any time. Signs in the room ask you to remove your shoes, they provide slippers, I just hope the slippers were cleaned... couldn't tell. Also nice there was a little balcony so you can see what the weather is like before going outside. Also soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided which was appreciated. They even had free individually wrapped toothbrushes and toothpaste if you needed it. Staying in the heart of Shinjuku means when you come home at night, you'll be walking past all the scammers, recruiters, and madams who are trying to get you aside to take advantage of a 'massage'. I had a guy try to get my attention and walk next to me for an extended period, not giving up trying to get me to stop and talk to him which was annoying. As a white male solo traveler I am probably a prime target so this may not happen to everyone. That doesn't have anything to do with the property itself, but just a side effect I guess. Also, my expectations were appropriate going in so I wasn't surprised, but the bathroom is very small. I am tall (6'4") and I couldn't stand up all the way in the toilet/sink area. The shower has a bit more headroom so I could essentially stand all the way, but still very crampt. Shower curtain is there, but only barely reaches either end of the shower, so you have to be careful. But didn't hinder my experience. You just use it and deal with it and realize if you want a big luxurious shower, you should stay somewhere else and pony up for it. Property/entrance was a little challenging to find, the host provided bare bones instructions, but ultimately we got there.

• Nathan (5/5): Disappointing room size, not fit for 3 people. - Elevator to the room, fantastic central location. The room was advertised as for three people; two in the double bed, one on the futon. However there was just no room whatsoever. You can barely open 1 suitcase on the floor, the rest on the bed. Just made getting ready a nightmare. Didn't actually spend any time here, as we are 3 quite large guys and there was no way we were gonna be comfortable. Took the cost on the chin and booked somewhere else with more room. Could maybe do a night or two here at most, and it'd be okay if you were just a couple staying here, but we had booked for 5 nights which wasn't gonna happen. Really don't think it should be advertised as a 3 person room.

• Narelle (8/5): Everything you need to experience a little piece of Tokyo life. - This was a very quiet apartment in spite of being in Shinjuku. It was conveniently located for visiting this part of Tokyo and accessing the station. Clearer pictures or instructions of how to find the property would have been helpful. I was initially at the property next door and then didn't immediately realise that we needed to go up in the elevator to the apartment before finding the lock box. There are a lot of other doors with lock boxes in that general area. However our hosts were very helpful when I contacted them even though we arrived quite late at night.
• tamara (7/5): - El lugar es bueno en precio calidad, era chica ma habitacion como se puede ver en las fotos. Sin embargo estaba limpio, la habitación en si perfecta y la ubicación es muy buena! Lo mejor para estar cerca del centro pero sin ruido ya que la calle no es tan concurrida. Volveria a quedarme en relacion precio calidad pero sabiendo que es complejo cocinar o comer ahi debido al espacio. Muy facil entrar al departamento y muy buena la comunicación con el anfitrion. Lo que era muy chico es la cocina y no es comodo la mesa para comer ahi. El baño tambien bastante chico. Para 1 persona esta bien, siendo 2 es justo pero esta ok si no hay mucho equipaje.

• Alba (1/5): El peor alojamiento de mi vida, estaba muy muy sucio - Del alojamiento no me gustó absolutamente nada, estaba muy muy sucio extremadamente pequeño el baño se despellejaban las paredes la ducha súper sucia las sábanas sucias . En la puerta del alojamiento vimos más de 15 ratas, fue un desastre si hubiera encontrado esa misma noche algo me hubiera ido desastre allí sin pensármelo. Era asqueroso el peor alojamiento que he estado nunca No me gustó nada estaba súper sucio

• Somer (2/5): I was not comfortable in the room at all. - Location was alright in the heart of Shinjuku and close to train station. Personally I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room there was dust on vents, marks in the bathroom and lots of stains on the walls and carpet. The elevator/hallway leading to the room was dimly lit and not in great condition. You can hear other people in their rooms very easily almost felt I had no privacy to even make a phone call.. the door was a metal door and made lots of noise opening/closing it and the deadlock on it was getting jammed. I wasn’t happy with the rooms security and cleanliness and ended up moving accommodation to a hotel paying practically the same amount for a comfortable stay.

• Leandro Ernesto (8/5): genial para pasar unos dias en pleno centro de Shinjuku y al lado de shin okubo - Estaba muy bien ubicado, el anfitrión fue muy amable las veces que contactamos, tenia servicio de lavandería y el transporte estaba muy cerca Me costo mucho encontrarlo al principio, el baño es muy pequeño y eso que soy una persona no muy alta y sin toma de corriente para enchufar secador o plancha del pelo en el baño, por lo que habia que apañarselas, pero es algo que me paso en otro hostal tambien por lo que me imagino sera algo de japon y este estilo de habitaciones. Esta muy bien ubicado, pero es verdad que por donde estas no paras de encontrarte gente de camino al hostal por la noche que te para para timarte o ofrecerte servicios dudosos y es muy molesto cuando estas cansado y solo quieres llegar al hostal a descansar, pero no es culpa del hostal en si mismo mas que de la zona donde está

Shower pressure is great and check-in was easy (but if you need to speak to staff it's all online) As others pointed out it's quite small but perfect for a solo traveller. • Tanya Marie (10/5): Perfekt - Veldig sentrumsnært og tilgang til de beste severdighetene i Shinjuku. Syntes også det var skikkelig luksus at det var shampoo, balsam, hårføner og flere artikler tilgjengelig i leiligheten. Ingenting å klage på :)

The balcony was really a big bonus, given how small the room is. Toilet is below Japan standards, even public toilets are better than this. I must say that it is good value for money, I was just expecting a bit more maybe. The toilet was below Japan standards. There was iron, that was not working at all.
