Guest Reviews

- Tara (3/5): Awful - Location which is why we booked it Awful airflow throughout the flat, we were there for a warm 2 days and hardly any windows opened. When you did open them we got full force of the busy tube trains, very close by. But worst of all was the restaurant below which doubles as a nightclub and to be honest you may as well go as its just as loud in the flat! The place was in need of some tlc with curtains hanging off rails, no light switch in one of the bedrooms, blood on the sofa, stains on chair fabric, grubby fixtures like light switches. For the money, very disappointing and will never return.
- Jeanne (8/5): Excellent value in a beautiful street with a great restaurant to eat at, down below the flat. - This flat is spacious and just what three old friends needed. However, if you aren’t mobile, you would find access via stairs, difficult. Because we are older, a bathmat to prevent slipping would be handy. One room had a missing switch to put on a light and likewise on the fan.
- Volgyesi (5/5): Great location, very clean and comfortable with a few significant drawbacks. - Great location, spacious quarters and very clean. Hosts were very kind and obliging. When I couldn't get into the door one day they worked very hard to get it fixed. They checked back to make sure all was well. I didn't get information on how to get in till after I arrived and had to call my host.
The second bathroom in this two bedroom flat had no mirror over the vanity, the shower leaked badly on to the floor and there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything.
I would have given this place a better rating except for the noise from the restaurant below. I couldn't sleep till after 1 am every night because the din was so loud in my bedroom. Both bedrooms did not have good curtains and the street lights shone in through the window and skylight. Finally, my bedroom had no bedside lamps - just one overhead light.

- Cliff (8/5): It was nice with large lounge and spacious bedrooms would recommend it. - Location was good close to Natural History Museum Might consider a microwave and toaster.
- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonio (4/5): give plenty of notice, or be ready to wait for your apartment. - location is fantastic and the flat is good, although very noisy from the train passing by and the extraction system from the restaurant below, not a deal breaker for us, but I could imagine people with small kids finding this really annoying. checking in was a nightmare, booked at 13:08pm, the check in time was 3pm was we showed up at the property at that time, only to be told by the host at 15:01pm that the apartment wouldn't be ready until 4:30pm.
we've been working in London since 5am and having to wait around for an hour and a half was rather disappointing, to say the least. no discounts was offered, as apparently, according to our host, we already got a good deal in the first place so having to wait 90 minutes wasn't worth of a discount. all that was offered, was a discount on a coffee to the bar next door, which I find very odd, as we already paid for our stay and now had to spend more money because the property wasn't ready.
- Joe (3/5): Too hot to sleep, noisey but good location and price. - Fair price, good size living area. Not a particularly hot day but the property was ridiculously hot at night. No window in one of the bedrooms but a locked glass door with a light on really right outside and thin curtain so hard to sleep.
There was a fan unit, but super noisey and didn’t do a lot.
Pretty noisey.
Coffee machine had not been cleaned in a very long time so water holder was full of mould.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Big big tv & big space
- Nigel (5/5): Very good flat and location, needs to improve. - The location was great and cheap considering it is in a very good area. It was very comfortable. The Italian restaurant next door has very nice food. Not enough mugs (only one), bowls (only one), no terrestrial tv (no aerial). (I did text the owner asking for more mugs but it didn’t happen. The free parking is street parking but only overnight, not what I describe as free parking. 10 minutes walk away is secure parking (chargeable). The Italian next door plays loud music until 1pm.
If the above shortages and the advert for free parking is amended then I would give more than 3 stars. Also warn about the potential of noise.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Annette (3/5): Far too noisy and unpleasantly hot - Location The noise from the trains and the music from the restaurant downstairs was awful. The flat was stiflingly hot as there was no air con and only two windows that opened slightly. I found the host was difficult to contact and there was no information on how to connect to wi-fi. Overall not a great experience.
- Sarva (8/5): Great location spacious flat. - Very spacious flat, even by non London standards. Comfortable beds in two proper bedrooms and two good sized bathrooms. Great location. Easy communication with host. Huge TV with Netflix. Bit stuffy in hot weather as not many windows can open. Noise from trains and the bar downstairs can be annoying but not overwhelming; the baby slept through it all. Minimal dishes in the kitchen.
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
