Guest Reviews
- Halliwell (9/5): Good, I'd stay again. Thanks for the Face Time Yanning to obtain the Key from the Lock Box - The Shower Overflows. To prevent this happening, I removed the Tiled Cover that is on the Drain. There is no Drain outside of the Shower to let any excess water drain away, too late to fix this now.
You may want to consider changing the Tile Drain Cover to something that lets the water drain away faster
- Geoff (9/5): Superb - Great location n comfortable bed Cant think of anything
- Lauren (10/5): Bedroom view TO DIE FOR! - The floor to ceiling windows one two sides of the bedroom were the highlight. For someone who loves natural light- especially after opening the blinds in the morning, it was divine. The entire flat was so modern, new and perfect for two people- I could live here! The view was stunning- overlooking the Adelaide hills and sunrise.
The location was perfect, a small walk from the train station and just off the main shopping strip of the city. Botanic parks around the corner and all the eating options within a 5-20min walk.
The building is brand new and in fab condition. The only downside is the pool was closed for construction in the building and The kitchen could have been stocked better.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Great for a holiday stay - The location was very convenient for us, close to transport, Botanic Gardens, hire car and shopping mall. We had a partial view of the Adelaide Hills. The kitchen was fully equipped. All very clean with plenty of space. Nothing.
- Fiona (4/5): It was disappointing, given this was our first trip to Adelaide. - Privately owned apartment listed on booking.com
Agreed meeting time to enter was 3pm, but not there to meet us ( 10 minutes late)
Apartment was not cleaned adequately, there had been a spill in the balcony and glass balustrade , not cleaned up and they apparently don’t provide a top sheet for the bed. The lights above the kitchen bench did not work and the windows on the sliding door to balcony were filthy.
Location can’t be faulted and view of city / park was excellent though. Just need a new cleaner!!
- Stephen (8/5): Very good if you are staying WITHOUT a car. Very comfortable, clean and centrally located. - The accomodation was very clean, appointed well for two for a short stay and well located for access to Adelaide The website indicates the availability of a car park bay which is essential for central city location. We tried to secure the apartment parking as indicated in the site information but were informed there were none available.First come first served basis and we enquired when we booked. So it was suggested we park at Wilson close by at $30 per night. Seemed reasonable option or so we thought. The parking bay was never available because the apartment does not have a dedicated bay allocated to it as we found out from the concierge upon checking. Secondly if you park at Wilson overnight as you must do at the city, it is $60 as the parking is not by the hour but falls over 2 days. This means an additional $180 of cost for the 3 night stay.
We would have stayed elsewhere for less, with parking a little outside of Adelaide centre and transported in. This would've been significantly cheaper. It seems a little deceptive the way the Cedar was advertised and we were disappointed with this and have never experienced any stay with this parking issue.
I have contacted Consumer Affairs concerning regarding our issue with the cost differential and how the apartment is being promoted.I hope you look at the advertising for the Cedar and rectify this.
Please let us know if you feel this was reasonable.
- Rebekka (9/5): Had a great time here, can only recommend! - The location is awesome, close to the Botanic Gardens which I liked. The view from both the balcony and the bedroom are nice.
Wifi was very good and necessary household-items were provided.
Staff was very friendly and forthcoming.
Would stay here again!
