• Laurenlin123 (10/5): My home away from home - Location - I visited Athens many times in the past. I tried to find a place that's away from the tourist jam in a tranquil and nice neighbourhood. Found it! The apartment's location is perfect for me. There is a bus stop less than 10 mins walk away to take you to the centre (takes about 30-40 mins), or you can walk about 20mins to the metro stop, Line 3 takes you straight to anywhere you want to go in Athens. There were some days I didn't even bother to go to the centre, as Neo Phychiko (lovely quiet residential area, dotted with foreign Embassies) has many lovely cafes, bakeries and restaurants around, I truly enjoyed this neighbourhood. By the way, taxi costs about 40 euros from the airport to the address. Or you can walk 20mins to the metro stop of Ministry of Defence, it goes to the airport. Convenience - everything is clearly instructed in the email before my arrival. And I ordered more than 5 take aways on eFood app with this address, easy and convenient. I even got a hair cut at the hair salon near by (got lots compliments after I returned back to the UK) Comfort - Nice hot shower! The apartment is spacious and light filled (if you prefer to open all the blinds), lovely little balcony to wind down. Perfect for me as I am a solo traveler. Value - Absolute bargain!!!I'll be back again! And there is Netflix on telly! There were days I had to remind myself to get out of the house! "You are not in Athens to binge watching Netflix". It does make me feel like home . There is really nothing negative. I don't quite understand the duvet cover :)) I found it funny.
