Guest Reviews
- Todor (9/5): - Everything was so good. Special thanks to the host, Alessandra for her hospitality and kindness. The property is in a historical building from 15th century and the feeling is as you are in a museum or gallery. Location is perfect - Vatican city, Havona square, and other tourist attractions are on walking distances. I don't know.
- Aimée (8/5): -
- zahra (8/5): Très bien passé vivement recommandé - L’emplacement et accueil chaleureux L’étage sous-sol un peu humide mais supportable
- Lala (7/5): Excellent communicative host and very well located. Bit too quirky for us but may suit others better. - The host could not have been more helpful. Given we booked on the evening we arrived her help was invaluable. The location was great for walking both for dinner in Trastevere, visiting Vatican City and all the major sites of Rome are walkable within a 25 minute radius. The apartment fit 5 of us plus luggage well. Check in and check out we’re very easy and clear. The road is fairly quiet so feels safe to step out onto as apartment opens directly onto road. It is a small road and as such not much used but when cars do pass you can hear them as expected. There’s a nice little coffee shop nearby and plenty of restaurants, bakeries and amenities nearby. For me as a family of a single parent and four children, the property was a little too quirky for us. I completely appreciate it being in a old building in Rome and for some this might be great and atmospheric but for us the stairs down to the kitchen and second bedroom made it a bit of a concern even with 10 year old kids in the night time. The downstairs has a very fusty smell. The bathrooms are tired but functional but with rather revolting toilet brushes visible. The hot water can be erratic when showering. There are also no pillow case or mattress protectors on any of the beds which for me feels a fundamental hygiene necessity. The beds and pillows were old and stained and not particularly comfortable but served the purpose for two nights. The iron was broken in the cupboard and unusable and we really struggled to get some laundry to dry without a proper drying rack. You will have natural light and small street light coming in on the ground floor so may benefit from an eye mask if this bothers you. There are no windows at all or natural light in the basement bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There is no dishwasher so it would have been nice to have had a fresh cloth and scourer left rather than a used one.
Having stayed at other apartments in Rome previously I felt this was not best suited to us or our best value find but we were very grateful of the last minute booking and the hosts excellent communication and help.
- minal (6/5): -
- Hannah (10/5): Excellent stay in the heart of Rome - It was charming. Full of character and spacious for a family of five. Nothing not to like. It’s simple but exactly what we were after. Liked the modern small kitchen also, especially as there was a big dining space.
- GrajinaV (10/5): -
- Miguel (10/5): Perfect place for a group trip to Rome - The location is basically the best you can choose in Roma to visit all the main monuments. Specially close to Vatican and Piazza Navona.
Good to fit up to 6 people, with a really comfy supletory bed.
The host was super nice and helpfull qith everything we needed.
They include courtesy coffee, nutella and croissants.
I would definitly repeat. Nothing.
- Zhanying (7/5): Good - location facilities
- Rose (9/5): Superb -
- Sulger (9/5): Superb - The kitchen was very useful. We had everything at our disposal and that was very important. The WI-FI is very good but in the underground room the signal doesn't reach to well.
- Вилияна (9/5): Fantastic - The location of the place is fantastic, walking distance from most landmarks. Davide is very welcoming and assisted us with the transfer to the apartment. The apartment is situated on a peaceful street in classic Italian house. You can feel the atmosphere of Italy. Recommended for people who want to dive into classic architecture and feel the beauty of old Rome.
- María (9/5): Very well located apartment with a great host - Davide is a great host, he was very flexible with our arrival and departure times, and always very kind.
Before arrival, he sent us very useful information about the area around the apartment and left us some breakfast, which was very appreciated.
The apartment is very well located and we could do almost everything by walking and to take the bus, it was 2 minutes away with a lot of options.
- Matteo (10/5): Great experience in the heart of Rome - Historic apartment and furnished with classic taste. I wanted to go see the Vatican Museums with my wife and from the apartment it took us 15 minutes on foot. Also the other attractions of Rome such as the Pantheon and Piazza Navona are very close, strategic position. The host Davide was very helpful and always responded promptly. Recommended!
- Vivian (5/5): Passable - Close to vatican museum Its a old building, no hot water, all of us did not take shower because no hot water, we called the owner and they saying they come to fix it. But doesnt fixed at all, 1day and 1 nites no hot water. And their appliances need to replace, the bed , comforter are all old need to replacd too,and the bed are not compatible
- Yulia (10/5): Very nice and useful place - Historic house in the center of Rome. Very convenient street entrance on the ground floor, close to all the beauties of the city. Recommended
- Dmytro (9/5): Great place and great hosts - Great location, near centro storico , but in the quiet neighbourhood. 15 minutes from Vatican.
Davide, the host, was extraordinary, thank you!! Apartments are located in 15th century building, but has all modern amenities.
- Kristina (10/5): Nice apartment in the center of Rome - Historic and elegant apartment, excellent location. Very responsive and nice host
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious casa, location is great, and service from Davide is impeccable. Thanks for eveything!
- Andreea (3/5): Very uncomfortable - Location It was incredibly dirty, loads of mold, dust and spider webs
- Paul (10/5): In the Heart of old Rome - Classic style house, with attention to the smallest details. Very close to both Piazza Navona and the Vatican museums
- Arman (10/5): Traditional and well located apartment - The best thing about the apartment is the location, you can get around the whole historical part of Rome on foot. It is an old apartment, so don't expect modernity, but very welcoming
- Dorian (9/5): Location was excellent, would stay there again! - Location was great! Bathrooms outdated.
- Alex (9/5): Superb - Loved the old features, location was brilliant for getting around rome Only a small thing avoided using downstairs bathroom due to having young children who are used to flushing toilet paper.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Central and excellent value for money. - The host is excellent. Welcoming food and coffee, lots of towels and toiletries. The location is absolutely superb! Downstairs bedroom
- Ani (4/5): Disappointing -
- Avinash (8/5): Very good - We liked location, space, historical value of property and most importantly, host - Davide was very responsive.
- Jhonathan (9/5): Superb - Perfect location, host (David) is super nice and helpful! Apartment is spacious and cosy Bed sofa could be more comfortable
- Elena (7/5): Good - Davide was always available and helpful. Great location and walking distance.
- Anna (4/5): The location is good, but unfortunately we did not have a pleasant stay. Some of the problems were: There were almost no - Location
- Cassidy (9/5): Superb - Great location. Host very helpful. Lovely accommodation.
- Kira (9/5): Superb - Location is great. 20 min to Vaticano, 40 to Colosseo. Was clear, nice, warm. Apartment has 2 floors (one underground). Window in bedroom is not closed
- Hugo (10/5): Great apartment in the center of Rome.Very quiet at night, amazing location. - The location is amazing - in the historical center but on a quiet side street, walking distance to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori, a quick bus ride to the Colosseo, and close to great restaurants and shops. Because the front door opens to the street one can hear people talking as they pass by, same as occassionally cars or motorbikes, but it's very quiet at night - no problem sleeping. Apartment is well equipped, on two levels, beds are a good size (queen). Great communication with the host too, always happy to give directions or recommendations. Good wifi. Heating and a/c work well. Nice welcome touch with some pastries, Nutella, coffee capsules and bottled water. Plenty of towels, and extra duvets if needed. Nothing! All good.
- Martin (2/5): Very poor - Location Both of the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable.
- Gazelle.dastbaz (10/5): Exceptional - The property was super cosy and super cute. Most importantly for me the host was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. Everything was set for our late arrival and our morning. The host provided all the necessary information and went the extra mile. I would definitely rebook again in the future and 1000% recommend this place.
- Maciej (10/5): Exceptional - Everything as in description. Location is very good! Everything is close. Colloseo, Vatican, museums.
Great please!
- Sonja (10/5): Great location near historic sites and shops, great facilities inside the flat, excellent hosts - The location is excellent, about 10-15 minutes walk from both the Vatican and the Pantheon and other sites in the historic centre. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful, very attentive to my needs. The flat itself is very comfortable and has all one might need for a longer stay as well. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby, but it is a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.
