- Riley (1/5): Disgusting, unhygienic, very uncomfortable not private at all and way too expensive for what it is, - Nothing Pillows were covered in hairs, they had clearly been slept on and not washed or replaced before our stay!
We were given ONE TOWEL for a couple stay that was indicated on our booking. As well as no face or hand towels.
Bed was almost broken
- Mike (7/5): -
- James (1/5): Refused to stay there. - Run down and drug addicts out the front.
- Sheryl (1/5): Absolute fail on all levels - Nothing Booked the property, arrived at property, couldn’t contact host by phone, text or through Booking.com. for code to enter building.
Finally got a guest at the venue to contact host, only to be told there was no room at the venue I had booked & paid for.
Gave me another address, which was back where I had originally caught Uber from.
I was not happy, very poor communication.
- Vladimir (9/5): Božja providnost u angelu Adminu - Ipak promjena lokacije i nije bila loša no Gost Amin
Super čovjek pomogao mi u romjeni i smještaju i komunikaciji Komunikacijs

- Cody (1/5): - Nothing Everything, room booked was in a completely different location, messy and dirty
- Ba tien (7/5): -
- Allan (3/5): Traumatic initially, then finally ok. - The room we finally had was very clean and tidy. The location is NOT 26 Gladstone RD, but rather a place some distance away. Inexcusable to have the wrong address. This MUST BE REMEDIED. We were not made aware of this until after we arrived at Gladstone Rd. At 11.00pm in a strange city we were very glad we still had the taxi.
- Bennett (1/5): - Nothing Arrived to find no bed available the tenantscwrre drunk

- Michael (10/5): Not bad.Nice and close to my school reunion. - I didn’t intend to have breakfast any way. It was all good.
- Geoffrey (6/5): Overall the it served the purpose. Would only use it for a short term like over might stay. - It was ok. Close to south bank but not the disabled The cost .
Given one towel and had to hassle for extra. NO house keeping at all stayed 5 nights. The bed room was smaller than the bathroom
Ok for a single and not double .It would be nice if the entrance was cleaned and garden maintained. Would make the house look more Inviting.
- Bebe Penpan (6/5): - Close to city and open 24 hours can check in any time
- Leigh (5/5): Disappointing - Close to public transport. We didn’t use any of the facilities other than the bathroom. Bathroom was reasonably clean. We weren’t impressed by the cleanliness of the bedroom as we found hairs all over the pillows and stains on the bed sheets. We were also only provided with one towel. The property is off a main road and it was very loud, as well as people coming in late at night made it a very uneasy sleep.
- Mark (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable The building is a bit old, and it's more of a shared accommodation setup. There's a shared kitchen, but it would be better with a kettle and supplies in the room.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - Private room with a large bathroom. , great location so close to the cbd .
Guesthouse accommodation at a reasonable price .
- Robyn (1/5): no good - no bare electrical wires

- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (1/5): Horrible and didnt even stay, had to boom accomodation somewhere else - Bathroom was not in a great condition as shit was left in the bowl, hair was in the shower and was not nice at all and didn’t shower, bags everywhere in the shared area and could not use the table, had a lady smoking outside our window and stunk out our room, blocking the door while smoking, didn’t find out how to get in till 4 hours after we could check in, emailed to confirm 3 days earlier and didn’t get any info
- Sheridan (7/5): Good -
- Jeffrey (7/5): Served our purpose and well managed - Community bathroom
- Eziz (8/5): Very good -
- Groessler (5/5): Passable - Locality & price Just because of my age, the floors were a bit slippery, but otherwise ok.
- Abbey (2/5): Very poor - There were multiple rats and the bathroom was very unclean.
- Charles (8/5): Note that there are shared bathroom kitchen snd laundry facilities - Interior is kept clean by staff pity that some guests don’t clean up after themselves. The front yard is dirty and untidy and gives a poor impression of the property.
- Karl (7/5): Good -
- Bernie (2/5): Very poor -
- Jason (7/5): Good location - Location Too hot and only one towel
No hot water in the shower
- Audrey (4/5): Disappointed - No television
Bear necessity Everything
- Hansen (4/5): Disappointing -
- Renata (8/5): Very good - It was very clean, a good location. It was good value for money. The air con was ducted but did not seem to cool our room.
- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Singh (8/5): Very good -
- Tasith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (7/5): Good - Absolutely spotless and freshly painted and new and bright inside. Room pictures were accurate for my room. Room 1. Nice furnishings and drapes. Small desk with chair. Bed reasonably comfortable. Very fresh. Kitchen nice. Good evaporative ( I think ) cooling. The bedroom window was painted halfway shut, no doubt to prevent mildew etc from evaporative cooling. However the traffic noise can be horrendous. An additional ceiling fan or even portable room fan would help this situation in summer and give the room guest extra control over their comfort, as the evaporative cooling control is central to the whole household.
House really needs an additional and bathroom separate toilet.
- Debora (1/5): Terrible Experience - Avoid This Property - Nothing Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and unpleasant. The room was infested with cockroaches, and the smell was unbearable, making it clear that it had not been properly cleaned or attended to. To make matters worse, there was no one on the property to assist us with these issues. We had to deal with the insects ourselves, which was unacceptable.
For two guests, we were provided with just one towel, which shows a lack of basic hospitality. The windows lacked proper mosquito screens, leaving us exposed to insects, further adding to our discomfort.
The common area was in complete disarray, with clothes hanging around and an unpleasant smell, making it impossible to use or relax in. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here. It was far from the standards of comfort and cleanliness we expected.
- Natalia (4/5): Disappointing - The location. Window in the room couldn’t be closed all the noise from the streets was coming in throughout the night.
I didn’t have access to the toilets. The keys didn’t work.
- Brett (7/5): A few improvements ie fans & another toilet id definitely stay again - Location and good clean room No fan in room Brisbane summer?
One bathroom-toilet god help everyone in the event the house is full (5 rooms)
- Shivan (7/5): Good -

- Paulina (8/5): Convenient - It was incredibly close to South Bank. As a couple sharing facilities with other women walking around in their underwear was kind of off putting. Also the window in the bathroom was stuck open and neighbours could see in whilst showering and toileting 😞
- Raza (10/5): Excellent - Location and cost Nothing
- Leimenstol (3/5): Poor -
- Tania (9/5): Superb -
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): great, comfy, convenient. - Very clean and a great comfy bed with aircon There was a couple of noisy guests staying in another room but not much can do about that haha
- Ulrike (10/5): Quiet and spacious - Late check-in ability. Distance from South Bank train station - easy walk. Beautiful spacious room. Quiet. Close to Southbank and Brisbane Convention Centre. Host was very accommodating. ( Thank you ) Very clean, sunny.
Facilities were great. Location location location. 😁
- Justin (6/5): Pleasant - They let me go in early which helped me out a lot. To be honest, i believe this place is overpriced by 20-30 per night. It is a halfway house and it doesn't have a heat pump. Which means in the winter it will be freezing and in the summer, boiling hot. Its also noisy.
Its a nice enough place, but for 140 a night, it is no where near that good.
- Einarsson (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (5/5): Passable -
- Junjie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nana (7/5): Good - The location near South Bank station and walk around 10-15mn. To get there, Bedroom so clean and comfortable. I don’t like toilet because no toilet paper have to bring your own. Toilet sharing
- Katherine (2/5): A nightmare. - A boarding house that looked like a hovel from the outside. No light at the entryway. They initially didn’t send me the key code. I had to struggle opening the key lock and the light from my phone. Renovated inside, but the air conditioning was for the whole facility and on a timer for 3 hours only. We were there during a heat wave. I had to open the windows and it‘a on a main thoroughfare with loud traffic noise all night. Then they had the temerity to send a condition of stay after we’d arrived saying we had to clean our own room or incur a fee. A hotel in Brisbane overlooking the water was only nine dollars more per night- before the undisclosed cleaning fee. The pillows were so high and hard we had to use our clothes stuffed in the pillowcase. No TV. The only reason we stayed there was because of a booking error that came from the search engine on this site. I thought we were booked in a Brisbane hotel and it was for a week ahead. When I nominated the dates at the start of the search process with Booking.com I believed the hotels that appeared were for that date. You have hotels that are booked out appearing on your search results! This whole situation was very dangerous for me and my elderly mother who is nearly 89 and who doesn’t cope with the heat. The search results, and everything else. I have trusted booking.com in the past, but your search results are unreliable.
- Morten (4/5): Disappointing - Good location. There were no ceiling fans so was a hot night.
Traffic noise was pretty bad.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (10/5): The comforts of home - It was so easy to walk to the main hub of South Bank To keep our window open in our room was held up by a bolt, which was a slight concern.
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Aaron (5/5): Passable - Good location.
Sheets had stains on them.
Other guest were very disrespectful. Very noisy and unhygienic.
Contact person was very help full. Facilities were clean, apart from my sheets.
Also bit worrying when ear cancelling buds were left in room, I did need them.
Hot water was not very hot.
- Ads (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (8/5): Very good - Decent bed, parking, easy to find, convenient shared shower room
- Marlon (7/5): Good -
- John (9/5): Open friendly easy parking at back. Lovely layout with rooms 100% private & 100% clean bathroom. - Staff were very good and were able to answer my questions late at night and respond within 1 minute. Excellent job from staff. No coffee when it was promoted that tea and coffee were availalbe.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Internet sign obvious place
Clean bathroom
- Michael (5/5): Not bad.But not told of entry code or which room I was in.All sorted in the end.u - What breakfast? Less noise and fresher bread for breakfast.
- Jeff (5/5): Ok, close to Southbank, good bed. - Clean, tidy, Bathroom noisey, front yard and outside very untidy, over priced.
- Stephen (1/5): Bad -
- Aileen (1/5): Not a recommended place to stay. - The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. No signage and there is nothing to say this is even accommodation. I was supposed to receive a message on how to find the property and how to get the key. Nothing arrived and so I spent 30 min trying to find information and finally got a number to call. Twice I went to the door and was told they had no idea what I wanted. There is no information in the room about staying here and yet when I informed the women about how I felt, she suggested I should have contacted the manager (who was that?). No info on aircom which is central so I had to have window open to a noisy street. Other "guests" were exceptionally noisy and that was with ear plugs in. I had to get up and ask them to lower the noise at midnight. I stayed on a monday night. The shower had no hot water at 6am and so I had a tepid shower. Overall I would not stay here again and would not recommend. I chose this due to the location for an education day closeby, so location was the only good part..
- James (7/5): Clean, comfortable stay in a great location - Location was great, exactly what I was after for the one night
The room was nice
Kitchen set up was good No individual air con control or fan for the room. Main house control for rooms
Even though locked I didn’t like a doorway to the main bathroom/toilet connected to MY room. Maybe wall it out . . .
- Sarah (10/5): Great experience - Great communication from the host, very clean common areas and especially bathroom! Proximity to other guest? But not a big deal
- Lynda (9/5): Superb -
