Guest Reviews
- Billy (5/5): Apartment cheap and ok if you are just using it as a location to sleep. - Close to central London. Quiet location. OK just to use for somewhere to sleep 1 bedroom smelled of dampness, headboard ripped and had a poor repair, ceilings had paint peeling in the kitchen, taps full of limescale, and difficult to use in bathroom.
- Suneeta (7/5): Good - Location and ease of finding keys. Very responsive Flat looks tired. Beds are not comfortable
- Hawk (8/5): Very good - Location and easy access.
Kitchen facilities were great...did the job... Pillows were too thick...caused my wife to have a stiff neck the next morning.
- Carol (9/5): This flat is in a fantastic location, host was great with instructions, just think it needs a redecoration right through - Excellent location Needs decorating, kitchen not great, very tired .. plenty of appliances and crockery clean but didn’t use cooking facilities.
- Malcolm (9/5): Very nice - Peaceful location , easy to get too
- Jamie (10/5): Incredible - Everything was spot on Pillows were a bit hard
- Hannah (7/5): Good - The location was excellent! And the staff before, during and after the trip were super sweet, the apartment itself was okay considering the price... The space we had was very good though, for a group of four, we never felt we were on top of each other The apartment needed a bit of TLC - some rooms were quite dishevelled in areas and the beds & pillows were not comfy at all - for any longer stays, I wouldn't recommend but for a quick stay it was good.
- Kelidou (4/5): Unpleasant stay - The flat is in a good area It was very dirty, the bathroom had hairs and dirt,i had to clean my self, the beds very hard and about the pillows i was expecting after so many comments that would be changed but nope, very hard you can't sleep. The kitchen also dirty,i washed everything before i use,the house needs love and a deep clean, but seems the owner doesn't care..
- Kristýna (9/5): Nice flat in heart of London - Perfect place in the city center, close to underground, everything was perfect, clean. Full equipped kitchen Extremely hard pillows but you can use sofa pillows…
- Hayley (8/5): Very good -
- Becky (7/5): Perfect for central london. Needs a bit of care. - I booked for the excellent location and the configuration (separate rooms and living area). Noise-wise it is typical of zone 1. It needs a bit of love. A lick of paint and a deep clean would make a difference. Also I found the thick, hard pillows very difficult to sleep on. I think they probably look good on photos but they aren’t comfy.
- Nina (3/5): Disappointed with the accommodation - Great location, washing machine. Extremely noisy from 6 am as above a couriers. No blinds in main living area to block out light. Kitchen filthy , cups had tea marks in them. Fridge had crumbs in. In living room hair under sofa and rubbish left! Dust everywhere, shower grimy.
We had booked for 3 nights and paid in advance however on the 3rd night a cleaner arrived at 8pm and startled a member of of our party who is extremely vulnerable. I of course rang and they said it was an error on the computer causing this !
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Marcus (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location for our first time in London .Excellent value for our family of 5 . As stated in previous reviews the pillows aren't good ( masive) however we're a bit weird and travel with our own so this wasn't an issue . Good communication with host. Pillows
- Amit (6/5): Pleasant - Close to shops and Russell Square tube station. The bedrooms were neat and clean. The bathroom was also clean. Living room space is not adequate for a group of 6. There is one sofa that seats 3. Rest have to take the dining table chairs. The kitchen has utensils but a lot of them were worn out, scratches on non-stick utensils. Toilet flush gets stuck at times. and refills very slowly. There is only 1 bathroom which becomes an issues when you are in a group of 6. There are shops below, so there is a lot of noise in the morning and in the evening.
- Nick (8/5): Very good - location all as advertised no negatives
- Michael (6/5): A great location, but hot in the summer. - Great location for all London’s top attractions. Was just so hot because of a small heatwave. It would be good if there was a strong fan in each of the bedrooms. Also, the huge pillows were rather uncomfortable, but other than that, the flatwas fine.
- Tracey (6/5): Apartment sleeps 6 in 3 double bedrooms. - The fact it had three separate bedrooms with proper beds to sleep in. The communication before hand including the directions etc and during the stay as unfortunately the WiFi and tv were not working. We discovered a great bakery down a nearby side street. Fortitude bake House. Definitely recommend. Unfortunately the router wasn't working, so no WiFi or TV. But the owner was very good at trying to get this sorted, hopefully the router will be replaced shortly and all sorted. As stated previously the pillows were the hardest most uncomfortable pillows ever. So bad that 3 out of 4 of the party gave up and slept without.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (8/5): Great location for a no fuss comfortable base for a few days in London. - Great location and private flat. Comfortable for 3 people. A bit rundown but great value for money.
- Patrick (10/5): Perfect base for London 👍🏼 - Amazing location was a perfect base for our group. Great check in instructions. Plenty of hot water for 6 of us taking showers. Host was always available. Would book again if I come back to London Nothing.. everything was great!!
- Rob (5/5): Passable - Cleanliness of cold water dispenser awful, full of mould (pictured). Pillows like rocks. Wire hanging out of wall(pictured ). No TV Channels available, tried everything to retune, not possible.
- Katrina (6/5): Great location and good to have 3 bedrooms but apartment needs a refit to justify the cost. - Great location and 2 reasonable sized and one big bedroom. Wifi good. Fittings and appliance very tired. One bed mattress had a broken spring - so only good for one person - needs to be replaced. Pillows uncomfortable. Curtains in main bedroom are too small and need to be replaced. Toilet worked intermittently and toilet seat moved a lot. Shower temperature setting tap needs repair as kept falling off. Kitchen cupboards rickety and poorly positioned and wires coming out of wall. Only one set of keys for a 3 bedroom apartment.
- Stewart (7/5): Convenient location, with excellent Italian restaurant nearby, though internal facilities were below expectations.but i - Central location and three bedrooms although the third bedroom was very small. Kitchen & bathroom facilities were in need of maintenance - burnt bench top and cupboard fronts not secured. Toilet system barely adequate.
- Jane (7/5): Good - Clean, good location for buses to get about. Host was amazingly helpful. Lift was a bonus, as we took our 82 year old mum.
Good value for money as this was the cheapest 3 bedroom apartment we found. Above a distribution depot that started deliveries at 6 - 6:30am and it was really noise, so you couldn’t sleep.
Two beds were uncomfortably.
Tired but great value for money.
- Richard (9/5): Very good property in a great location -
- Keegan (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely flat, Great location, clean, great amenities.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
